Portable electronic device, accessory, and operating method therefor
Provided are a portable electronic device, an accessory, and an operation method thereof. The portable electronic device includes a light source irradiating light to skin, at least one light detector detecting light received from the skin, at least one memory storing an instruction, and a processor, by executing the instruction, controlling the light source to irradiate the light and analyzing a skin state based on light detected by the light detector.
Method of recommending cosmetics based on melanin index and hemoglobin index and device thereof
The present disclosure relates to a method of recommending cosmetics based on a melanin index and a hemoglobin index and a device thereof, and more particularly to a method for implementing quantification and standardization based on hemoglobin and melanin indexes from personal color consulting, which conventionally done offline based on a color index (Lab index) and has high result variability depending on personal experience or knowledge of a consultant and recommending cosmetics based on the quantification and standardization. The method includes measuring a hemoglobin index and a melanin index of skin and providing a measured value, classifying the measured hemoglobin index and melanin index of the skin into one of a plurality of categories based on a predetermined reference, and recommending cosmetics suitable for a color or condition of the skin corresponding to the measured and classified hemoglobin index and the melanin index of the skin, wherein a category of the color of the skin is classified into 4 seasonal categories including a spring type, a summer type, an autumn type, and a winter type.
Selecting Skin Care Products Based on Skin Condition Scanning
Skin condition scanning allows one to more easily find products that match the condition of their skin. Based on a skin condition scan, a person can view products appropriate for their skin condition such as skin type, oiliness or oil balance, fine lines or wrinkles, or hydration, of a combination. A scanning device is used to scan two or more locations of a person's skin. For example, three different locations of the face can be scanned, such as the forehead and cheek and near the eyes. The scan determines a skin condition result for the person's skin.
Skin Tone Scanning and Cosmetics in Three-Dimensional Skin Tone Color Space
Scanning a person’s skin allows one to more easily find products that match their skin tone. Cosmetic products are organized or classified using a three-dimensional skin tone color space. A skin scan determines a person’s skin tone in the same skin tone color space. This allows customers to determine which products are appropriate for their skin tone that they can purchase form a retailer. A scanning device is used to scan one or more locations of a person’s skin to obtain a skin tone identifier. For example, two different locations of a person’s face can be scanned, such as the forehead and cheek. There may be an additional third scan. The scan determines a skin tone result in the skin tone color space.
Multi-use endoscope with integrated device-patient monitoring and patient-provider positioning and disassociation system
A system having a scope with a longitudinal length extending between a proximal end and a distal end includes a plurality of markers spaced along the longitudinal length. The system also includes a disassociation and positioning device that is configured to enhance unsedated transnasal endoscopic procedures by at least partially occluding the vision of a patient while enabling body cavity access, and optionally record and sense body functions such as temperature, heart rate and oxygenation of the blood stream. The system further includes a sensor integrated into the distraction device, wherein the sensor is configured to detect the markers on the longitudinal length of the scope.
Continuous glucose monitoring device
The sensor includes a working electrode having a first wire with a first flat surface and an electrochemical element on the first flat surface. A reference electrode includes a second wire with a second flat surface and a counter electrode includes a third wire with a third flat surface. The first wire is a first sensor wire for the working electrode, the second wire is a second sensor wire for the reference electrode and the third wire is a third sensor wire for the counter electrode in a plurality of sensor wires. The second flat surface and the third flat surface face toward each other.
System and method for applying a reflectance modifying agent to improve the visual attractiveness of human skin
A computer-controlled system determines attributes of a frexel, an area of human skin, and applies a modifying agent (RMA) at the pixel level, typically to make the skin appear more youthful and so more attractive. The system scans the frexel, identifies unattractive attributes, and applies the RMA, typically with an inkjet printer. The identified attributes relate to reflectance and may refer to features such as irregular-looking light and dark spots, age-spots, scars, and bruises. Identified attributes may also relate to the surface topology of the skin, for more precisely enhancing surface irregularities such as bumps and wrinkles. Feature mapping may be used, for example to make cheeks appear pinker and cheekbones more prominent. The RMA can be applied in agreement with identified patterns, such as adding red to a red frexel, or in opposition, such as adding green or blue to a red frexel, according to idealized models of attractiveness.
NON-INVASIVE DETECTION OF SKIN DISEASE
In some aspects, the present disclosure provides methods for identifying a disease in an epithelial tissue of a subject. Methods for identifying a disease in an epithelial tissue comprise the generation of a depth profile of the epithelial tissue using signals generated from the tissue by pulses of light directed towards a surface of the epithelial tissue. In some aspects, the present disclosure provides apparatuses consistent with the methods herein.
PNEUMATIC SOMATOSENSORY STIMULATION DEVICE AND METHOD
A device for providing tactile stimulation of a subject via a pulse of compressible fluid, typically for medical diagnostic and therapeutic applications. The device preferably includes a high pressure fluid source and a low pressure fluid source. A pressure valve selectively connects the pressure sources to an outlet conduit. The outlet conduit includes an applicator for directing pulses against the skin of a subject. The pulses may be applied via one applicator or a plurality of applicators, and may be applied in one pattern or several patterns at various application sites. A method of providing tactile stimulation is also disclosed.
IMAGE ACQUISITION DEVICE
An image acquisition device according to an embodiment includes: a body; a seat part provided on a lower part of the body; a substrate disposed on the seat part inside the body and having a plurality of light sources; and a light source angle forming part disposed on the substrate inside the body. The substrate may be provided on the seat part in the form of a planar plate, and an outer peripheral portion of the substrate may be bent so that the light sources are directed toward one focal point by the seat part and the light source angle forming part.
