Toner
The toner comprising a toner particle containing a binder resin and a colorant, an iron oxide particle and an organic-inorganic composite fine particle, wherein the organic-inorganic composite fine particle comprises a vinyl resin particle, and inorganic fine particles which are embedded in the vinyl resin particle, and at least a part of which is exposed at surface of the organic-inorganic composite fine particle; the organic-inorganic composite fine particle has convexes derived from the inorganic fine particles, and wherein: a coverage ratio of the surface of the organic-inorganic composite fine particle with the inorganic fine particle is 20-70%; and the content of the iron oxide particle present on a surface of the toner particle is 0.1-5.0 mass % based on the mass of the toner particle.
TONER
Provided is a toner having a toner particle that contains a binder resin and a magnetic particle, wherein the magnetic particle satisfies the following stipulations (i) to (iii): (i) the magnetic particle has a prescribed shape and has a protruded portion on a plane portion thereof, (ii) the magnetic particle has a core particle that contains magnetite and has a coating layer, and (iii) the coating layer contains an iron-containing oxide and at least one of a silicon-containing oxide and an aluminum-containing oxide. In a molecular weight distribution measured on the tetrahydrofuran-soluble matter of the toner, the ratio (Mw/Mn) of a weight-average molecular weight to a number-average molecular weight is at least 10.0.
Toner compositions for magnetic ink character recognition
MICR toner compositions for use in offset lithography (or offset printing). Such MICR toner compositions exhibit desirable magnetic properties.
Toner using small-particle size magnetic iron oxide
Provided is a magnetic toner which exhibits a high degree of blackness and high tinting strength, and in which scraping of a toner carrying member surface by the magnetic toner is not caused, and image defects such as fogging and tailing are suppressed. A magnetic toner comprising a magnetic toner particle that contains a binder resin and a magnetic iron oxide particle, wherein, the number-average particle diameter of the magnetic iron oxide particle ranges from 0.05 m to 0.15 m, and a relationship between the number-average particle diameter (m) of the magnetic iron oxide particle and the specific surface area (m.sup.2/g) of the magnetic iron oxide particle satisfies Expression (1) below.

Magnetic toner
A magnetic toner including: magnetic toner particles containing a binder resin, a magnetic body, and a release agent; and inorganic fine particles present on the surface of the magnetic toner particles, wherein the inorganic fine particles present on the surface of the magnetic toner particles contain metal oxide fine particles, the metal oxide fine particles containing silica fine particles, and optionally containing titania fine particles and alumina fine particles, and a content of the silica fine particles being at least 85 mass % with respect to a total mass of the silica fine particles, the titania fine particles and the alumina fine particles, wherein the magnetic toner has a coverage ratio A of the magnetic toner particles' surface by the inorganic fine particles and a coverage ratio B of the magnetic toner particles' surface by the inorganic fine particles fixed to the magnetic toner particles' surface that reside in prescribed numerical value ranges; the binder resin contains a styrene resin; the release agent contains a monoester compound or a diester compound; and the softening temperature and softening point of the magnetic toner reside in prescribed temperature ranges.
Toner
A toner is provided including large particle-diameter external additives with sweep to the concaves of a toner particle suppressed, so that the large particle-diameter external additives function as spacer particles for a long period. The toner includes toner particles which contain a binder resin and magnetic material, and organic-inorganic composite fine particles having a structure including inorganic fine particles embedded in a vinyl resin particle. The presence state of the magnetic material on the toner particle surface satisfies specific conditions and the presence state of the organic-inorganic composite fine particles on the toner surface satisfies specific conditions.
Toner
A magnetic toner is provided that exhibits an excellent dot reproducibility and developing performance after being allowed to stand in a high temperature and high humidity environment and an excellent low-temperature fixability. The magnetic toner has an inorganic fine powder and a magnetic toner particle containing a binder resin, a magnetic body, and a release agent, wherein in a stress relaxation measurement using a rotating plate rheometer, the magnetic toner exhibits a yield value A at 25 C. of at least 310.sup.6 (sec), and the magnetic toner that has been heated to 80 C. and then cooled to 25 C. exhibits a yield value B at 25 C. of not more than 110.sup.5 (sec).
Magnetic toner
A magnetic toner comprising a toner particle comprising a binder resin and a magnetic body, wherein the binder resin comprises a styrene-acrylic resin, the styrene-acrylic resin comprises a monomer unit represented by Formula (1): ##STR00001## where, in Formula (1), R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and R.sup.2 represents a linear alkyl group having C.sub.B carbon atoms, C.sub.B being an integer from 10 to 15; the magnetic body comprises an alkyl group having C.sub.M carbon atoms, on a surface of the magnetic body, C.sub.M being an integer from 4 to 20; C.sub.B and C.sub.M satisfy Formula (3):
|C.sub.MC.sub.B|10(3), and in a cross-sectional observation of the magnetic toner using a transmission electron microscope, a coefficient of variation of an occupied area ratio of the magnetic body in a specific square grid, is 80.0% or lower.
MAGNETIC ONE-COMPONENT TONER
Magnetic one-component toner has toner particles including: a toner base particle containing at least a binder resin and a magnetic powder, and an external additive attached to its surface. The toner base particle includes as a ferroelectric material a metal titanate and the dielectric constant of the toner base particle is 8.0 [F/m] or more but 12.0 [F/m] or less.
