Designing garments that include brassiere cups can be challenging due to the natural fluctuation of a woman's breast size, as well as a possible disconnect between the size of her breasts and the size of the rest of her body. The high range of size variability places pressure on stores to stock inventories that include great ranges of sizes. This places an inventory risk to the store, since rarer sizes may never sell. The disclosed garment addresses these issues by including a fit-adjustable brassiere portion. The cups of the fit-adjustable brassiere portion include fit-modifying panels that increase their flexibility and elasticity. The rear side of the fit-adjustable brassiere portion includes a back adjuster with highly elastic regions that enables the brassiere portion to fit a broader range of chest sizes. Each of these features give the garment a more universal fit and enable stores to carry fewer sizes.

Disclosed herein are shaping garments designed to be worn underneath garments with low cut back lines. The shaping garment includes a space in the back shaping region on its rear side, such that the shaping garment is not visible beneath an ultra low-back special occasion garment. A removable back adjuster can be used to bridge the space to provide additional shaping support when ultra low-back mode is not required by the special occasion garment.

The undergarments include a primary material comprising a wick away material, the primary material defining a wearable undergarment; a plurality of pockets comprising the wick away material, wherein the plurality of pockets are attached to the wearable undergarment at positions that will contact an area on the wearer identified as routinely being irritated by the protective equipment; and a plurality of removable spacers comprising a secondary material, different from the primary material. The plurality of removable spacers are inserted into and/or removed from corresponding ones of the plurality of pockets. The plurality of removable spacers create space between the undergarment and the wearer of the undergarment to allow airflow and reduce heat trapping.

Each region of the garment may have a different level of compression. Higher levels of compression may provide support and alter the shape of the associated body part, while lower levels of compression may provide a smooth appearance without altering shape. By having selective compression levels for each region, the garment can smooth or shape different parts of the user's body in order to achieve a user's desired appearance, in addition to selectively providing different levels of support and increasing overall comfort and functionality.

A backless support bra for supporting a wearer's breasts utilizing cups and various straps particularly configured to provide an unobstructed view of the wearer's back, thus enabling the wearer to wear backless type garments over the inventive backless support bra. Some of the described versions of the backless support bra further support the wearer's breasts in a manner that provides an unobstructed view of the wearer's center chest area, thus enabling the wearer the wear a garment that has a low cut or plunging neckline.
