Systems and methods for quantification of postural balance of users in an augmented reality environment
Systems and methods for quantification of postural balance of users in an augmented reality (AR) environment. Traditional systems and methods provide for quantifying the postural balance using the AR environment but none of them quantify or restrict the functional tasks performed by the users to a predefined level. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for the quantification of the postural balance with a variable step height in the AR environment by acquiring first set of information comprising of data on skeletal joints, filtering the first set of information for obtaining a filtered set of data, computing the set of postural data based upon the filtered set of data and quantifying the postural balance based upon the set of postural data by computing threshold values for obtaining postural stability index scores and determining based upon the postural stability index scores, the postural balance of the users in the AR environment.
Method and system for monitoring intoxication
A method and system for monitoring a user's intoxication including receiving a set of signals, derived from a set of samples collected from the user at a set of time points; providing a sobriety task to the user proximal to a time point of the set of time points; generating a performance dataset characterizing performance of the sobriety task by the user; receiving a supplementary dataset characterizing a demographic profile of the user and/or a physiological state of the user; determining a set of values of an intoxication metric, derived from the set of signals; generating a predicted temporal profile of the intoxication metric for the user based upon the set of values, the set of time points, and the supplementary dataset; generating an analysis of the user's sobriety based upon the performance dataset and the predicted temporal profile; and providing a notification to the user based upon the analysis.

Systems and Methods for Monitoring Subjects in Potential Hypoxic Distress
A method of monitoring a subject for the risk of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) includes obtaining real-time pulse arterial oxygen saturation (SpO.sub.2) measurements from the subject. The SpO.sub.2 measurements are transformed into a novel metric known as Accumulated Hypoxic Debt (AHD). The AHD metric is used as the independent variable in a longitudinal generalized linear mixed model to calculate the probability D that the subject is at risk of AMS. Based on the probability D, appropriate courses of action may be communicated to the subject via the output device of a wearable or portable monitor.
Force measurement system
A force measurement system is disclosed herein. The force measurement system includes a force measurement assembly configured to receive a subject thereon, and one or more data processing devices operatively coupled to the force measurement assembly. In one or more embodiments, the one or more data processing devices are configured to receive one or more signals that are representative of forces and/or moments being applied to the top surface of the force measurement assembly by the subject, and to convert the one or more signals into output forces and/or moments, and the one or more data processing devices are further configured to determine a type of balance strategy that the subject is using to maintain his or her balance on the force measurement assembly.
FIXED-GAZE MOVEMENT TRAINING SYSTEMS WITH VISUAL FEEDBACK AND RELATED METHODS
Embodiments herein relate to hearing assistance devices and related systems and methods for providing visual feedback to a subject undergoing fixed-gaze movement training. In an embodiment, method of providing vestibular therapy to a subject is included. The method can include prompting the subject to execute an exercise, the exercise comprising a predetermined movement while maintaining a fixed point of eye gaze, tracking the point of gaze of the subject's eyes using a camera, and generating data representing a measured deviation between the fixed point of eye gaze and the tracked point of gaze. Other embodiments are included herein.
PHYSICAL THERAPY AND VESTIBULAR TRAINING SYSTEMS WITH VISUAL FEEDBACK
Embodiments herein relate to hearing assistance devices and related systems and methods for providing visual feedback to a subject undergoing physical therapy or vestibular movement training. In an embodiment, a method of providing physical or vestibular therapy to a subject is included. The method can include prompting the subject to move in a predetermined direction by a predetermined amount as part of a first predetermined movement. The method can further include tracking movement of the subject using a first IMU disposed in a fixed position relative to the subject's head. The method can further include generating feedback data by comparing the tracked movement of the subject against the predetermined direction and amount of the first predetermined movement. The method can further include generating a feedback image using the feedback data. Other embodiments are included herein.

Mobility Assessment Tracking Tool (MATT)
Mobility of a subject can reveal their physical, emotional and mental health, condition. The mobility assessment tracking tool (MATT) system assesses mobility derived by purely objective, reliable and reproducible processes and actions created by specialized computer codes and instructions executed by a logic engine to administer complex bio-mechanical measurements. The MATT system measures a subject's static and dynamic balance and gate mobility locomotion during the subject performing movements of the Tinetti gait and balance test and performing movements of the sports concussion assessment test, SCAT-5. By analyses of data streams from 3-D video with superimposed skeleton notes and from a pressure sensor force board used during these movements, the MATT assess a subject's mobility in accordance to established kinesiology definitions and protocol standards. Repetition of assessments over time allows for the tracking of the subjects' deterioration, maintenance or improvement health condition.
