The apparatus incorporates materials having elastomeric properties which may be placed in proximity to a wearer's crotch during operation. The tension is directed to preventing, concealing and/or obfuscating the curvature or shape of private features of the wearer, such as a woman's labia, from visibility through the garment. This improved girdle consists primarily of left and right thigh openings having inseams, bottom seams and closing members positioned along the inseams. The closing members traverse the top and bottom crotches of the girdle and extend downward toward the lower seams of the girdle.
