IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND TONER REPLENISHMENT CONTROL METHOD IN IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
According to the image forming apparatus according to the present disclosure, when at least one of accumulation necessary replenishment times of two types of toner becomes equal to or greater than a toner replenishment threshold, replenishment of the one toner is performed. The replenishment of this one toner is performed for the accumulation necessary replenishment time of the one toner with a continuous replenishment allowable time as an upper limit. Thereafter, according to the accumulation necessary replenishment time of the other toner and the current accumulation necessary replenishment time of the one toner, the replenishment of the other toner is performed, the replenishment of the one toner is resumed, or the replenishment of both toners is brought into a stop state.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a casing, an image carrier unit, and a waste toner container. The image carrier unit is housed in the casing. The image carrier unit includes an image carrier on which an electrostatic latent image is formed. The waste toner container is housed in the casing. The waste toner container collects waste toner discharged from the image carrier unit. The image carrier unit is insertable or removable from one side in a first direction in the casing. The waste toner container is insertable or removable from another side of the first direction in the casing.
Toner container handle
A toner container according to one example embodiment includes a pivotable handle. The handle includes a front segment extending along a front of a body of the toner container when the handle is in a first position for contacting a corresponding pry surface in an image forming device when the handle moves from the first position to a second position. The handle includes a rear segment extending along a rear of the body when the handle is in the first position permitting a user to actuate the rear segment to move the handle from the first position to the second position. The handle includes a first side segment extending along the first side of the body and a second side segment extending along the second side of the body. The first and second side segments connect the front segment and the rear segment.
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR, PROCESS CARTRIDGE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a conductive substrate, a charge generation layer on the conductive substrate, a charge transport layer on the charge generation layer, and a protection layer on the charge transport layer, in which a ratio L/ of a total thickness L (m) of the charge transport layer and the protection layer to a dielectric constant (F/m) of the charge transport layer and the protection layer as a whole in a thickness direction is 3 or more and 6 or less.
Toner cartridge and laser printer
A toner cartridge is disclosed. A hole and a window are disposed on two sides of a cartridge body separately. A toner hopper is disposed in the cartridge body, and is configured to accommodate toner, and a supply opening exposed in the window is disposed at a position that is on the toner hopper and that faces the window. The first agitator is disposed in the toner hopper, and is configured to transport the toner in the toner hopper to the supply opening. A first hopper door is slidably disposed on a side that is of the toner hopper and that faces the window, a slot is disposed on the first hopper door, and the first hopper door may open or close the supply opening when sliding. The first clamping hook is disposed on the second side of the cartridge body.
Image forming apparatus having a rotary and detachable toner cartridges
An image forming apparatus includes a rotary including a developing roller, and a storage frame including a storage chamber to store toner to be supplied to the developing roller and an inlet opening communicating with the storage portion. In addition, a body frame has an opening and accommodates the rotary, and a toner cartridge includes a toner frame including a toner storage hollow storing the toner and a discharge opening communicating with the toner storage hollow and is attachable to the rotary through the opening. The toner is supplied from the toner storage hollow to the storage chamber in a state in which the toner cartridge is at the attached position. A moving assembly driven by a driver moves the moving assembly to move the toner cartridge from the attached position to a retracted position and moves the toner cartridge from the retracted position to the attached position.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus to which a cartridge that stores developer is removably attachable includes a photosensitive member on which an electrostatic latent image is formed, a rotary including a storage unit that stores the developer supplied from the cartridge, and a developing member that forms a developer image by developing the electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive member using the developer stored in the storage unit, a moving device that moves the cartridge between an attachment position at which the cartridge is inside the rotary and a displaced position at which the cartridge is outside the rotary, a controller that controls the moving device, and a reading unit that reads an image formed on a recording material. The reading unit is positioned such that the reading unit does not overlap a trajectory of the cartridge along which the cartridge moves from the attachment position to the displaced position.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus to which a toner cartridge provided with a discharge opening is detachably mounted includes a rotary including a developing roller and an accommodating frame provided with a receiving opening, a main assembly frame, an openable member including a supporting surface and a restricting portion and movable to a closed position and an open position, and a supporting member. In a state that the toner cartridge is in a mounting position to the accommodating frame, the discharge opening and the receiving opening oppose each other. When the openable member is in the open position and the supporting member is in a taking-out position, the restricting portion engages with the supporting member so that the supporting member is supported by the accommodating frame and the supporting surface and so that movement of the supporting member in a direction away from the supporting surface is restricted.
