SCREENING OF INDIVIDUALS FOR A RESPIRATORY DISEASE USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
20220104725 · 2022-04-07 ·

An artificial intelligence-based system and method for scalable screening of individuals for respiratory infection, such as COVID-19. The system is trained to distinguish distinct latent features of cough sounds produced by a COVID-19 infected person from cough sounds produced by patients suffering from any other respiratory infection or involuntary cough sounds produced by a healthy person. Cough sound samples from individuals can be remotely collected and evaluated by the system for likelihood of the COVID-19 infection. Additionally, images of affected body parts, biomarkers, metadata, and other respiratory sound samples can also be used for screening.

20220110591 · 2022-04-14 ·

The present invention falls within the field of medical diagnosis, more particularly in the field of computational methods for headache diagnosis.

In short, the invention consists of an intelligent headache management system that comprises a plurality of remote modules connected with at least one analysis module, the remote modules being responsible for the collection of information related to the user and said information collection is carried out by at least one information collection device connected to said remote module. The information is transmitted to an analysis module, which comprises means to store and process the information transmitted by the remote module. The results from the computational processing of said information are transmitted to at least one remote module, being available to the user. The remote module comprises information collection devices for the collection of information actively provided by the user and for the automatic collection of information from the user and comprises stimulus devices for the emission of sensory stimuli to provoke biological responses from the user.

NON-INVASIVE AND NON-CONTACT MEASUREMENT IN EARLY THERAPEUTIC INTERVENTION
20210321933 · 2021-10-21 · ·

Systems and methods for non-invasive and/or non-contact measurement of a subject's tremor in the context of therapeutic intervention is presented. The system includes a memory, a communications interface, a sensor to measure a signal associated with position or motion of an extremity of the subject, and a processor. The processor is configured to receive the signal from the sensor. The processor is further configured to communicate, via the communications interface, the signal, login credentials, and position or motion data to a remote server coupled to a remote electronic health record database. The remote server is configured to receive the signal from the sensor. The processor is configured to receive an analysis that quantified the severity of tremor.

Method for Solid Water Particles Treatment of Eye, Ear, and Nose Ailments
20210315734 · 2021-10-14 ·

A method for solid water particle treatment of eye, ear, and nose ailments detects and treats ailments in the eyes, ears, and nose through a procedure of capturing infrared images of the Meridian pathway near the eyes, ears, or nose, and then administering a solid water particle solution to help repair the Meridian pathway. The efficacy of the solid water particle solution is determined by capturing an initial image and a subsequent image of the Meridian pathway near the eyes, ears, or nose. The skin temperature of both images is visually indicated in a thermal coloring or white-hot spot. If the temperatures detected in the subsequent infrared images decrease, the Meridian pathway of the eyes, ears, or nose is improving. Thus, the status of the eyes, ears, or nose is determined based on changes in skin temperature at the Meridian pathway approximate to the eyes, ears, or nose.

Chemosensory disorder trigger and management system

A system for chemosensory disorder testing includes a scanner for scanning a unique identifier associated with a test subject. A scent dispensing unit dispenses a predetermined scent for the test subject responsive to receipt of a dispensing control signal. A user interface receives a test response input from the test subject based on a perception of the test subject of the predetermined scent dispensed by the scent dispensing unit. A central controller generates the dispensing control signal responsive to the unique identifier scanned by the scanner. The central controller further determines at least one of a pass test result or a fail test result responsive to a comparison of the test response input to a predetermined response associated with the predetermined scent. A relational database stores the pass test result or the fail test result at a location associated with the unique identifier associated with the test subject.

APPARATUS, METHOD, AND SYSTEM FOR TESTING HUMAN OLFACTORY SYSTEMS

An apparatus, module, methods and systems for automated, standardized assessment and analysis of a human olfactory system's odor detection ability as an indicator or predictor of cognitive impairment or change in cognitive health, and other health conditions such as diabetes. Notably, the present invention is operable for use across all age groups of humans and provides quantitative detection and analysis of a human olfactory system's detection ability compared to a relevant demographic population.
