SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE FOR MEDICAL IMPLANT
Aspects of the subject matter described in this disclosure can be implemented in an implant device capable of being configured by an external hospital interrogator device when the external hospital interrogator device is authenticated, and capable of communicating data regarding a patient when paired with an external home interrogator device. The implant device includes RF communications circuitry, one or more sensors configured to measure and/or collect data regarding the patient, and a control system. The control system is configured to receive instructions from the external hospital interrogator device for configuring the implant device when the external hospital interrogator device is authenticated, and receive identification data from the external hospital interrogator device for pairing the implant device with the external home interrogator device.
METHODS FOR EVALUATING PATIENTS
Methods for evaluating subjects having conditions associated with loss of muscle function (e.g., a motor neuron disease, a neuromuscular disease, or a myopathy) by measuring muscle function (e.g., muscle strength) are disclosed.

Systems and methods for performing neurophysiologic monitoring during spine surgery
This disclosure describes a surgical instrument comprising a combination femoral nerve localizer and needle placement guide instrument. The instrument may be used with a neuromonitoring system to localize and monitor the femoral nerve during a spinal procedure.
METHOD AND APPARATUS OF PROVIDING DEGREE OF MATCH BETWEEN BIOSIGNALS
A method and an apparatus of providing a degree of match between biosignals are provided. A method of providing a degree of match between biosignals involves receiving biosignals corresponding to users, calculating a degree of match between the biosignals, and providing the calculated degree of match between the biosignals to one or more users.
TRANSCUTANEOUS ELECTRICAL SPINAL CORD NEUROMODULATOR AND USES THEREOF
In various embodiments electrical stimulators are provided for transcutaneous and/or epidural stimulation. In certain embodiments the stimulator provides one or more channels configured to provide one or more of the following stimulation patterns: i) monophasic electrical stimulation with a DC offset; ii) monophasic electrical stimulation with charge balance; iii) delayed biphasic electrical stimulation with a DC offset; iv) delayed biphasic electrical stimulation with charge balance; v) amplitude modulated dynamic stimulation; and/or vi) frequency modulated dynamic stimulation.

Epidermal Devices for Analysis of Temperature and Thermal Transport Characteristics
Provided are tissue-mounted devices and methods for monitoring a thermal transport property (e.g., thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity, heat capacity) of tissue, such as skin. The devices conformally mount to the tissue and have one or more thermal actuators and a plurality of sensors. The actuator applies heat to the tissue and the sensors to detect a spatio temporal distribution of a physiological tissue parameter or physical property resulting from the heating. This spatio temporal information may be correlated with a rate, velocity and/or direction of blood flow, the presence of a vascular occlusion, circulation changes due to inflammation, hydration level and other physiological parameters.

DETECTION OF PARALYSIS, WEAKNESS AND/OR NUMBNESS IN A PART OF A BODY OF A SUBJECT
There is provided a system (100) for detecting paralysis, weakness or numbness. A processor (102) acquires data obtained by a sensor (106) of a personal care device (104) used by a subject on a first part of their body and compares this data to reference data obtained by the sensor used by the subject on a second part of their body to determine whether the acquired data comprises an abnormality. The acquired data is indicative of a manner in which the subject used the device on the first part and/or a physiological property of that part. The reference data is indicative of a manner in which the subject used the device on the second part and/or a physiological property of that part. The processor detects paralysis, weakness or numbness in the first or a third part of the body of the subject when the acquired data comprises an abnormality.
