SEXUAL STIMULATING SYSTEM AND METHOD WITH FEEDBACK CONTROL
A sexual stimulating system with feedback control includes a physiological sensor, a sexual stimulator, and a processing module. The physiological sensor measures a physiological response of a user under sexual stimulation, and generates a sensor signal according to a result of the measurement of the physiological response. The sexual stimulator applies the sexual stimulation. The processing module is electrically connected to the physiological sensor and the sexual stimulator, receives the sensor signal, performs an analytical procedure upon the sensor signal for generating digital data, and generates a driving signal according to the digital data to control a degree of the sexual stimulation.
Diagnosis of brain and spinal cord injury by bulbocavernosus reflex measurement
A system and method is disclosed for measuring muscle reflexes (e.g., a bulbocavernosus reflex) as a tool for identifying/diagnosing dysfunctions (e.g., spinal cord abnormalities, bladder voiding dysfunction, and sexual organ dysfunction) non-invasively by using mechanical stimulation. The system and method includes a probe having a predetermined patient contacting portion, wherein when the contacting portion is moved into contact with a particular area of the patient (e.g., the patient's genitals), the contact induces a muscle reflex. The probe detects the pressure resulting from the contacting portion being abruptly and forcibly brought into contact with the particular area. Such detection is used to electronically initiate capture of electrical responses from a plurality of electrodes placed on the patient's skin in proximity to the particular area. Such electrical responses are processed to determine characteristics of the patient's reflexes of one or more muscles adjacent to the electrodes.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ESTIMATING AND PREDICTING EMOTIONAL STATES AND AFFECTS AND PROVIDING REAL TIME FEEDBACK
Systems and methods for estimating emotional states, moods, affects of an individual and providing feedback to the individual or others are disclosed. Systems and methods that provide real time detection and monitoring of physical aspects of an individual and/or aspects of the individual's activity and means of estimating that person's emotional state or affect and change to those are also disclosed. Real time feedback to the individual about the person's emotional change, change or potential change is provided to the user, helping the user cope, adjust or appropriately act on their emotions.
SYSTEM, AN APPARATUS, AND A METHOD FOR TREATING A SEXUAL DYSFUNCTIONAL FEMALE PATIENT
The present invention relates to method for implanting an apparatus for treating sexual dysfunction in a female patient. The apparatus has a stimulation device for stimulating an erectile blood flow passageway to increase the amount of blood in the female erectile tissue and thereby obtaining engorgement with blood of the female erectile tissue by affecting said erectile blood flow passageway.
Detection and Response to Arousal Activations
Arousal events can be determined for a user associated with a wearable device, such as a user wearing a wearable computing device including one or more sensors. The one or more sensors may obtain EDA information that may determine a sympathetic nervous system response of the user, which may be responsive to an arousal event or an activation. Detection of events that increase the EDA response may provide information to the user regarding arousal events and provide recommendations to the user to address the arousal events to decrease their response.
Probe for measuring a patient's bulbocavernosus muscle reflex
A method and system to obtain and process data indicative of muscle reflexes for screening and/or diagnosing a patient with a brain injury or spinal cord injury, and especially for obtaining and processing data indicative of reflexes from the bulbospongiosus muscle. Certain embodiments employ a novel electromechanical probe for stimulating the bulbospongiosus muscle to identify a time of the stimulation so that electrical responses from electrodes on the patient's skin can be identified for analysis.
Control of sexual stimulation devices using electroencephalography
A system and method for thought-based control of sexual stimulation devices using electroencephalography. In an embodiment, a training phase comprises placing electrodes on the head of a person, measuring electrical signals produced by the person's brain via the electrodes while the user engages in one or more thought-based training tasks, associating patterns of electrical activity in the person's brain while performing the tasks with controls of the sexual stimulation device. In an embodiment, an operation phase comprises generating control signals for the sexual stimulation device based on the associations when the patterns of electrical activity are detected by the electrodes. In some embodiments, machine learning algorithms are used to detect the patterns of electrical activity and make the associations. In some embodiments, data from other biometric sensors is included in the associations.
Method and system for managing animal data
A method and system for managing animal data are disclosed. The system for managing animal data includes: a sensor inserted into the body of an animal or attached to the outside of the animal's body to provide an identifier of the animal; a first reader installed at a start portion of a passage through which the animal passes to receive the identifier of the animal from the sensor inserted into or attached to the animal when the animal moves past the start portion or the first reader and to identify a first time of receipt of the identifier; a second reader installed at an end portion of the passage to receive the identifier of the animal from the sensor inserted into or attached to the animal when the animal moves past the end portion or the second reader and to identify a second time of receipt of the identifier; and a management server that receives the identifier and the first time of receipt from the first reader, receives the identifier and the second time of receipt from the second reader, calculates the speed of movement of the animal matching the identifier, and predicting whether the animal matching the identifier is in estrus or not, based on the calculated speed of movement.
