METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR INCORPORATING PHYSIOLOGICAL SELF-REGULATION CHALLENGE INTO GEOSPATIAL SCENARIO GAMES AND/OR SIMULATIONS
A method of providing physiological self-regulation challenges prior to participating in a series of activities or exercises at a series of predefined locations includes determining a physiological goal associated with each location. A sensing device measures a physiological state of a user, and a mobile communication device communicates to a user whether or not the user has achieved the physiological goal for the challenge. The level of difficulty of the physiological goal may be reduced if the user does not meet the goal. The physiological goal may comprise a brain state that is conducive to learning, and the sensing device may be configured to measure brain state values representing cognitive engagement. Upon achievement of each physiological goal, the participant is provided with a reward such as information concerning the current predefined location and/or information concerning the next predefined location.

PASSENGER HEALTH SCREENING AND MONITORING
Among other things, techniques are described for screening and monitoring the health of a vehicle user including receiving sensor data produced by a sensor at the vehicle, processing the sensor data to determine at least one health condition of the user of the vehicle, and in response to determining the at least one health condition, executing a vehicle function selected from a plurality of vehicle functions based on the at least one health condition.
Vehicle Control System With Impaired Driver Prevention And Biometric Detection
A vehicle control system with impaired driver prevention and biometric detection includes a vehicle with an ignition interlock circuit and one or more vehicle electrical systems, a detection device with an internal sensor system, and a mobile device having and one or more biometric sensors. The system operates by initiating a vehicle start command via the mobile device, prompting a user for a scan, receiving the scan from the detection device, whereby the scan includes at least a blood alcohol content percentage of the user, acquiring a sensed biometric image via the biometric sensors of the mobile device, and comparing the sensed biometric image to one or more stored biometric images. If the biometric image does not match a stored biometric image, or if the scan includes a blood alcohol content above a threshold value, then the vehicle start command is canceled.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING AND DETECTING SYMPTOMS OF INFECTIOUS CONDITIONS
Systems and methods may include a first monitoring device positioned at a first location to monitor a monitored environment; and a second monitoring device positioned at a second location to monitor the monitored environment, wherein the first and second monitoring devices calibrate each other based on respective fiducial markers; wherein the first and second monitoring devices each comprise a processor and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory storing a plurality of instructions, which when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform the operations of: detecting presence of the individual in the monitored environment; determining whether the condition of interest of the individual exceeds a determined threshold; based on the condition of interest of the individual exceeding the determined threshold, transmitting the condition of interest to a remote server to determine at least one of a social distancing breach and an identification of another person whom the individual contacted.
CONTACTLESS BREATHING DETECTION METHOD AND SYSTEM THEREOF
A contactless breathing detection method is for detecting a breathing rate of a subject. The contactless breathing detection method includes a photographing step, a capturing step, a calculating step, and a converting step. The photographing step is performed to provide a camera to photograph the subject to generate a facial image. The capturing step is performed to provide a processor module to capture the facial image to generate a plurality of feature points. The calculating step is performed to drive the processor module to calculate the feature points according to an optical flow algorithm to generate a plurality of breathing signals. The converting step is performed to drive the processor module to convert the breathing signals to generate a plurality of power spectrums, respectively. The processor module generates an index value by calculating the power spectrums, and the breathing rate is extrapolated from the index value.
Pattern detection and location in a processed image
The present invention is a method of processing a video image in an electronic video processor, including the steps of receiving an input image having an input field of view, generating a processed image from the input image, and having an output field of view smaller than the input field of view, searching for a predetermined pattern within the input image, providing an indication when the predetermined pattern is found in the input image, zooming the processed image to the input field of view and highlighting the predetermined pattern in the processed image in response to the indication.
Weight machine sensor
A weight machine sensor includes a force sensor, a position sensor, and a processor. The force sensor is programmed to output a force signal representing a force applied to a pulley-disposed on a cable incorporated into exercise equipment having a stack of weights. The position sensor is programmed to detect motion of the stack of weights and output a position signal representing the motion detected. The processor is programmed to receive the force signal and the rotation signal and determine, from the force signal and the position signal, exercise data including an amount of exercise resistance and a number of repetitions performed.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR COLLECTING SPIROMETRY DATA

PHYSIOLOGICAL SENSOR CONTROLLER, PHYSIOLOGICAL SENSOR SYSTEM AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
A physiological sensor controller controls a physiological sensor (or ECG sensor), positioned on a patient body, for measuring physiological information (or ECG waveform) of the patient body to output a measurement signal. An acquisition device acquires a verification image containing portions of identification information of the physiological sensor and a face of the patient body. A verifier performs verification of acceptability in a combination of the physiological sensor and the patient body according to the verification image. A receiver receives the measurement signal. A detector detects normality or abnormality of receptivity of the measurement signal. A checker operates assuming that the detector determines the abnormality of the receptivity, and checks whether a retry for the verification in the verifier is required or not. An output device operates assuming that the checker determines requirement of the retry for the verification, and outputs information of encouraging the retry for the verification.
