In some aspects, an electronic contact lens for treating dry eye is presented. According to some aspects, the electronic contact lens includes a concave surface configured to conform to an eye of a patient, a sensor configured to generate a signal indicative of an eyelid movement, and at least one capacitor configured to store energy used for stimulating the eye. The electronic contact lens may further include at least two electrodes coupled to the at least one capacitor, wherein the at least two electrodes are exposed to the concave surface and configured to deliver power from the at least one capacitor to stimulate the eye. The electronic contact lens further includes a processor coupled to the sensor and electrodes. The processor may be configured to compute a blink rate from the sensor output, and, based on the blink rate, activate the at least two electrodes to stimulate the eye.

A method is implemented by a computing device for helping a particular user use a user interface (UI). Electroencephalography (EEG) data is obtained that indicates brain activity of a particular user during a period in which that user views the UI and/or interprets help information that describes how to use the UI. Based on the EEG data, the computing device selects, from among multiple predefined cognitive states, the one or more cognitive states that characterize the particular user during the period. The computing device assists the particular user to use the UI by customizing the help information for the particular user based on the one or more selected cognitive states. A complementary computing device and computer program product are also disclosed.

The headset comprises one or more sensors embedded into a frame of the headset, a controller coupled to the one or more sensors, and a transceiver coupled to the controller. The one or more sensors capture health information data for a user wearing the headset. The controller pre-processes at least a portion of the captured health information data to generate a pre-processed portion of the health information data. The transceiver communicates the health information data and the pre-processed portion of health information data to an intermediate device communicatively coupled to the headset. The intermediate device processes at least one of the health information data and the pre-processed portion of health information data to generate processed health information data for a health-related diagnostic of the user.
