The determination unit determines a printing method to be executed among a plurality of printing methods including a first printing method for drawing an image having a density and a second printing method for drawing an image having a density that is higher than the density of an image printed by the first printing method. Where the print setting is acquired by the acquisition unit, the determination unit determines whether to permit execution of printing by the second printing method based on the print setting acquired by the acquisition unit.

An example user terminal apparatus includes a display, a communication apparatus to communicate with an external apparatus, and a processor to, based on information on a possible first toner refill quantity of a plurality of grouped image forming apparatuses provided from the external apparatus through the communication apparatus and a toner quantity of one toner refill apparatus, control the display to display a guide message including information on the time point of toner refill, each of the image forming apparatuses which is a subject of toner refill within the group, and a possible second toner refill quantity of each of the image forming apparatuses at the time point of toner refill.

A display device that allows a user to easily move an icon across tabs and freely change the order of the icon in the tab of a movement destination is provided. A system in an embodiment includes an image forming apparatus, an erasing apparatus, a first apparatus, and a display unit. The image forming apparatus forms an image on a sheet using a decolorable color material. The erasing apparatus decolorizes an image. The first apparatus computes, from a reduction in the number of sheets achieved by a setting for image formation in the image forming apparatus, the amount of a reduction in environmental burdens achieved by use of the image forming apparatus and computes, from the number of sheets erased by the erasing apparatus, the amount of a reduction in environmental burdens achieved by use of the erasing apparatus. The display unit simultaneously displays the amount of the reduction in environmental burdens achieved by the image forming apparatus and the amount of the reduction in environmental burdens achieved by the erasing apparatus.

An image forming apparatus includes an image processor configured to perform image processing on image data based on a conversion condition to output converted image data; an image forming unit configured to form an image based on the converted image data output from the image processor, the image forming unit being controlled based on an image forming condition; and a controller configured to perform tone correction control, density evenness control, and total density control, which is a combination of the tone correction control and the density evenness control. In the tone correction control, the controller controls the image forming unit to form a test image on a sheet and obtains reading data related to the test image on the sheet.

An image forming apparatus includes: a main casing; a drum cartridge; a toner cartridge; a display; and a controller. The drum cartridge is attachable to and detachable from the main casing. The drum cartridge includes a photosensitive drum and a drum memory. The toner cartridge is attachable to and detachable from the drum cartridge. The toner cartridge includes a toner memory. The controller is configured to: determine whether an error occurs in the drum cartridge through a communication with the drum memory; determine whether an error occurs in the toner cartridge through a communication with the toner memory; and when determining that an error occurs in the drum cartridge and determining that an error occurs in the toner cartridge, display on the display an error relating to the drum cartridge in preference to displaying on the display an error relating to the toner cartridge.

An image forming system includes an image forming apparatus and a first storage unit that stores registree information of users registered to work on the image forming apparatus. The image forming apparatus includes a processor programmed to determine whether or not work needs to be performed on the image forming apparatus by a worker based on a predetermined condition, obtain presence information of a registree from a second storage unit, the presence information indicating the presence state of the registree, identify one or more registrees associated with the work to be done, in a case where work needs to be done on the image forming apparatus by a worker, and upon determining that one or more registrees is present, perform a notification process that notifies one of the present registrees that work needs to be done on the image forming apparatus.

An information processing apparatus which communicates with an image forming apparatus that forms an image on a sheet, the information processing apparatus includes: an acquisition unit configured to acquire error information about an error that has occurred in the image forming apparatus, and maintenance information about maintenance work performed on the image forming apparatus; a memory configured to store a plurality of pieces of error information acquired by the acquisition unit; and a controller. The controller is configured to: determine, from the plurality of pieces of error information stored in the memory, based on the maintenance information, first error information about an error that has occurred during the maintenance work; and determine an error part of the image forming apparatus based on second error information obtained by excluding the first error information from the plurality of pieces of error information stored in the memory.

An image processing apparatus including a display unit includes a processor and a memory storing instructions, when executed by the processor, causing the image processing apparatus to function as a detection unit that detects occurrence of a sheet jammed inside the image processing apparatus and a display control unit that displays a screen based on detection of the occurrence of the jammed sheet. The screen includes a first region for displaying work that a user carries out to remove jammed sheets from inside the image processing apparatus and a second region for displaying work that the user carries out after removing the jammed sheets from inside the image processing apparatus.
