Disposable articles, and, more particularly, a disposable undergarment including a product chassis configured to serve as a basis of a variety of disposable articles, including disposable underwear without an absorbent core, disposable underwear with an absorbent core designed for menstrual use, and disposable underwear or training pant with an absorbent core designed for incontinence use (adult and child). The product chassis is comprised of multiple sections including an elastomeric composite, containing stretch film, coupled to one another, each section is designed to provide stretch in a desired direction, thereby resulting in improved securement of the undergarment to a wearer for optimizing fit and comfort for the wearer, while reducing the risk of leakage as well as reducing the amount overall material required for producing the undergarment. Furthermore, the inclusion of an elastomeric composite can provide a smooth contoured fit to a wearer, thereby improving appearance and self-confidence for the wearer.

The invention generally relates to easily removable clothing that is intended for individuals with limited mobility. The invention further relates to easily and safely removable clothing for individuals that may be recovering from surgery or suffer from a disability which limits their physical mobility. The invention also relates to pull-tab systems that may be combined with clothing or accessories in order to facilitate easier and simpler removal and wear.

The present disclosure generally relates to an absorbent pad for use in a garment. The absorbent pad includes: a liquid impermeable barrier layer; a functional layer attached to the barrier layer, the functional layer comprising a liquid absorbent component; a liquid impermeable peripheral sealing element bonded to peripheries of the functional layer and barrier layer; and a peripheral attaching element having a first portion and a second portion, the first portion bonded to the peripheral sealing element. The second portion of the peripheral attaching element is detached from the peripheral sealing element and is arranged to be attached to a fabric body of the garment, thereby attaching the absorbent pad to the garment.

The undergarments include a primary material comprising a wick away material, the primary material defining a wearable undergarment; a plurality of pockets comprising the wick away material, wherein the plurality of pockets are attached to the wearable undergarment at positions that will contact an area on the wearer identified as routinely being irritated by the protective equipment; and a plurality of removable spacers comprising a secondary material, different from the primary material. The plurality of removable spacers are inserted into and/or removed from corresponding ones of the plurality of pockets. The plurality of removable spacers create space between the undergarment and the wearer of the undergarment to allow airflow and reduce heat trapping.

A barrier garment apparatus and methods of its use are provided. In an embodiment, the barrier garment apparatus is shaped like an undergarment and worn during oral-vaginal and/or oral-anal sex to protect another person's mouth, lips, tongue, saliva, nose, and breath from contact with the wearer's vulva, perineum, anus, and surrounding areas, in order to prevent the transmission of bacteria, sexually transmitted infections, fluids, tastes, and scents. The barrier garment apparatus is thin, substantially non-porous, elastic, effectively skin-tight, and aesthetically attractive. The barrier garment apparatus can be, for example, a device, a panty, a boyshort, a short, a lingerie item, a barrier, a garment, an undergarment, a membrane, a prophylactic, and/or a system.

A barrier garment apparatus and methods of its use are provided. A lower torso garment (220) includes a body portion (104), a front pouch (106) disposed about a front region of the body portion, and a support sling connected to the front pouch and configured to support the front pouch. The support sling includes a left fabric panel (224) extending along a left side periphery (112a) of the front pouch and a right fabric panel (226) extending along a right side periphery (112b) of the front pouch.
