REVERSIBLE DOUBLE ENDED SOCK
A double-ended reversible tubular sock body having a first closed toe end and a second closed toe end, and a first heel section and a second heel section, each disposed within the elongated tubular sock body, with a first pattern disposed on a first side of the elongated tubular sock body and a second pattern disposed on a second side of the elongated tubular sock body, with one of the first pattern and the second pattern visible when the elongated tubular sock body is placed on a foot of a user.
Adhesive fabrication process for garments and other fabric products
A process for fabricating a three-dimensional, multi-layered fabric product with a moisture barrier is provided. A partially seamed inner lining fabric assembly having at least a two-dimensional shape is laminated with a membrane barrier film having flaps left un-laminated to cover at least one seam. The inner lining fabric assembly is further seamed and flaps of the of the membrane barrier film overlapped into contact with each other and sealed to provide a continuous moisture barrier. A process for fabricating a stretchable section of a garment with a moisture barrier is also provided. At least a section of a garment is formed from fibers arranged in a pattern having a direction of stretch in one direction and a three-dimensional surface texture such that a portion of the fibers protrude above another portion of the fibers. The stretchable section is stretched in the direction of stretch. Segments of a membrane barrier film are adhered to an outer edge of the protruding portion of the fibers while the section is stretched in the direction of stretch, leaving intermediate segments of the barrier film free from adherence to the section. In this way, the intermediate segments of the membrane barrier film include slack that folds up to form ruches when the section is in a relaxed state.
Pillow Sock
A sock having a first end to receive toes, a second end to overlay a calf, and a heel zone therebetween to overlay a heel. A cushion component shaped to contour the heel, ankles, and posterior calf and positioned within and attached to the inside of the sock whereby when the sock is in use the cushion is positioned over the boney prominences of the foot and reduces pressure to the anatomy of the foot (integument and body tissue) that covers the boney prominences of the foot by distributing pressure caused by direct contacts with any and all surfaces while accommodating the ability to ambulate.
Two sock system
A two sock system, including an inner sock, and an outer sock surrounding the inner sock, wherein the inner sock and the outer sock include a support band system that prevents movement of the inner sock relative to the outer sock. A method of preventing movement between an inner sock and outer sock in a two sock system, by preventing movement of the inner sock on a user's foot, and preventing movement of the outer sock on the inner sock, wherein the inner sock and outer sock are unattached.
Footwear, and knitting method for knit fabric
Provided is a footwear that excels in productivity and shape retaining property. Footwear is knitted seamlessly with a flat knitting machine having at least a pair of a front and a back needle bed and includes a base knit fabric portion having a mixed section knitted using a first knitting yarn and a second knitting yarn interwoven along the first knitting yarn. The first knitting yarn configuring the mixed section of the footwear is a knitting yarn that is not a heat-fusible yarn, and the second knitting yarn is a heat-fusible yarn having thermal adhesiveness and heat-shrinkable properties. The second knitting yarn preferably has a configuration including a core made from a material that contracts by heat, and a sheath made from a material having a lower fusing point than the core.

Vapor-permeable waterproof sock
A vapor-permeable waterproof sock includes a cylindrical main body including a cloth having vapor permeability and that is waterproof. The vapor-permeable waterproof sock covers a range from a foot tip portion to a crus portion. The cylindrical main body includes a plurality of cloth areas, each of which expands and contacts more easily in one direction as compared with other directions. The plurality of cloth areas are joined together, and include a crus cloth area expanding and contracting more easily in a circumferential direction of the crus portion as compared with in a longitudinal direction of the crus portion, the crus cloth area covering the crus portion; and a planta portion cloth area expanding and contacting more easily in a longitudinal direction of the planta portion as compared with a width direction of the planta portion.
BOOTIES AND FOOTWEAR ASSEMBLIES COMPRISING SEAMLESS EXTENSIBLE FILM, AND METHODS THEREFOR
Waterproof, breathable socks, booties, shoe inserts, and footwear assemblies containing the shoe inserts are provided. The booties and shoe inserts may include a laminate comprising a seamless extensible film, such as a polyurethane film, and at least one textile. The bootie is suitable for a range of sizes and shoe shapes. The bootie may shrink to fit, or, alternatively, be stretched to fit, an asymmetrical last having a desired size to form a shoe insert. A bootie having a seamless extensible film eliminates the need to have multiple sizes of shoe inserts correlating to particular shoe sizes. In embodiments where the polyurethane film is seamless and continuous, the shoe insert eliminates the need for a waterproof seam tape, which is conventionally used to make shoe inserts waterproof. Methods of forming the socks, booties, and shoe inserts are also provided.
LINED CLOTHING ARTICLES AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING
Articles of clothing, such as gloves having a substantially seamless inner liner and methods of manufacturing the same are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a process for manufacturing a glove comprises stretching an outer layer inside-out over a glove form, such that an interior surface of the outer layer faces outward. A liner having a first side and a second side opposite the first side is cut from a fabric, such as fleece. An adhesive is deposited in an adhesive pattern onto the first side of the liner. The adhesive fuses to the interior surface of the outer layer in a heat/pressure procedure, thereby affixing the first side of the liner to the interior surface of the outer layer to form the glove. The glove is removed from the glove form and inverted to a right-side-out configuration, thereby compressing the outer layer and the liner.
Multi-Layered Socks With Elastomeric Padding
Multi-layered socks with elastomeric padding in accordance with embodiments of the invention are disclosed. In one embodiment, a sock for reducing foot movement is provided, the sock including: a toe region connected to a mid-foot region, connected to a heel region, further connected to an ankle region, the ankle region including an opening; a sole positioned from the toe region through the mid-foot region to the heel region, the sole comprising an inner layer, a middle layer, and an outer layer; the middle layer being attached to the inner layer and encapsulated between the inner layer and the outer layer; the middle layer of the sole varies in thickness; a thickness of the middle layer of the sole is greater in the heel region and the toe region; and the sock forms a hollow tubular shape that is closed at the toe region and open at the ankle region.
