Method and system to securely register a user in a biometric system
A method and system for securely registering a user in a biometric system. The method includes: receiving, on a computer processor of the biometric system, an identifier of a biometric device and user information; sending, with the computer processor, a request that the biometric device be sent to the user of the biometric device upon the receipt of the identifier of the biometric device and user information; receiving, on the computer processor, the identifier of the biometric device and one or more authenticators from the user; initiating, with the computer processor, a registration of the user based on the receipt of the identifier of the biometric device and the one or more authenticators from the user; and receiving, on the computer processor, biometric data of the user from the biometric device to complete a registration of the user in the biometric system.
SYSTEMS, METHODS AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCTS FOR DETECTING INDIVIDUALS WITH FEVER IN VIEW OF ACUTE INFECTION OF THE INDIVIDUAL
A method for detecting a plurality of persons with fever including acquiring a first image by a camera, the first image including a first image data of at least a first person, acquiring a second image by a thermal imaging camera, wherein the second image includes a second image data of the first person and a temperature reference apparatus in an infrared spectrum, the second image, at least in sections, has an identical image area as the first image, superimposing the first image and the second image to form a third image, wherein the third image includes a third image data of the first image and the second image, determining a first measurement point within the first image data of the first image, and determining a first temperature for the first measurement point based on the third image and the second image data of the temperature reference apparatus.
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image processing device according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes: at least one memory storing a set of instructions; and at least one processor configured to execute the set of instructions to: receive a visible image of a face; receive a near-infrared image of the face; adjust brightness of the visible image based on a frequency distribution of pixel values of the visible image and a frequency distribution of pixel values of the near-infrared image; specify a relative position at which the visible image is related to the near-infrared image; invert adjusted brightness of the visible image; detect a region of a pupil from a synthetic image obtained by adding up the visible image the brightness of which is inverted and the near-infrared image based on the relative position; and output information on the detected pupil.
VEHICLE MONITORING SYSTEM
A vehicle monitoring system adapted to manage and monitor vehicles includes a management platform and a control device connected thereto and installed in each vehicle. The control device includes a processor where predetermined conditions set as standards of safe driving are stored, a camera lens set adapted to capture actual images, a storage unit adapted to store the captured images, and a reminding unit connected to the processor. The processor compares the captured images with the predetermined conditions, and a comparison result of each vehicle is sent to the management platform for recording and monitoring. If the captured images do not fulfill the predetermined conditions, an abnormal state is shown, and the reminding unit reminds the vehicle driver to reduce the incidence of traffic accidents. The management platform monitors the driving state of vehicles proactively according to the comparison result to enhance occupational safety and emergency response capability.
PATIENT POSITION MONITORING METHODS AND SYSTEMS
Methods and systems for monitoring a patient's position using non-contact patient monitoring systems are described. In some embodiments, depth sensing cameras are used to obtain depth images of a patient, wherein data can be extracted from the depth images and processed in various ways to make a determination as to the patient's position, including monitoring when and how often a patient changes position. Various alarms systems can also be integrated into the systems and methods described herein in order to alert clinicians regarding, for example, patients moving too infrequently, patients moving too frequently, or patients moving into undesirable positions in view of the condition being treated. AI-based patient monitoring systems used for determining patient position are also described.
Electronic device and method of estimating bio-information using the same
An electronic device for estimating bio-information is provided. According to one embodiment, the electronic device may include a pulse wave sensor configured to measure a pulse wave signal from an object; a magnetic field detector configured to detect a change in a magnetic field generated by a magnetic field source according to a change in a force exerted by the object to the pulse wave sensor; and a processor configured to acquire a contact pressure between the object and the pulse wave sensor based on the change in the magnetic field and obtain bio-information based on the pulse wave signal and the contact pressure.
RECOGNITION SYSTEM, RECOGNITION METHOD, RECOGNITION PROGRAM, AND COMPUTER-READABLE NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM
In an alcohol detection system, face authentication is performed on a person to be measured before an alcohol detection device starts measurement, and the success of the face authentication performed on the person to be measured triggers the acquisition of camera image information that are images of the face of the person to be measured continuously shot by a camera. In other words, when the face authentication performed on the person to be measured succeeds, the person to be measured starts alcohol detection and images of the face of the person to be measured are continuously shot during the measurement.
DIGITAL HEALTH ARCHITECTURE INCLUDING A VIRTUAL CLINIC FOR FACILITATING REMOTE PROGRAMMING
A digital healthcare architecture involving a cloud-based virtual clinic platform operative to facilitate remote therapy programming for one or more patients. Upon establishing a remote programming session involving a patient and a clinician, one or more functionalities including A/V session redirection, enablement of third-party participation, remote assistance, and privacy policy control may be effectuated depending on the user input.
