Disclosed is an apparatus and method to train an autonomous driving model. The apparatus includes a driver information collection processor configured to collect driver information while a vehicle is being driven. The apparatus also includes a sensor information collection processor configured to collect sensor information from a sensor installed in the vehicle while the vehicle is being driven, and a model training processor configured to train the autonomous driving model based on the driver information and the sensor information.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR RESTORING AND DEVELOPING HAND FUNCTIONS
A device for restoring and developing hand functions, containing a hand trainer, a control component which interacts with the hand trainer, strain gauges, a unit for collection and pre-processing of data, a personal computer for collecting, processing and storing data, visual and auditory communication devices. It may additionally contain an adjustable means for accommodating a user, and a hand trainer, affixed to the aforesaid adjustable means with the ability to be adjusted in the horizontal plane from at least one side, which is provided with hand restraints. The technical result of solving the present problem consists in expanding the applicability of the device within developmental pedagogy, increasing the functional capabilities thereof in the field of medicine by means of determining dynamics for joint angles development and hand extensions, and in enhancing user quality of life.
Device and methods for mobile monitoring and assessment of clinical function through sensors and interactive patient responses
Methods and systems are disclosed for sensing and assessing a patients responses to tests using a device that may include tactile input, voice input, still image analysis, and responses to visual and auditory stimuli. In one example, a method includes obtaining interactive clinical assessment data using a remote client device and a computer-based control device, the method including providing on a display of a remote client device one or more test prompts for conducting an interactive clinical assessment, each displayed test prompt instructing a user to perform an action using the remote client device in response to the test prompt, and providing on the display of the remote client device one or more potential responses of actions that may be performed in response to the test prompt.
GLOVES WITH SENSORS FOR MONITORING AND ANALYSIS OF POSITION, PRESSURE AND MOVEMENT
Sensing devices including pliable e-textile pressure sensors are used in gloves intended to be worn against a user's hand, or a portion of a user's hand. Additional sensors, such as accelerometer(s), gyroscope(s) and geo-referencing sensor(s), may be incorporated in electronic devices that interface electronically with the pressure sensors and are mounted on or in proximity to a glove when in use. Systems and methods for storing, communicating, processing, analyzing and displaying data collected by sensor components for remote monitoring of conditions at hand surfaces, position and orientation data, movement data, and the like, are also disclosed. Sensors and sensor systems provide substantially real-time feedback relating to current body conditions, orientation and movement, and may provide notifications or alerts to users, coaches, etc., enabling early intervention when conditions indicate intervention is appropriate.
Pinch strength apparatus and methods thereof
An average coefficient of static friction between skin and paper is determined based on pinch-strength measurements and a corresponding maximum weight of bucket and water before slippage occurs. With the coefficient of static friction determined, a pinch-strength threshold for impairment uniquely determines the threshold for a weight of a pinch test apparatus using one or more common or household material(s), such as bucket and water. A patient using such apparatus at home can therefore put sufficient water in the bucket to reach this weight and see if they can lift the bucket or not, thereby determining whether or not impairment exists.
DETECTION AND EVALUATION OF USER GRIP WITH A HANDHELD TOOL
Techniques and mechanisms for detecting and evaluating grip by a user operating a handheld tool. In an embodiment, the tool includes a handle, one or more pressure sensors disposed in or on the handle, and an attachment arm. An output from the one or more sensors is generated while a user-assistive device is coupled to a distal end of an attachment arm of the tool. Logic of the tool calculates a grip metric based on the sensor output, and the tool transmits, based on the grip metric, a signal including medical diagnostic information. In another embodiment, the user-assistive device includes a utensil attachment or a personal hygiene attachment.
EARLY DEMENTIA RISK ASSESSMENT DEVICE
A device for assessing early dementia by testing gripping strength comprises a main member, a sensing member, and a control system. The main member has a display portion and a gripping portion. The sensing member is connected to the gripping portion to be pressed by a subject to generate a sensing signal. The control system is provided in the main member and having a control unit, a timer, a grip sensing module, and a determining module. The timer records a pressing time of the subject. The grip sensing module receives the sensing signal from the sensing members and generates a gripping strength signal according to the sensing signals. The determining module receives the pressing time and the gripping strength signal, and generates an assessing result by comparing the gripping strength signal with a gripping strength threshold and comparing the pressing time with a time threshold.
Analysis of body-side performance differences using activity-based data collection devices
Sensor data are obtained for an activity performed by a user. The sensor data include data from one or more sensors in one or more grips gripped by the user's left hand and the user's right hand during the activity. The sensor data are analyzed to identify a difference in performance of the activity between the left side of the user's body and the right side of the user's body. Feedback is provided to the user to compensate for the difference.
