SURFACE ELECTRODE FOR PATIENT MONITORING
A surface electrode for patient monitoring includes a flexible substrate, a dry electrode on the substrate, and a wet electrode configured to contact an electrode gel in contact with a patient's skin. A conductive epoxy is arranged between the dry electrode and the wet electrode. The conductive epoxy is configured to protect the dry electrode from corrosion and transfer electrical potentials from the wet electrode to the printed dry electrode.
Wearable medical device with integrated blood oxygen saturation level device
Technologies and implementations for a wearable medical device (WMD). The technologies and implementations facilitate incorporating a blood oxygen saturation level device with the WMD. Additionally, the technologies and implementations include wearable cardioverter device (WCD) incorporating a blood oxygen saturation level device.
Holder apparatus of bio-signal device and method of assembling holder apparatus
A holder apparatus of a bio-signal device comprises a holder, which comprises a pocket for a bio-signal processing device, an extension with a hollow, the hollow and the pocket forming a continuous cavity through the holder, a connector, and an elastic seal with a hole. A shape of the elastic seal is matched with a shape of the hollow of the extension at an interface of the pocket, and the hollow and a shape of the hole is matched with a shape of the connector for sealing an interface between the connector and the holder while the connector and the elastic seal are within the hollow and the connector is in contact with the elastic seal. Sealant filler fills the hollow of the extension and is in physical contact with the connector, which is in the hollow against the seal, the elastic seal and the sealant filler allowing the connector to mate electrically with a counter-connector moved within the cavity in a direction from the pocket toward the hollow.
Systems, methods, and apparatus for enhanced headsets
In accordance with some embodiments, systems, apparatus, interfaces, methods, and articles of manufacture are provided for ascertaining aspects of a user, such as the user's identity, competence, health, and state of mind. In various embodiment, data is captured about a user via a headset worn by the user. Based on the data, a determination may be made about an aspect of the user, and the user may accordingly be granted or denied access to a resource.
PHYSIOLOGICAL SENSING DEVICE
A physiological sensing device is provided, including an electronic component, a coupled sensing electrode, a coupling dielectric layer, and a wire layer. The coupled sensing electrode is configured to sense a physiological signal of an object, wherein there is a capacitance value between the object and the coupled sensing electrode. The coupling dielectric layer is disposed under the coupled sensing electrode, so that the capacitance value is between 1 nF and 10 nF. The wire layer is electrically connected to the electronic component and the coupled sensing electrode.

Gel distribution apparatus and method
A gel distribution apparatus can include modules so that each module is connected to a respective sensor of a sensor array included in headgear. Each module can be configured to facilitate the distribution of a gel onto a scalp of a patient to permit deployment of the gel at locations on the head of a patient near the sensor to which the module is adjacently positioned or attached. The modules can each include at least one flange to permit a user to pull the module away from the scalp while also pressing a compressible gel reservoir of the module toward the scalp for directing the gel onto the scalp. The pulling force can help counteract internal pressure generated from compression of the reservoir to expel the gel so that the gel flows along a desired gel flow path without excessive back pressure.
TWELVE-LEAD ELECTROCARDIOGRAM USING A REDUCED FORM-FACTOR MULTI-ELECTRODE DEVICE
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a small form factor ECG monitoring device that can acquire 3 standard ECG leads including a V-lead, does not require the use of adhesives for electrodes, and provides ECG data for a user on a near instantaneous basis. The ECG monitoring device can acquire leads I, II, and V2 (or any other V lead). The addition of a V-lead not only provides an additional channel of ECG data, but also adds another orthogonal cardiac field plane (the horizontal plane) thanks to the reference point formed by leads I and II. The ECG monitoring device may derive the augmented limb leads and subsequently generate a full 12-lead ECG. The ECG monitoring device may generate one or more diagnoses based on the full 12-lead set. The ECG monitoring device may provide an easy and non-invasive way for a person to take an ECG on the fly.
