THREE DIMENSIONAL DISPLAY ENVIRONMENT AND VIEWING THEATER
The invention is generally directed to a visual attraction which provides a multi-dimensional audio/video experience in which the three dimensional screens provide for a three dimensional appearing display of two dimensional images in anticipation of and leading up to a reveal event in which the screens rise to expose a view behind the screens. The visual attraction also collects and separates the visitors to the visual attraction by collecting a predetermined grouping of the visitors and processing them through the attraction in a fashion which provides a manageable flow of visitors spaced apart by the length of the show which then passes the group of visitors in the attraction to the remainder of the attraction before collecting and passing through the next group.
Strain relieved mounting method and apparatus for screen material
A method of mounting screen material may include a screen mounted to a frame at multiple mounting points. One embodiment may include mounting patches attached along the perimeter of the screen. These mounting patches may be strain relieved in order to enable rolling the screen without sacrificing the in-plane rigidity of the patches when the screen is mounted to a frame. Stated differently, the strain relieved patches may reduce the strain on the screen in the circumstance the screen is rolled onto a core. The mounting patches may be strain relieved by locating notches or slits in the mounting patch.
DISPLACEMENT-TYPE SCANNING STEREOSCOPIC DISPLAY APPARATUS
The disclosure discloses a displacement-type scanning stereoscopic display apparatus including: a protective shell, projection screens, light shielding cases, two rotary shafts, conveyor belts, at least two scattering plates; and the rotary shaft is uniformly rotated at a high speed, the scattering plates fixed on the conveyor belt periodically receives image slices projected from the projection screens, and when the scattering plates are moved from one of the rotary shaft positions to the other rotary shaft position, a scanning display of the image slice corresponding to the stereoscopic image is completed. According to the embodiment of the disclosure, by the rotation of the rotary shaft, the moving screen can be moved uniformly, and the display effect and the service life of the stereoscopic display apparatus can be remarkably improved.

THREE DIMENSIONAL SYMBOL FROM TWO DIMENSIONAL STILL IMAGES
The present invention provides a method and device for creating and displaying a symbol comprising a two dimensional representation of a point of light that simulates depth and movement in three dimensions. The symbol is printed onto a substrate and applied as patches, magnets, stickers, cards and posters, and affixed to other surfaces such as clothing and accessories, ornaments, vehicles, building structures and other surfaces to be representative of hope and optimism. Multiple copies of symbol are applied to a three dimensional ornament to simulate a point of light in three dimensions.
Image Display Apparatus
To provide a projection-type image display apparatus which projects an image on a dome screen and a dome type screen apparatus for image projection.
An image display apparatus 100 includes a dome screen 101, a support body 102 configured to support the dome screen 101 so that the dome screen 101 is rotatable around a horizontal axis, two projectors 103 and 104 and a display control apparatus 105, and a chair 106 on which a viewer sits is provided inside space. By rotating the dome screen 101, it is possible to expand a viewing field in a vertical direction.
Augmenting physical appearance using illumination
A system for augmenting the appearance of an object including a plurality of projectors. Each projector includes a light source and a lens in optical communication with the light source, where the lens focuses light emitted by the light source on the object. The system also includes a computer in communication with the plurality of projectors, the computer including a memory component and a processing element in communication with the memory component and the plurality of projectors. The processing element determines a plurality of images to create an augmented appearance of the object and provides the plurality of images to the plurality of projectors to project light corresponding to the plurality of images onto the object to create the augmented appearance of the object. After the images are projected onto the object, the augmented appearance of the objected is substantially the same regardless of a viewing angle for the object.
High elastic modulus projection screen substrates
A stiffening strip at selected edges of a screen may enable the use and mounting of a high-elastic modulus substrate screen material. Such screen materials may be engineered to provide polarization-preserving characteristics, and be applied to or part of the high-elastic modulus substrate. Furthermore, the stiffening strip may enable the use of screen vibration techniques to reduce speckle in display applications that use projection screens, particularly those display applications using illumination sources prone to speckle such as laser-based projection. The screen vibration may be provided by a vibrating device attached to the stiffening strip.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS OF VIBRATING A SCREEN
Screen vibration systems are provided that can vibrate theatre screens using acoustical, electromagnetic, or another type of energy while reducing the presence of image artifacts that may otherwise be visible as result of vibrating the screen. In one example of a screen vibration system, the system includes a screen, a permanent magnet mounted to the screen, and a magnetic source positioned with respect to the permanent magnet and uncoupled from the screen. The screen is moveable in response to a changing magnetic field from the magnetic source.
Screen device, image display system, and image display method for displaying an image with a screen part having at least one polyhedron
This disclosure discloses a screen device. The screen device includes a screen part used for displaying an image, at least one polyhedron including a plurality of planes used as the screen part for displaying the image, and a first drive device configured to rotate the at least one polyhedron around at least one axis.
