SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR POSITIONING A PATIENT WITHIN AN X-RAY APPARATUS
20210298695 · 2021-09-30 ·

Systems and methods for positioning a patient during radiological measurements are provided. A biofeedback signal from the patient is received. While receiving the biofeedback signal from the patient and while the patient is positioned at a first position by the fixture, determining whether the biofeedback signal from the patient is indicative of the patient breathing at rest. Further, in accordance with a determination that the biofeedback signal from the patient is not indicative of the patient breathing at rest, articulating the patient using the fixture from the first position to a second position. In accordance with a determination that the biofeedback signal from the patient at the second position is indicative of the patient breathing at rest, obtaining radiological measurements of the patient with the patient positioned at the second position.

ALERTNESS DETERMINATION FOR NON-ALERT DETECTION USING EAR-WORN ELECTRONIC DEVICES

Techniques to detect a non-alert state of a user may include receiving sensor data from an ear-worn electronic device disposed at least partially in the ear of a user, determining an alertness state of the user based on the sensor data, and providing alert data in response to the alertness state comprising a non-alert state to a user stimulation interface of the ear-worn electronic device or to an external device.

Wrinkle Repair System

Example inventions are directed to the repairing of a wrinkle area. Example inventions affix a patch externally on a dermis of a user so that the patch extends over the wrinkle area of the user, the patch comprising a flexible substrate, a processor directly coupled to the substrate, and electrodes directly coupled to the substrate. Example inventions activate the patch to initiate a treatment session, the activating comprising generating electrical stimuli via the electrodes that is directed at the wrinkle area.

OPTIMAL MULTI-ELECTRODE TRANSCUTANEOUS STIMULATION WITH HIGH FOCALITY AND INTENSITY

Methods, apparatus, and systems are disclosed for optimization techniques and a realistic 3D model to design optimal parameters for transcutaneous stimulation to achieve focalized stimulation of a target tissue such as the spinal cord, brain or other internal organ. The methods, apparatus, and systems include generation of a 3D model from a CT/MRI image, as well as an optimization algorithm that enables stimulation of any target location (e.g., on the dorsal root, or on the dorsal column) with any orientation at high precision.

Systems, apparatus, and method of monitoring a position of a joint. An inertial monitoring unit is configured to be coupled to a portion of a patient, such as a thigh. Another inertial monitoring unit is configured to be attached to another portion of the patient, such as a shank, that is connected to the other portion by a joint, such as a knee. The inertial monitoring units detect motion of their respective portions of the patient and transmit data indicative of this motion. These transmissions may be received by a computer and used to determine an orientation of the joint. The inertial monitoring units may also be coupled to vibration detection units and/or ultrasound modules that provide additional data regarding a condition of the joint.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GATHERING AND ANALYZING BIOMETRIC USER FEEDBACK FOR USE IN SOCIAL MEDIA AND ADVERTISING APPLICATIONS
20210196188 · 2021-07-01 ·

Systems and methods for measuring biologically and behaviorally based responses to social media, locations, or experiences and providing instant and continuous feedback in response thereto are disclosed. An example system includes a first sensor to determine an emotional response of a user exposed to a social media application, a second sensor to determine a current activity of the user, and a third sensor to determine an environment of the user. The example system also establishes a priority schedule based on the emotional response, the current activity, and the environment. The system also correlates, based on the priority schedule, an advertisement with at least one of the emotional response, activity, or the environment. In addition, the example system presents the advertisement based on the priority schedule and the correlation of the advertisement with the at least one of the activity, the environment, or the emotional response.
