INTELLIGENT NOTIFICATION DELIVERY
One embodiment provides a method, including: detecting, at an electronic device, an event has occurred; detecting, using a device sensor, that the electronic device is proximate to at least one other person; accessing, in a storage location, a rule set including a rule regarding the detecting that the electronic device is proximate to at least one other person; identifying, using a processor of the electronic device, a type of notification for the event based on the rule set; and providing, using an output device of the electronic device, a notification of the type identified. Other aspects are described and claimed.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF GENERATING CONTROL COMMANDS BASED ON OPERATOR'S BIOELECTRICAL DATA
The technical solution relates to control systems, more particularly to systems and methods of generating control commands based on operator's bioelectrical data. One more technical result of the present technical solution is the increase of identification accuracy of the Operator's actions. One more technical result of the present technical solution is the improvement of identification of the Operator's actions due to the elimination of artefacts from the Operator's bioelectrical data.
Wearable personal monitoring system
A system includes one or more sensors to detect activities of a mobile object; and a processor coupled to the sensor and the wireless transceiver to classify sequences of motions into groups of similar postures each represented by a model and to apply the models to identify an activity of the object.
ULTRA-LOW POWER, MINIATURIZED ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS FOR MONITORING PHYSICAL PARAMETERS WITH WIRELESS COMMUNICATION CAPABILITIES AND APPLICATIONS OF SAME
An electronic system for monitoring a physical parameter includes an ADM comprising an accumulation mode sensor for measuring the physical parameter by generating electrical energy associated with the physical parameter in response to a surrounding condition, and an energy storing device coupled to the accumulation mode sensor for accumulatively storing the generated electrical energy; a power source; and an SoC coupling with the ADM and the power source, configured such that the stored electrical energy is monitored, and when the stored electrical energy is equal to or greater than a pre-defined threshold, a wake-up event is generated to trigger the SoC to operates in a run mode in which the physical parameter is wirelessly transmitted to a receiver and the stored electrical energy in the energy storing device is discharged, and then the SoC returns to a sleep mode in which a minimal power is consumed.

STIMULATOR HANDPIECE FOR AN EVOKED POTENTIAL MONITORING SYSTEM
An evoked potential monitoring system including a control unit having stimulator circuitry and a probe assembly coupled to the control unit. The probe assembly includes a stimulus probe and a stimulator handpiece selectively coupled to the stimulus probe. The handpiece includes a handle, control circuitry, and a switch. The control circuitry is electrically coupled to the stimulator circuitry. The switch is electrically coupled to the control circuitry and extends to an exterior portion of the handle. In this regard, movement of the switch remotely controls the stimulator circuitry to continuously increment or decrement a stimulation energy level delivered to the stimulus probe over a series of discrete, incremental steps.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR EEG SIGNAL PROCESSING
A method for processing EEG signals includes reading the EEG signals from two frontal electrodes of an electroencephalograph (301); converting the EEG signals to a frequency domain (305); determining values of a BIS/BAS response on the basis of an asymmetry between the EEG signals (208). The method includes calculating the asymmetry between the EEG signals in the frequency domain in a frequency range from 26 to 29 Hz.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DISCOVERY AND CHARACTERIZATION OF NEUROACTIVE DRUGS
Systems and methods for discovery and characterization of neuroactive drugs are provided. In some aspects, a method for evaluating an effectiveness of a drug administered to a subject includes receiving neurophysiological data acquired from a subject under an administration of a drug, and analyzing the neurophysiological data to generate signatures indicative of brain states induced by the drug. The method also includes correlating the generated signatures with a database comprising information associated with a plurality of drug profiles, and determining, using the information, a molecular activity profile for the drug. The method further includes generating a report indicative of the effectiveness of the drug using the molecular activity profile.
Methods and Systems for Tremor Reduction
A tremor-reduction system is provided that delivers electric current to a body region of a subject that is associated with a tremor. A computing device stores received data associated with a tremulous movement of the body region and determines measurements associated with the stored data. If a magnitude of the most recent tremulous movement is the same as or greater than magnitudes associated with prior tremulous movements, characteristics of a subsequent electric current to be applied to the body region may be adjusted.
IMPAIRMENT DETECTION WITH BIOLOGICAL CONSIDERATIONS
A method and system for monitoring impairment indicators. The method includes, during a first time window, measuring a first movement signal related to movement of the person with a movement sensor associated with the person, and measuring a first biological signal of the person with a biological sensor attached to the person. The method further includes electronically storing at least one numerical descriptor derived from the first movement signal and at least one numerical descriptor derived from the first biological signal as reference data for the person. The method includes during a second time window, measuring a second signal related to movement of the person with the movement sensor, and measuring a second biological signal of the person with the biological sensor. The method further includes comparing at least one numerical descriptor derived from the second signal and at least one numerical descriptor derived from the second biological signal to the reference data to identify an impairment indicator.
