Provided herein are clinical evaluation and treatment as well as training protocols in virtual or augmented reality that create fully immersive environments, which enable real-time rendering for communication, specifically telecommunication, between two or more parties. In various embodiments, a virtual environment is provided to a first user at a first location. A first set of data comprising positional data of the first user is provided to a second user (e.g., an instructor) at a second location. An activity (e.g., a treatment or assessment protocol) may be received from the second user (e.g., an instructor) and the activity may be displayed to the first user via layering the activity over the virtual environment. An adjustment may be applied to the activity by the second user based on compliance of the first user with the activity protocols. Additional users at other locations may also receive the first activity from the second user.

A MEDICAL STATUS ANALYSIS SYSTEM AND METHOD
20240260876 · 2024-08-08 ·

A medical status analysis system, comprising a positionable sleeve a distributed array of pressure sensors arranged to detect a pressure applied to the sleeve; an inertial sensor arranged to detect an inertial measurement of an object; and a processor operable to detect an event of interest, by: receiving inertial input data; and determining that the event of interest has occurred and operable to detect a grip of a user on the sleeve; and analyse the grip of the user on the sleeve, by: receiving input data; determining a grip attribute based on the input data; and determining a medical status of the user based on the grip attribute. Finally, the processor is operable to output the medical status corresponding to the user. The medical status analysis system therefore preferably provides a user of the system with meaningful and interpretable data regarding their medical status.

Grip strength measurement apparatus

The present invention relates to a device for measuring grip strength including a basis; a cover coupled to the basis to form an enclosed pressure space separated from the outside; a cap disposed between the basis and the cover and configured to form a sensing space separated from the pressure space; magnets mounted on the cap or the basis to form a magnetic field; and a magnetic sensor for detecting change in the magnetic field. With this configuration, when measuring the grip strength of the user's hand, accuracy or sensitivity may be increased.
