Provided herein is a system for measuring and analyzing skin and hair, which includes a skin and hair measurement and analysis device, a smart terminal of a user in which an application interlinked with the skin and hair measurement and analysis device is installed, and a server interlinked with the skin and hair measurement and analysis device and interlinked with the smart terminal.
ENHANCING PIGMENTATION IN DERMOSCOPY IMAGES
Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for modifying images of skin so as to reduce or enhance the appearance of component pigments, such as melanin and hemoglobin. A diffuse reflectance image of skin, such as a cross-polarized contact dermoscopy image, which conveys information regarding subsurface features of the skin, is processed so as to extract pigment distribution information, which is then used to correct the diffuse reflectance image, such as by reducing the appearance of melanin to allow better visualization of hemoglobin-related structures, such as vasculature. Alternatively, the diffuse reflectance image can be corrected so as to reduce the appearance of hemoglobin to allow better visualization of melanin-related structures.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING A PHYSIOLOGICAL PARAMETER ASSOCIATED WITH AN ANATOMICAL CAVITY
A method for determining a anatomical cavity pressure comprising; obtaining a pressure value comprising a pressure applied to skin of the anatomical cavity by a vessel, the vessel having a first open end and a second end, the first end arranged to contact the skin to encase a portion of the skin, and the vessel being arranged such that a pressure can be applied through the vessel to the encased portion of the skin; obtaining a skin displacement value associated with the obtained pressure value, the skin displacement value comprising a distance of the encased portion of the skin from a baseline while the pressure is being applied; determining, by the processor, a pressure of the anatomical cavity using the obtained pressure value and the obtained skin displacement value, and based on a static force balance of the vessel and the encased portion of the skin while the pressure is being applied.
METHOD OF RECOMMENDING COSMETICS BASED ON MELANIN INDEX AND HEMOGLOBIN INDEX AND DEVICE THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to a method of recommending cosmetics based on a melanin index and a hemoglobin index and a device thereof, and more particularly to a method for implementing quantification and standardization based on hemoglobin and melanin indexes from personal color consulting, which conventionally done offline based on a color index (Lab index) and has high result variability depending on personal experience or knowledge of a consultant and recommending cosmetics based on the quantification and standardization. The method includes measuring a hemoglobin index and a melanin index of skin and providing a measured value, classifying the measured hemoglobin index and melanin index of the skin into one of a plurality of categories based on a predetermined reference, and recommending cosmetics suitable for a color or condition of the skin corresponding to the measured and classified hemoglobin index and the melanin index of the skin, wherein a category of the color of the skin is classified into 4 seasonal categories including a spring type, a summer type, an autumn type, and a winter type.
CONTACTLESS INTERNAL MEASUREMENT DEVICE, CONTACTLESS INTERNAL MEASUREMENT METHOD, AND INTERNAL MEASUREMENT RESULT DISPLAY SYSTEM
Provided is a contactless internal measurement device including an electromagnetic wave irradiation unit that irradiates an electromagnetic wave to a measurement subject, and an electromagnetic wave receiver that detects the electromagnetic wave reflected by the measurement subject. The electromagnetic wave irradiation unit is disposed to reduce a polarization component of the electromagnetic wave detected by the electromagnetic wave receiver, the polarization component being the same as a polarization component of the electromagnetic wave irradiated by the electromagnetic wave irradiation unit.
DIGITAL IMAGING SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF ANALYZING PIXEL DATA OF AN IMAGE OF A SKIN AREA OF A USER FOR DETERMINING SKIN PUFFINESS
Digital imaging systems and methods are described for analyzing pixel data of an image of a skin area of a user for determining skin puffiness. A plurality of training images of a plurality of individuals are aggregated, each of the training images comprising pixel data of a respective skin area of an individual. A skin puffiness model, trained with the pixel data, is operable to output, across a range of a skin puffiness scale, skin puffiness values associated with a degree of skin puffiness. An image of a user comprising pixel data of at least a portion of a user skin area is received and analyzed, by the skin puffiness model, to determine a user-specific skin puffiness value of the user skin area. A user-specific electronic recommendation addressing at least one feature identifiable within the pixel data is generated and rendered, on a display screen of a user computing device.
