METHOD, APPARATUS AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR GENERATING A QUANTITATIVE NEUROMUSCULAR BLOCKADE ASSESSMENT USING COMPUTER VISION
20250352132 · 2025-11-20 ·

A method, apparatus, and computer program product are provided for generating quantitative neuromuscular blockade assessments. Image data captured from a camera, such as a camera integrated in a mobile device is applied to a computer vision model to generate body part movement data indicating positions of the body parts in a three-dimensional space. Using the movement data, a twitch count or train of four (TOF) ratio is calculated and used to generate a quantitative neuromuscular blockade assessment. A notification is generated and provided via a user interface based on the neuromuscular blockade assessment. The quantitative neuromuscular blockade assessment can indicate a depth of neuromuscular blockade, maintenance of neuromuscular blockade, adequate recovery from neuromuscular blockade, presence of residual blockade, a calculated dosage of a maintenance or reversal agent, or the like.

ELECTRODE-BASED SYSTEMS AND DEVICES FOR INTERFACING WITH BIOLOGICAL TISSUE AND RELATED METHODS

Systems, devices, and methods for interfacing with biological tissue are described herein. An example electrode patch as described herein includes a flexible substrate and an electrode array arranged on the flexible substrate. The electrode array includes a plurality of electrodes, where each of the plurality of electrodes is formed of a hydrogel. Additionally, each of the plurality of electrodes defines a raised geometry. Additionally, an example system includes the electrode patch, which is configured to interface with a subject's skin, and an electronics module operably coupled to the electrode array.

DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ENHANCING SLEEP
20250345605 · 2025-11-13 ·

Systems, methods and devices are provided for delivering a combination of electrical impulses (and/or fields) and various stimuli to bodily tissues for various purposes. The combined therapy increases the brain's capacity to clear metabolic and neurotoxic material (waste removal), facilitates neuroplasticity to affect brain network optimization (learning and memory consolidation), and restores brain energy and neurotransmitter levels (neurometabolic restoration). In certain aspects, the systems and methods are particularly useful for enhancing sleep quantity, quality, and/or efficiency to promote more effective sleep, including more efficient waste clearance, memory consolidation, neurotransmitter rebalancing, and maintenance of energy homeostasis, leading to enhanced neurological health and reduced required sleep duration. The systems and methods may also be useful for improving a cognitive performance of the user by maintaining cognitive function during sleep deprivation and/or temporarily or permanently improving intelligence, learning capacity, memory retention, recall, mood and/or alertness.

Method and system for reflectance imaging of peripheral nerves

Methods and systems useful for machine learning assisted imaging and detection of peripheral nerves comprising reflectance imaging spectroscopy. The method can be conducted label-free and in real-time.

Apparatus and method for monitoring peripheral diabetic neuropathy and/or peripheral arterial disease

The bottom surface of a patient's foot makes contact with the receiving region of a device body to cause a set of temperature sensors to produce a current set of temperature values. Four or more earlier sets of temperature values produced at earlier times for the bottom surface of the patient's foot are accessed. Next, after setting a normalization reference for the earlier sets of temperature values and the current set of temperature values to produce normalized data, the normalized data is transformed into model information representing the progression of PDN or PAD. That model information is used to ascertain the trajectory of the patient's PDN or PAD.

Multi-shield spinal access system

An access device for accessing an intervertebral disc having an outer shield comprising an access shield with a larger diameter (16-30 mm) that reaches from the skin down to the facet line, with an inner shield having a second smaller diameter (5-12 mm) extending past the access shield and reaches down to the disc level. This combines the benefits of the direct visual microsurgical/mini open approaches and the percutaneous, ultra-MIS techniques.
