Transcutaneous analyte sensor systems and methods
Systems for applying a transcutaneous monitor to a person can include a telescoping assembly, a sensor, and a base with adhesive to couple the sensor to skin. The sensor can be located within the telescoping assembly while the base protrudes from a distal end of the system. The system can be configured to couple the sensor to the base by compressing the telescoping assembly.
Fluid infusion systems
A fluid infusion system includes a housing configured to be adhesively coupled to an anatomy of the user. The housing comprises a communication device configured to wirelessly communicate a physiological characteristic to a communication component of a fluid infusion device. The fluid infusion system includes a fluid flow path from the fluid infusion device into the anatomy of the user, and the fluid flow path is configured to extend from the housing for insertion into the anatomy of the user.
TRANSCUTANEOUS ANALYTE SENSORS AND MONITORS, CALIBRATION THEREOF, AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Systems and methods are provided to calibrate an analyte concentration sensor within a biological system, generally using only a signal from the analyte concentration sensor. For example, at a steady state, the analyte concentration value within the biological system is known, and the same may provide a source for calibration. Similar techniques may be employed with slow-moving averages. Variations are disclosed.
ANALYTE SENSOR
The present invention relates generally to systems and methods for measuring an analyte in a host. More particularly, the present invention relates to systems and methods for transcutaneous measurement of glucose in a host.
DIFFUSION RESISTANCE LAYER FOR ANALYTE SENSORS
Disclosed are devices for determining an analyte concentration (e.g., glucose). The devices comprise a sensor configured to generate a signal associated with a concentration of an analyte and a sensing membrane located over the sensor. The sensing membrane comprises an enzyme layer, wherein the enzyme layer comprises an enzyme and a polymer comprising polyurethane and/or polyurea segments and one or more zwitterionic repeating units. The enzyme layer protects the enzyme and prevents it from leaching from the sensing membrane into a host or deactivating.
ANALYTE SENSOR AND ITS MANUFACTURING
This disclosure relates to an analyte sensor having a substrate, a working electrode, a second electrode and a membrane. The membrane is located on top of the second electrode. This disclosure further relates to a process for manufacturing the inventive analyte sensor as well as to an analyte sensor system having an analyte sensor according to this disclosure and an electronics unit. The analyte sensors according to this disclosure may be used for conducting an analyte measurement in a body fluid of a user.
ANALYTE SENSOR
The present disclosure relates generally to systems and methods for measuring an analyte in a host. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to systems and methods for transcutaneous measurement of glucose in a host.
Methods, Devices and Systems for Distinguishing Cancerous and Non-Cancerous Tissue
Provided herein are methods, devices and systems that distinguish between cancerous and healthy tissue.
TRANSCUTANEOUS ANALYTE SENSOR
The present invention relates generally to systems and methods for measuring an analyte in a host. More particularly, the present invention relates to systems and methods for transcutaneous measurement of glucose in a host.
Fluid delivery device, transcutaneous access tool and insertion mechanism for use therewith
Disclosed is a fluid delivery device including a fluid reservoir and a transcutaneous access tool fluidly coupled to the fluid reservoir, wherein the transcutaneous access tool includes a needle or a trocar. The fluid delivery device may further include a transcutaneous access tool insertion mechanism for deploying the transcutaneous access tool, wherein the insertion mechanism is configured to insert and retract the needle/trocar in a single, uninterrupted motion.
