Isotropic generalized diffusion tensor MRI
Isotropic generalized diffusion tensor imaging methods and apparatus are configured to obtain signal attenuations using selected sets of applied magnetic field gradient directions whose averages produce mean apparent diffusion constants (mADCs) over a wide range of b-values, associated with higher order diffusion tensors (HOT). These sets are selected based on analytical descriptions of isotropic HOTs and the associated averaged signal attenuations are combined to produce mADCs, or probability density functions of intravoxel mADC distributions. Estimates of biologically-specific rotation-invariant parameters for quantifying tissue water mobilities or other tissue characteristics can be obtained such as Traces of HOTs associated with diffusion and mean t-kurtosis.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IMAGING A BIOLOGICAL TISSUE
The present disclosure relates to a method and a system for detecting an anomaly within a biological tissue. A first image of the biological tissue is obtained, the first image containing light at a first wavelength. A second image of the biological tissue is obtained, the second image containing light at a second wavelength. A texture analysis of the biological tissue is performed using spatial information of the first and second images. The texture analysis is resolved over the first and second wavelengths.

Provided herein are compositions and methods for diagnosing and characterizing cancer. In particular, provided herein are compositions and methods for selecting MRI imaging methods for prostate tumors.
SYNTHESIS AND COMPOSITION OF AMINO ACID LINKING GROUPS CONJUGATED TO COMPOUNDS USED FOR THE TARGETED IMAGING OF TUMORS
The present disclosure relates to compounds that are useful as near-infrared fluorescence probes, wherein the compounds include i) a ligand that binds to a target receptor protein, ii) a dye molecule, and iii) a linker molecule that comprises an amino acid or derivative thereof. The disclosure further describes methods and compositions for making and using the compounds, methods incorporating the compounds, and kits incorporating the compounds. The disclosure also relates to compositions for incorporating the compounds as used for the targeted imaging of tumors. Conjugation of the amino acid linking groups increase specificity and detection of the compound. Methods and compositions for use thereof in diagnostic imaging are contemplated.
MARKER MONITORING VIA A MEDICAL DEVICE
In some examples, a medical system includes a medical device. The medical device may include a housing configured to be implanted in a target site of a patient, a light emitter configured to emit a signal configured to cause a fluorescent marker to emit a fluoresced signal into the target site, and a light detector that may be configured to detect the fluoresced signal. The medical system may include processing circuitry configured to determine a characteristic of the fluorescent marker based on the emitted signal and the fluoresced signal. The characteristic of the fluorescent marker may be indicative of a presence of a compound in the patient, and the processing circuitry may be configured to track the presence of the compound of the patient based on the characteristic of the fluorescent marker.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISEASE DIAGNOSIS USING NEURAL NETWORK
A system for disease diagnosis includes a patch neural network for generating a patch-level diagnostic result of whether or not a disease is present in each of predetermined patches formed by dividing a slide into a predetermined size; a heat map generation module for generating a patch-level heat map image corresponding to the biometric image obtained from the slide on the basis of the patch diagnostic results of the respective multiple patches included in the slide; a tissue mask generation module for generating a tissue mask image corresponding to the biometric image obtained from the slide on the basis of a hue-saturation-value (HSV) model corresponding to the slide; and a visualization module for generating a disease diagnostic visualization image corresponding to the biometric image obtained from the slide on the basis of the patch-level heat map image and the tissue mask image.
DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF TISSUE
A surgical method including positioning an optical probe within a tissue at a target location in a body of a patient; emitting electromagnetic radiation from the optical probe toward the tissue; and receiving a spectra at the optical probe; generating, based on the spectra, by a tissue classification system, a diagnosis classification indicative of a condition of the tissue and treating the tissue with a treatment modality selected based on the diagnosis classification. The spectra is generated by the tissue in response to the emitted electromagnetic radiation.
Device and method for the mobile analysis of excrement in a toilet
A device for determining physiological data through analysis of human excrement in a toilet using at least one indicator and/or sensor, and a method for determining physiological data by analysis of human excrement in a toilet by measurement of urine and/or stool values, in order to achieve maximally universal use of the device, including in a wide variety of toilet designs, with reasonable design effort and manageable costs. A measurement system, in which an indicator or sensor can be brought into a measurement position, in which sufficient contact with the urine or stool to be examined occurs via an arm for each measurement, wherein the indicator or sensor is/are designed as (an) independent unit(s), and by a corresponding method in which a plurality of previously determined values are measured and then processed further and forwarded as applicable.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IMAGING A BIOLOGICAL TISSUE
The present disclosure relates to a method and a system for imaging a biological tissue. A monochromatic image of the biological tissue is obtained. A texture analysis of the biological tissue is performed using spatial information of the monochromatic image to identity features of the biological tissue. A texture image is generated based on the features of the biological tissue. The biological tissue of the subject is classified as normal or abnormal at least in part based on a comparison between first order statistics of the texture image and predetermined values.
