ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER, ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPER, AND TONER CARTRIDGE
An electrostatic charge image developing toner includes a toner particle that contains a pyrazolotriazole-based dye and a zirconium oxide particle.
Image formation apparatus for forming image using metallic developer and sublimation dyeing developer and method of producing coloring medium using same
An image formation apparatus according to an embodiment may include: a first image formation section configured to form a first image of a developer containing a lustrous pigment; a second image formation section configured to form a second image of a dyeing developer; and a transfer section configured to transfer the first image and the second image on a medium such that the first image and the second image are stacked to each other on the medium.
TONER SET
A toner set and an image forming method, both of which can print a full-color image that is superior in gradation and color reproducibility of an image including a higher-order color and superior in continuous printing durability. When one color toner selected from the group consisting of the color toners included in the toner set is defined as a first toner and other color toners are defined as second toners, an internal friction angle θ1 (°) of the first toner and an internal friction angle θ2 (°) of each of the second toners satisfy relationships represented by the following formulae (1) and (2), and a first image developed with the first toner and second images developed with the second toners are transferred in this order on a recording medium or a transfer medium to form an image including a higher-order color:
θ1<θ2 Formula (1):
1°≤θ2−θ1≤3°. Formula (2):
PHOTOLUMINESCENT TONER, ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPER, AND TONER CARTRIDGE
A photoluminescent toner includes a photoluminescent toner particle that contains a binder resin, a release agent, and a photoluminescent pigment and has a release agent domain, and a silicone oil-treated silica particle that is externally added to the photoluminescent toner particle, in which in observation of a cross section of the photoluminescent toner particle, an average major axis length Dw of the release agent domain and an average major axis length Dp of the photoluminescent pigment satisfy Expression (1).
0.3≤Dw/Dp≤1.0 Expression (1):
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes plural image forming units and a controller. The plural image forming units are configured to form images of colors using colorants, respectively. The controller is configured to perform control such that the plural images formed by the plural image forming units are output as one image onto a recording medium. At least two of the image forming units are configured to form images using colorants of special colors, respectively and are arranged in succession.
ELECTROSTATIC PRINTING METHOD
A method of printing a toner, including: rotating a cylinder having a printing plate with a fixed pattern; transferring a toner from a vessel onto the fixed pattern of the printing plate, in which the toner includes a pigment with a metallic reflective layer; and transferring the toner onto a substrate; in which the fixed pattern defines select portions of an image; and in which the toner correlates to the selected portions of the image is disclosed.
Image forming method, post-processing device, and adjusting device
An image forming method includes supplying powder having metallic luster on a resin image arranged on a recording medium, wherein a color value of the resin image and a color value of the powder on the recording medium satisfy the following Equation (1):
{(L*.sub.p−L*.sub.i−40).sup.2+(a*.sub.p−a*.sub.i).sup.2+(b*.sub.p−b*.sub.i).sup.2}.sup.1/2≤20 (1)
wherein
L*.sub.p, a*.sub.p, and b*.sub.p represent color values of the powder, and
L*.sub.i, a*.sub.i, and b*.sub.i represent color values of the resin image on the recording medium.
Electroluminescent Cells
An electroluminescent cell can comprise a first electrode; a second electrode; and an electroluminescent layer disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The second electrode can comprise a light-transmitting electrode layer that can comprise electrically conductive regions interspersed by light-transmitting regions. The light-transmitting regions can have higher light-transmissivity than the electrically conductive regions.
PHOTORESPONSIVE COMPOUND
Provided is a compound that is fluidized by light irradiation and reversibly non-fluidized, is not significantly colored, and improves fixability and exhibits excellent image stability and color reproducibility when used for a toner.
Provided is a compound represented by the following general formula (1), which is fluidized by light irradiation and reversibly non-fluidized:
##STR00001##
wherein
Z.sub.1 and Z.sub.2 are CH or N, and Z.sub.1≠Z.sub.2;
R.sub.1 is an aromatic hydrocarbon group having a substituent R.sub.a selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group, an alkoxy group and a halogen atom at each of two ortho positions with respect to Z.sub.1; and
R.sub.2 is a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic heterocyclic group.
IMAGING SYSTEM WITH GLOSS TREATMENT DEVICE
An imaging system includes a toner image forming device and a gloss treatment device. The toner image forming device accommodates a color toner that forms a color toner image on a printing medium, and which accommodates a clear toner that forms a clear toner image on the printing medium. The clear toner has a wax content that is lower than a wax content of the color toner. The gloss treatment device melts the clear toner on the printing medium to apply gloss treatment to the printing medium including the color toner image and the clear toner image.
