Multi-Layer Nursing Garment
20180064178 · 2018-03-08 ·

The present invention teaches a multi-layered nursing garment. The multi-layered nursing garment includes breasts support having a pair of breast cups, shoulder straps and a chest band. Each breast cup is comprised of two or more layers. Further a clasp for attaching an outer removable layer with a shoulder strap and a clip is configured for attaching another, inner layer. The invention provides a number of combinations of clips, clasps, and layers but which a breastfeeding woman can selectively open the nursing garment to accomplish breastfeeding and/or milk pumping from either breast, and has the capacity to engage in said events simultaneously.

The invention relates to a breastfeeding device (1) for an infant, the device enabling analysis of true forces applied by the infants tongue and jaw movements during suckling, i.e. when suckling milk or formulae for the purpose of nourishment. The breastfeeding device (1) comprises an artificial nipple (10) with at least one cavity (11) within said artificial nipple (10), encompassed by the material of the artificial nipple (10). The cavity (11) is fluidically connected to a resilience system (RS), enabling control of the resilience of the artificial nipple (10) by adjusting the resilience of the at least one cavity (11) through the principle of hydraulics. The cavity (11) is further fluidically connected to a pressure sensor (PS) enabling measurement of any force applied to the artificial nipple (10), and the measurements from the pressure sensor is provided to a user, such as a pediatrician, for decision support relating to diagnosis of the infant.

USER INTERFACES FOR CYCLE TRACKING

The present disclosure generally relates to predicting an occurrence of a recurring health-related event. Data corresponding to past occurrences of the recurring health-related event are received. Indications corresponding to predicted dates for future occurrences of the recurring health-related event are displayed with a corresponding visual appearance.

Method for providing an indication as to the amount of milk remaining in a breast during lactation

A method of providing an indication as to the amount of milk remaining in a breast during lactation based on a determined fat content of milk that has been expressed from said breast is disclosed. The method of determining said fat content comprises measuring an optical characteristic of milk following expression and by comparing said measured optical characteristic with data representing a corresponding optical characteristic of a sample of milk having a known fat content to determine the fat content of said expressed milk which is indicative of the amount of milk remaining in the breast.

Monitoring system and method for monitoring milk flow during breast feeding or milk expression

A monitoring system for monitoring milk flow during breast feeding or milk expression uses a flow sensor arrangement to monitor milk flow levels from different regions of the breast. A map of milk flow levels for different regions of the breast is then generated and displayed.

A breast milk flow monitoring system in the form of a milk flow monitoring sensor is described and includes an array of electrodes and a controller. The electrodes include electrically conductive surfaces that are arranged to contact a skin surface of a breast. The controller generates a first excitation signal that is communicated via the first electrode to a first location on the breast, and generates a second excitation signal that is communicated via the first electrode to the first location on the breast. The controller receives a first current response signal and a second current response signal. A bio-impedance spectroscopic analysis of the first current response signal and the second current response signal is executed, wherein the bio-impedance spectroscopic analysis is calibrated for breast milk flow. A breast milk flow parameter is determined based upon the bio-impedance spectroscopic analysis.
