Methods and systems for assigning locations to devices
A location identification system analyzes information received corresponding to a device detected in a room of a patient. On detecting a location identification of the device, the system assigns the device to the location corresponding to the location identification. In embodiments, the system retrieves patient and care team information for the location. The location and patient and care team information may be communicated to a central video monitoring system.
COMPUTER BASED CONVOLUTIONAL PROCESSING FOR IMAGE ANALYSIS
Disclosed embodiments provide for deep convolutional computing image analysis. The convolutional computing is accomplished using a multilayered analysis engine. The multilayered analysis engine includes a deep learning network using a convolutional neural network (CNN). The multilayered analysis engine is used to analyze multiple images in a supervised or unsupervised learning process. The multilayered engine is provided multiple images, and the multilayered analysis engine is trained with those images. A subject image is then evaluated by the multilayered analysis engine by analyzing pixels within the subject image to identify a facial portion and identifying a facial expression based on the facial portion. Mental states are inferred using the deep convolutional computer multilayered analysis engine based on the facial expression.
Image recognition-based dosage form dispensers
This invention provides a dosage form dispenser, comprising a casing comprising a first portion adapted for insertion within an oral cavity of a subject and a second portion adapted to encase a dosage form dispensing mechanism located therewithin; at least one camera positioned on said second portion of said casing, further positioned to capture a field of view of a portion of a face of a subject, wherein said field of view comprises at least a portion of a base view of the nose of said subject; a dosage form dispensing mechanism; a microprocessor and associated memory for processing and storing user authentication information, comparing images relayed from said at least one camera to at least one stored user standard and providing authentication when a match is established; and an interface connected to said dispensing mechanism, which promotes dispensing said dosage form when said authentication has been obtained. Methods for dispensing a dosage form directly within an oral cavity of a subject in need thereof, using the dispensers are also described.
Systems and methods for monitoring and detecting symptoms of infectious conditions
Systems and methods may include a first monitoring device positioned at a first location to monitor a monitored environment; and a second monitoring device positioned at a second location to monitor the monitored environment, wherein the first and second monitoring devices calibrate each other based on respective fiducial markers; wherein the first and second monitoring devices each comprise a processor and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory storing a plurality of instructions, which when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform the operations of: detecting presence of the individual in the monitored environment; determining whether the condition of interest of the individual exceeds a determined threshold; based on the condition of interest of the individual exceeding the determined threshold, transmitting the condition of interest to a remote server to determine at least one of a social distancing breach and an identification of another person whom the individual contacted.
SYSTEM FOR DISTINGUISHING AN INDIVIDUAL HAVING ABNORMAL BODY TEMPERATURE
A system for distinguishing an individual having an abnormal body temperature includes an interface module receiving a visible light image and a thermal image, a determining module executing an image analysis process on the visible light image to recognize an individual in the visible light image and to determine position data of the individual, and a processing module obtaining a temperature value corresponding to the individual from the thermal image according to the position data. The processing module further determines whether the temperature value falls within a predetermined range of abnormal body temperature, and outputs a warning signal when it is determined that the temperature value falls within the predetermined range of abnormal body temperature.
Monitored Mobile Personal Substance Testing System
A system for testing an individual for illicit or other substances is described. The system operates in tandem with a mobile device (smartphone) application, which employs a camera of the mobile device to capture and record the self-administered specimen collection process for verification and rule compliance. The system guides the user through the process via on-screen prompts on the mobile device, and includes tracking of the collected specimen from the moment of collection until it is sealed in a tamper-proof container to be mailed for external testing at a lab. A breathalyzer may also be used with the system to test for the presence of alcohol in the user's body, the use of which is also monitored and recorded via the on-board camera of the mobile device for verification.
BIOMETRIC IDENTIFICATION IN MEDICAL DEVICES
The present disclosure describes systems, apparatus, and methods for collecting biometric data from a patient. In some cases, this biometric data can be collected during the course of an emergency encounter using a medical device. The medical device can also perform other functions, such as monitor patient vital signs, receive and record notes and textual information, communicate with other devices, and/or deliver a therapeutic treatment. The medical device can also be configured to record and/or maintain a patient record, and to embed the patient biometric data into the patient record for use in later confirming and/or determining an identity of the patient. Some embodiments can also collect biometric data relating to one or more caregivers of the patient, and to embed the caregiver biometric data into the patient record. This caregiver biometric data can be used to confirm and/or identify one or more caregivers in a patient record.
Vision protection method and systems thereof
A vision protection method is provided to ensure a viewer to rest his/her eyes after viewing on an electronic device for a certain period, wherein the eyesight protection method includes the steps of detecting at least one of eye activities of the viewer and working parameter of the electronic device in a working mode of the electronic device during the viewer is working on a current work displaying by the electronic device; switching the working mode of the electronic device to a resting mode when an abnormal eye activity of the viewer is detected; and switching the electronic device from the resting mode back to the working mode to resume the display of the current work of the electronic device. Therefore, the viewer is enforced to rest his/her eyes after every certain period.
Display control apparatus, display control method of display control apparatus, and eye gaze direction detection system
It is determined whether a driver is gazing at a gaze target object in the eye gaze direction, and the eye gaze of the driver is guided by changing a display mode of the gaze target object determined to be gazed at by the driver. Calibration of eye gaze direction detection information is accurately and promptly executed.
HEALTH MONITORING TELEVISION
The present disclosure relates to a health monitoring television, comprising: a physiological parameter acquisition device for acquiring a physiological parameter of a monitored object; a central processor for generating health monitoring information based on the acquired physiological parameter; and an information exhibition device for outputting the health monitoring information to a user.
