A liquid jetting apparatus includes: a liquid jetting unit which jets liquid; a casing including a tank storing part in which a tank containing the liquid to be supplied to the liquid jetting unit is stored, and having an opening which allows the tank storing part to communicate with an outside of the casing; and a cover pivotally attached to the casing and selectively positioned in a closed position where the opening is closed and an opened position where the opening is open. The casing includes an engaging part which engages with the cover in the closed position to prevent the pivoting of the cover. The liquid jetting apparatus further includes a movement mechanism which moves the cover relative to the casing between an engagement position where the engaging part is engaged with the cover and a release position where the pivoting of the cover is not prevented.

A drawer, which is included in an electronic apparatus and an image forming apparatus, includes a drawing portion, a support shaft extending in a removing direction of the drawing portion, a handle at a downstream end of the support shaft, a locking portion at an upstream end of the support shaft, and a fixing body on the drawing portion. A rotation of the handle rotates the supporting shaft and the locking portion together between an unlocked state in which the drawing portion is fixed and a locked state in which the drawing portion is movable. The locking portion includes a fitting portion fitting to the fixing body in the locked state. The fitting portion includes a first wall extending from a root of the fitting portion, a second wall configured to contact the fixing body in the locked state, and a slanted portion inclined toward the removing direction.

An image forming apparatus includes: an LED print head exposing a photosensitive drum with light; a door arranged on one end side of the LED print head; a support portion for the LED print head operating in conjunction with opening and closing movements of the door, positioning the LED print head at a first position for exposing the photosensitive drum when the door is closed, and positioning the LED print head at a second position more apart from the photosensitive drum than the first position when the door is open; and a guide portion formed on the door and guiding a cleaning member to the LED print head, the guide portion having a first inclined surface which is lowered toward the LED print head so that the cleaning member is continuously held in contact with the LED print head under a state in which the door is open.

An image forming apparatus includes an openable/closable cover body in a main body. The cover body has a first cover member, a second cover member, an engagement member, an elastic body, and a support member. The support member rotatably supports the engagement member. The support member collides with the engagement member which is energized by the elastic body and is rotated when the cover body becomes in a closed state, to stop rotation of the engagement member. The support member is fitted on the first cover member separately from the second cover member.

An imaging device having a fuser and print engine architecture that enables complete interchangeability between fuser types with a common print engine. The imaging device has a frame configured to separately receive a first fuser assembly of a first fuser type and a second fuser assembly of a second fuser type different from the first fuser type. The first fuser assembly includes a first fuser frame having a first datum tab. The second fuser assembly includes a second fuser frame having a second datum tab. The frame of the imaging device has a datum aperture that is sized to receive the first datum tab that when inserted into the datum aperture, causes the first fuser assembly to be positioned at a first operative position, and the second datum tab that when inserted into the datum aperture, causes the second fuser assembly to be positioned at a second operative position.

A process cartridge is detachably mountable to a main assembly of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus. The cartridge includes an electrophotographic photosensitive drum, a developing roller, a drum unit containing the drum, a developing unit containing the roller and being movable so the roller contacts and is spaced from the drum, and a first force receiver receiving a force from a main-assembly first force applier by movement of a door from open to closed positions when mounting the cartridge and a second force receiver movable from a stand-by position by movement of the first force receiver by a force received from the first force applier. The second force receiver takes a projected position receiving a force from the second force applier to move the developing unit so the roller moves out of contact with the drum, the projected position being higher than the stand-by position.

An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus body, an outer cover, a conveyance unit, a movable roller, and an interlock mechanism. The outer cover is provided turnably between an outer closing position forming one surface of the apparatus body and an outer opening position in which the one surface of the apparatus body is set openable. The conveyance unit is provided turnably between an inner closing position in which an inside of the apparatus body is set closable and an inner opening position in which the inside of the apparatus body is set openable. The movable roller is pressed by a fixed roller pivotally supported inside of the apparatus body when the conveyance unit is displaced to the inner closing position. The interlock mechanism interlocks an operation of opening the outer cover with an operation of opening the conveyance unit.

An image forming apparatus includes a main assembly; an door openable and closable relative to the main assembly; a flexible connecting member connecting the door with the main assembly, the connecting member being slidable at least relative to one of the main assembly and the door, wherein the connecting member slides with opening of the door relative to the main assembly; a sliding member swingably supported by the main assembly or the door and slidable relative to the connecting member which slides. When the door is opened, the connecting member contacts, while sliding, a part of the sliding member on one side with respect to a center of swing to press the sliding member, so that the other side with respect to the center of swing of the sliding member urges the connecting member to an urged portion to retard the sliding movement of the connecting member.

A process cartridge is detachably mountable to a main assembly of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus. The cartridge includes an electrophotographic photosensitive drum, a developing roller, a drum unit containing the drum, a developing unit containing the roller and being movable so the roller contacts and is spaced from the drum, and a first force receiver receiving a force from a main-assembly first force applier by movement of a door from open to closed positions when mounting the cartridge and a second force receiver movable from a stand-by position by movement of the first force receiver by a force received from the first force applier. The second force receiver takes a projected position receiving a force from the second force applier to move the developing unit so the roller moves out of contact with the drum, the projected position being higher than the stand-by position.

An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus body including an opening portion, and an attachable/detachable unit configured to be attached to and detached from the apparatus body through the opening portion. The apparatus body includes an opening/closing member, a detection unit configured to detect a state of the attachable/detachable unit, and an interlocking mechanism configured to move the detection unit in an interlocked manner with a movement of the opening/closing member. The attachable/detachable unit includes a positioning portion. The detection unit includes a positioned portion configured to be engaged with the positioning portion. The detection unit is configured to move to a first position in which the positioned portion is engaged with the positioning portion, and to a second position retracted from the first position in the first direction such that the positioned portion is disengaged from the positioning portion.
