The method, computer program and system comprise receiving one or more parameters for configuring a plurality of measurement processes, receiving one or more results, generating a predictor, determining updated parameters using the predictor, receiving one or more further results, generating an updated predictor and determining one or more enhanced parameters.
WEARABLE GAIT DETECTION DEVICE, WALKING ABILITY IMPROVEMENT SYSTEM AND WEARABLE GAIT DETECTION SYSTEM
A wearable gait detection device, a walking ability improvement system and a wearable gait detection system detect manifestation in a brain based on the wearer's gait and preventive measures. A load measurement part measures a load of a sole of the wearer's feet, a foot movement detection part at the shoes detects acceleration and/or angular velocity during feet movement, a centroid position calculation part calculates a centroid position of the feet based on changes in measured load, a movement locus calculation part calculates a movement locus of the feet based on acceleration and/or angular velocity detected by the foot movement detection part, a manifestation recognition part recognizes manifestation in the brain according to a specificity of centroid fluctuation of the feet based on the calculated centroid position and movement locus of the feet, and a sensory output part feeds back a sensation to the wearer based on a recognition result.
Method and uses of diagnosing and recommending treatment for a psychotic disorder
The present specification discloses systems and computer implemented assessment methods including a system and method of assigning an individual to a group participating in a clinical study regarding a psychotic disorder, a system and method of determine whether and what type of psychotic disorder an individual may be suffering from; and a system and method of recommending a therapy to treat an individual with a psychotic disorder. All disclosed systems and computer implemented assessment methods use a non-invasive computational device-based test that uses a graphical user interface to measure a latent inhibition response of an individual to calculate a latent inhibition score and assess working memory. The latent inhibition score determines whether the individual exhibits an attenuated latent inhibition response, a normal latent inhibition response or an enhanced latent inhibition response.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DIAGNOSING SLEEP
Systems and methods for sleep stage determination are disclosed. Example systems disclosed herein includes a complexity module operable to measure the complexity of regularities in an EEG channel, and a stager operable to output at least one corresponding sleep stage. Some example systems also include monitoring a subject, and determine the subject may have impairment, Alzheimer's disease, or anesthesia problem that is associated with sleep staging problem.
ADVANCED PLAY ENVIRONMENT FOR SCREENING AND EARLY DIAGNOSIS OF INFANT DEVELOPMENTAL DELAYS AND NEUROLOGICAL IMPAIRMENTS
The presently disclosed subject matter relates to a play environment for children and infants for detecting motor delays or impairments, evaluating neurological development, and for diagnosing developmental disorders, and methods and systems of using the same.
Apparatus and related method to facilitate test via a computing device
This disclosure relates to a device to mechanically and electrically connect with a touch screen computing device, such as a tablet computer. The device can include a platform that can be moved into and out of physical contact with a surface of a touch screen. During engagement with the surface, the moveable platform electrically interacts with the touch screen (e.g., via capacitive coupling) to enable detection by the touch screen of contact members (e.g., pegs) even in the absence of user contact with the pegs.
Process for diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases
The invention provides an analytical process for analysing the presence of at least one aggregated conformation prion protein in a sample of body fluid or a sample of tissue and uses the dependency of the amplification of the aggregated conformation on the shear-force intensity applied to the native conformation prion protein, which is also dependent on the specific seed present in the admixture with native conformation prion protein, for specifically analysing for the presence of an aggregated conformation prion protein in the sample. The process of the invention contains the step of determining the content of aggregated conformation prion protein generated in admixture with the sample to be analysed using one shear-force intensity, preferably using least at two different shear-force intensities and the step of comparing data on these contents of generated prion protein having an aggregated conformation with data on the content of aggregated prion protein that is pre-determined, each at the same shear-force intensity for a mixture of the same native conformation prion protein with a reference sample as a seed.
Deep learning architecture for cognitive examination subscore trajectory prediction in Alzheimer's disease
A method of predicting progression of a cognitive state in a subject is disclosed including obtaining a neuroimage of the subject, acquiring a data sample from the neuroimage, selecting a time at which to predict progression of the cognitive state, and performing a calculation on the data sample by a transformation function to determine data associated with multiple cognitive metrics. A method of evaluating a cognitive state of a subject is also disclosed including providing a convolutional neural network, training the convolutional neural network with reference data to construct a transformation function, using the transformation function to predict multiple cognitive metrics from a subject data sample and a selected time, and determining the cognitive state of the subject from the predicted cognitive metrics. A cognitive evaluation system is also disclosed including a memory, a processor, and a cognitive state prediction component configured to program the processor with a transformation function.
Methods Of Measuring Head, Neck, And Brain Function And Predicting And Diagnosing Memory Impairment
A computer based method and system forms measurements of brain function and predictions of a likelihood for memory impairment via the use of cameras, including a near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopic device and a camera capturing images in the Red-Green-Blue (RGB) spectrum. The device acquires from a subject measurements of ions, molecules, or combinations thereof at more than one moment in time, as well as amplitude and timing of blood pulsations. Based on the measured molecule or ion concentration, flow, and so forth, a processor assesses the probability of a neuron to form an action potential. Formation of an action potential increases the probability that the subject individual will create a memory.
SYSTEM FOR ANALYSING AN ACTIVITY OF BRAIN USING MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING (MRI) DATA
A system for classifying an activity and connectivity of a brain into at least one neuropsychiatric disorder from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images. The system includes an imaging device, a network, and a brain activity analyzing server. The system (i) generate a three-dimensional (3D) structural MRI image and a 4D functional MRI images of the brain, (ii) extracts one or more features associated with one or more regions of the brain using a parcellation scheme, (iii) analyses, using a machine learning model, an intensity of at least one voxel in the one or more regions, and (iv) classifies the activity and the connectivity of the brain into at least one neuro-psychiatric disorder based on a percentage of variation of intensity of the at least one voxel in the one or more regions of the brain over the one or more features from a predefined threshold value.
