Contactless Parameters Measurement System And Method
A system for measuring temperature of one or more subjects within a scene including a reference object having an unknown emissivity, having an ambient temperature, the system comprising: a visible spectrum camera capable of acquiring images of the scene comprising (a) at least a Region of Interest (RoI) of each of the subjects, and (b) the reference object; a thermal image sensor capable of acquiring images of the scene comprising (a) at least the RoI of each of the subjects, and (b) the reference object; and a processing circuitry configured to: obtain (a) a visible spectrum image captured by the visible spectrum camera, and (b) a thermal image captured by the thermal image sensor, and (c) an indication of a scene ambient temperature within the scene; register the visible spectrum image and the thermal image onto a common coordinate system; identify (a) RoI pixels, on the common coordinate system, of the RoIs of the subjects within the visible spectrum image, (b) reference object pixels, on the common coordinate system, of the reference object within the visible spectrum image and (c) a parameter correlated to an emissivity of the reference object, based on the reference temperature and on the indication of the scene ambient temperature; determine (a) RoI temperatures by analyzing respective RoIs pixels on the thermal image, and (b) a reference temperature by analyzing the reference object pixels on the thermal image; and upon existence of a difference between the reference temperature and the scene ambient temperature, correct the RoI temperatures, based on the difference and utilizing the parameter, to compensate for the difference, giving rise to corrected RoI temperatures.

Methods and devices for monitoring and changing the physical orientation of an individual are provided. A method includes providing a wearable device that monitors the physical orientation of an individual, monitoring the physical orientation over time using the wearable device, and issuing an alert from the wearable device to change the physical orientation by a prescribed amount when the individual has maintained the physical orientation for a duration exceeding a maximum length. The wearable device is optionally configured to issue subsequent alerts upon determining that the physical orientation has not changed following the duration. The alerts are optionally of varying natures and issued to, for example, the individual, people nearby, and/or caregivers outside the individual's room.
Gait-pace meter and methods of determining gait speed
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate generally to systems and methods of measuring speed and, more particularly, to systems and methods of measuring gait speed using a plurality of sensors. The systems described herein may include sensing units comprising one or more motion sensors for detecting a patient walking along a testing distance. In some embodiments, a controller may calculate a gait speed based at least in part on the testing distance and on signals received from the sensors. In some embodiments, an initiation input may be provided to activate the systems. In some embodiments, the initiation input may also provide a target to which a patient can walk.

Emotional loneliness is referred as the absence of an attachment figure in one's life and someone to turn to. The existing methods use installation of sensors for tracking the movement, behaviour and activity of the person, but most of the efforts are obtrusive in nature. A non-obtrusive method and system for detection of emotional loneliness of a person have been provided. The disclosure is utilizing multiple varied techniques to understand the emotional loneliness. The multiple techniques comprise room change movement anomalies, living room stay anomalies, correlating the living room stay with the bedroom stay and outdoor movement anomalies. The methodology also ensures reduced variance and false positives, as emotional loneliness is finally determined based on more than two positives of above methods. The detection of person's movement is done using a featured engineered dataset based on collection of raw time series data collected from a plurality of motion sensors.

Methods and systems for temperature screening using a mobile device. In one example, a mobile temperature screening system may comprise a mobile device including a display, a memory, a processor, a thermal imaging camera, a visible light imaging camera, and a wireless communication capability. The processor may be configured to obtain a thermal image of a person and a visible light image of the person, determine a body temperature of the person based at least in part on the thermal image, and classify the person as having a normal body temperature when the body temperature of the person is below a threshold temperature. When the body temperature of the person exceeds the threshold temperature the processor may be configured to classify the person as having an elevated body temperature, generate a visual alert, and transmit the thermal image, the visible light image and the classification to a remote device.

The processor of the personal terminal may be configured to receive, from the wearable device, proximity detection information specifying proximity detected by the wearable device between the wearable device and a tag device and sensor data received by the wearable device from the tag device. The processor of the personal terminal may be further configured to determine, based on the proximity detection information and the sensor data, that an action was performed by a patient.

The method includes receiving a value of a parameter of subject condition data and a value of a sample time, for each of a plurality of sample times. The method also includes storing the subject condition data in a data structure including a first field for holding data indicating a current sample time and a second field for holding data indicating the value of the parameter. The method also includes determining a time gap defined by a duration between the current sample time and a most recent sample time and determining whether the time gap exceeds a time gap threshold and causing an apparatus to perform remedial action. A method for presenting the subject condition data on a display is also provided.
