Augmented and virtual reality display systems and methods for diagnosing health conditions based on visual fields
Configurations are disclosed for a health system to be used in various healthcare applications, e.g., for patient diagnostics, monitoring, and/or therapy. The health system may comprise a light generation module to transmit light or an image to a user, one or more sensors to detect a physiological parameter of the user's body, including their eyes, and processing circuitry to analyze an input received in response to the presented images to determine one or more health conditions or defects.
Analytics and processing of biological signals from sensors
An information processing method is executed by a computer having a control unit, wherein the control unit executes: acquiring a plurality of biological signals; detecting for each predetermined time unit a peak part of the respective biological signals; attaching identical identification information to one or a plurality of peak parts forming an identical peak when attaching peak identification information to each of the biological signals; and extracting a combination of corresponding peaks from at least two biological signals on the basis of the identification information of each time unit of the at least two biological signals.

METHOD OF FABRICATING AN ELECTRODE STRUCTURE
The present disclosure provides a method of fabricating an electrode structure. The method provides an electrically insulating substrate having a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, and a plurality of through-holes, each through-hole extending across a thickness of the insulating substrate. The method further comprises extruding a material sequentially or simultaneously through at least some of the through-holes resulting in a plurality of elongate electrically conductive elements extending through and protruding from the through-holes at the first surface of the electrically insulating substrate. In addition, the method comprises forming a plurality of electrically conductive regions at the second surface of the electrically insulating substrate. Each electrically conductive region is located at a respective through-hole, whereby the electrically conductive regions are electrically coupled to the elongate electrically conductive elements.
Article comprising a temperature-conditioned surface, thermoelectric control unit, and method for temperature-conditioning the surface of an article
The present invention provides systems, methods, and articles for temperature conditioning a surface. An article is formed from a first layer having a plurality of openings and a second layer having a corresponding plurality of openings. At least one interior chamber constructed and configured to retain a fluid without leaking is defined between an interior surface of the first layer and an interior surface of the second layer. At least one flexible fluid supply line delivers the fluid to the at least one interior chamber. At least one flexible fluid return line removes the fluid from the at least one interior chamber. At least one control unit that is operable to selectively cool or heat the fluid is attached to the at least one flexible fluid supply line and the at least one flexible fluid return line.
Method for determining the risk of a user waking up in an undesirable state
A method is provided for measuring a wake up indicator, where the wake up indicator gives the likelihood of a user waking up undesirably. It is based on the knowledge that waking up during deep NREM sleep is not desirable due to sleep inertia and on the recognition that it is also undesirable to wake up during REM sleep due to atonia. A sleep inertia estimation is determined to estimate if the user is in NREM sleep and an atonia estimation is determined to estimate if the user is in REM sleep. The wake up indicator is determined from the sleep inertia estimation and the atonia estimation. The wake up indicator thus may be used as an indicator for the time when it is suitable to wake up the user in a way which avoids arousal from a deep sleep state or from REM sleep, during which atonia may arise.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING ELECTRICAL STIMULATION TO A USER
A method for providing electrical stimulation to a user, the method comprising: providing an electrical stimulation device, in communication with a controller, at a head region of the user; with the electrical stimulation device, providing a stimulation treatment having a waveform configured for neuromodulation in the user; with the controller, performing an adjustment to the stimulation treatment, wherein performing the adjustment includes: generating a transformed waveform with application of a transfer function to the waveform, wherein the transfer function scales the waveform and selectively attenuates extreme waveform values while maintaining a frequency characteristic of the waveform in the transformed waveform; and applying the transformed waveform with the electrical stimulation device, thereby modulating the stimulation treatment.
Calculating a score of a degree of arousal of a user
To reduce errors in determining a degree of arousal due to variations in blinking among an individual or between individuals. To execute the steps of: acquiring first biological information related to an ocular potential of a user from a processing device worn by the user; and calculating a degree of arousal of the user based on a distance between a projection axis parallel to an equal degree of arousal line and a point where the first biological information is plotted in a coordinate space where a height and width are the axes for an ocular potential peak.
