User physical attribute based device and content management system
Systems and methods for device and content management include determining a user is viewing virtual reality content from a user device, and receiving, through a network from the user device, body information associated with the user while the user is viewing the virtual reality content. A user device management configuration associated with the body information is determined. A user device management action is retrieved using the user device management configuration. A notification associated with the user device management action that causes the user device to perform the user device management action and modify the virtual reality content being viewed by the user is sent through the network to the user device.
MENTAL STATE ANALYSIS USING BLINK RATE FOR VEHICLES
Mental state analysis is performed by obtaining video of an individual as the individual interacts with a computer, either by performing various operations, such as driving a vehicle or being a passenger in a vehicle, or by consuming a media presentation. The video is analyzed to determine eye-blink information on the individual, such as eye-blink rate or eye-blink duration. The blink-rate information is compensated for a context. Blinking for a group of people of which the individual is a part is evaluated. Mental states of the individual are inferred for the blink event based on the blink event, the blink duration of the individual, the difference in blinking between the individual and the remainder of the group, and the blink-rate information that was compensated. The blink-rate information and associated mental states can be used to modify an advertisement, a media presentation, a digital game, or vehicle controls.
Smart eye system for Visuomotor dysfunction diagnosis and its operant conditioning
Disclosed herein is a system that uses an eye tracker for diagnosing and facilitating rehabilitation therapy of a patient suffering from disability. The system creates a human machine interface (HMI) that integrates various low cost biosensors and artificial sensors for conducting rehabilitation therapy. The system combines spinal and supra-spinal feedback of the patient with the operant conditioning to facilitate visuomotor balance therapy (VBT), thereby reducing fall risk in disability survivors. The operant conditioning setup for shaping of visuomotor learning to bring about new behavior or to modify a certain aspect of an existing behavior is used for rehabilitation therapy that includes a behaviour response apparatus, a reward delivery module, a stimulus delivery system, and a behaviour control system. The system can also be extended to the patient's home for providing telerehabilitation therapy.
Vision protection method and systems thereof
A vision protection method is provided to ensure a viewer to rest his/her eyes after viewing on an electronic device for a certain period, wherein the eyesight protection method includes the steps of detecting at least one of eye activities of the viewer and working parameter of the electronic device in a working mode of the electronic device during the viewer is working on a current work displaying by the electronic device; switching the working mode of the electronic device to a resting mode when an abnormal eye activity of the viewer is detected; and switching the electronic device from the resting mode back to the working mode to resume the display of the current work of the electronic device. Therefore, the viewer is enforced to rest his/her eyes after every certain period.
Method and apparatus for early detection of dynamic attentive states for providing an inattentive warning
A method and apparatus for determining an inattentive state of an operator of a vehicle and for providing information to the operator of the vehicle by obtaining face images of the operator of the vehicle, obtaining images of an environment of the vehicle, determining one or more areas of interest in the environment of the vehicle based on the images of the environment, obtaining, from a relevance and priority database, relevance and priority values corresponding to the one or more areas of interest, determining a probability of attention of the operator of the vehicle to the one or more areas of interest based on the images of the environment and the relevance and priority values, determining an attention deficiency based on the determined probability of attention and the face images, and providing the information to the operator of the vehicle based on the determined attention deficiency.
Sleeping mask methods and panels with integrated sensors
A sleeping mask includes a signal processor for processing sensor data, an infrared light source coupled to the signal processor and configured to emit infrared light toward an eyelid of a user, and an array of infrared sensors coupled to the signal processor and configured to receive infrared light reflected from the eyelid of the user.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MONITORING FATIGUED DRIVING
A method and device for monitoring fatigued driving. The device comprises a processor, a monitoring unit an alarm unit and an inflating unit connected to the processor. The processor is used to obtain a monitor result, transmit, according to the monitor result, an alarm instruction to the alarm unit, and transmit an air inflation instruction to inflating unit upon obtaining the monitor result again after transmitting the alarm instruction. The monitor unit is used to monitor, in real time, a driving state of the driver, and transmit data indicating the driving state of the driver; the alarm unit (12) is used to receive the alarm instruction, and provide the alarm according to the alarm instruction; and the inflating unit is used to receive the air inflation instruction, and fill air according to the air inflation instruction.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USING EYE MOVEMENTS TO DETERMINE TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY
Systems and methods for detecting a traumatic brain injury (TBI). The system comprises a sensing arrangement and a control unit. The sensing arrangement collects eye movement data of a user. The control unit is in communication with the sensing arrangement and configured to compare the eye movement data to one or more baseline measurements of eye movement dynamics. The control unit is also configured to generate an alert indicating the presence or severity of the TBI for delivery to control unit administrator if the eye movement data diverges from one or more of the baseline measurements by a threshold amount.
ANS ASSESSMENT SYSTEMS, KITS, AND METHODS
Systems, devices, methods, and kits for monitoring one or more physiologic and/or physical signals from a subject are disclosed. A system including a head mounted display to monitor one or more physiologic signals from the face or head of the subject is disclosed. A method for analyzing an ocular parameter of the subject to determine a sympathetic and a parasympathetic outflow thereto is disclosed.
EYES CLOSED INTERFACE
An eye-mountable device including a lens including a polymeric material, the lens operable to be removably mounted over a corneal surface of an eye and to be compatible with a motion of an eyelid when the concave surface is so mounted; a sensor coupled to the lens and operable to provide output data indicative of whether an eyelid of an eye on which the lens is mounted is closed; and a display operable to display a light signal in response to the output data from the sensor that the eyelid is closed. A method including determining whether an eyelid of a wearer of an eye-mountable device is closed; and when an eyelid of a wearer is closed, sending a light signal from the eye-mountable device.
