BLOOD COLLECTION TUBE SORTING AND CENTRIFUGAL BALANCING DEVICE
Provided is a blood collection tube sorting and centrifugal balancing device including a body frame. A vacuum blood collection tube mechanism, a centrifugal balancing tube mechanism, a sorting mechanism, a scanning identification mechanism, a test tube transporting mechanism, and a collection box are arranged on the body frame. The vacuum blood collection tube mechanism and the centrifugal balancing tube mechanism are parallelly arranged on an upper part of the body frame. The scanning identification mechanism is connected to the vacuum blood collection tube mechanism. The sorting mechanism is connected to the vacuum blood collection tube mechanism and the centrifugal balancing tube mechanism at two ends of the sorting mechanism, respectively. The test tube transporting mechanism is connected to the centrifugal balancing tube mechanism. The collection box is disposed in a middle part of the body frame and located directly below the vacuum blood collection tube mechanism.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COLLECTING AND PREPARING BIOLOGICAL SAMPLES FOR TESTING
A kit and a method are disclosed for collecting and preparing a biological sample for testing where the sample is to be mixed with a buffer prior to being tested.
BLOODLETTING SYRINGE, BLOODLETTING SYRINGE SYSTEM AND BLOODLETTING METHODS
A bloodletting syringe, including: a hollow needle that can be placed under skins, a barrel connected to the hollow needle, and a pump outlet being connected to the barrel, wherein the pump outlet is a one-way port. When pumping, the pump outlet is opened, air is pumped out of the barrel and hollow needle, when the pumping is stopped, the pump outlet is automatically closed; air pressure in the barrel becomes lower than the pressure outside of the barrel. The bloodletting syringe, bloodletting syringe systems and bloodletting methods of the present invention can be used to remove blood stasis in muscles and tissues safely and with great control by medical staff.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR DETECTION AND ACQUISITION OF BIOMARKERS
The present invention provides devices and methods for detecting and capturing molecular biomarkers from a subject in situ. Specifically, the devices contain an array of microneedles to which are attached probes specific for one or more biomarkers of interest. The devices can be used directly on a subject (e.g., via skin piercing) in detecting the biomarkers in the body of the subject (e.g., tissues, blood stream).
TUBULAR INSTRUMENT HAVING A DYNAMIC TIP AND RELATED DEVICES AND METHODS
A delivery device to deliver a tubular instrument into a catheter extending distally from a catheter adapter. The delivery device may include a housing configured to couple to the catheter adapter. The delivery device may include a tubular instrument configured to insert through the catheter. The tubular instrument may include a distal end, a proximal end, and a lumen extending between the distal end and the proximal end. The distal end may include a distal tip, which may be closed. The proximal end may be secured within the housing. The tubular instrument may be configured to advance distally with respect to the housing. The delivery device may include a pressure-sensitive valve disposed at the distal tip or within the distal end. The pressure-sensitive valve may be configured to move from the closed position to an open position in response to a predetermined vacuum pressure level within the lumen.
Methods and devices for collecting body fluids
The present invention comprises methods and devices for collection of fluids, including cells and cellular materials, from the uterus. A device of the present invention comprises a central tubing member to which, at least, a flexible tubing member and an absorbable member are connected at least at one point. The absorbable member is connected to at least one portion of the central tubing member and to at least one portion of the flexible tubing member. The devices of the present invention are useful in methods of collection of uterine fluids, including blood, cells and cellular material.

ENCLOSED DESORPTION ELECTROSPRAY IONIZATION PROBES AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
The invention generally relates to enclosed desorption electrospray ionization probes, systems, and methods. In certain embodiments, the invention provides a source of DESI-active spray, in which a distal portion of the source is enclosed within a transfer member such that the DESI-active spray is produced within the transfer member.
Surgical suction device that uses positive pressure gas
A surgical suction device that uses positive pressure gas is shown and described. The surgical suction device includes an air amplifier. The air amplifier includes a structure defining a generally cylindrical cavity having a first opening at a first end and a second opening at a second end. The cylindrical cavity is defined by an inner wall of the cavity. The air amplifier includes an annular opening in the inner wall near the first end. The annular opening defines a jet opening adapted to allow a pressurized gas to flow out of the annular opening such that a low pressure region is produced at the first end and an amplified flow is produced at the second end. The annular opening is further configured such that the pressurized gas enters the cavity at an angle with respect to the inner wall of the cavity that is towards the second end.
