INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus includes a controller, in response to transmission of a connection request from a first device including a first operation assistant to a second device including a second operation assistant, the connection request including identification information of at least one of the first device and the first operation assistant, the controller causes, by using the identification information, the second operation assistant to operate as a slave operation assistant controlled in accordance with an instruction from a different operation assistant other than the second operation assistant.
BUS SYSTEM
A bus system is provided. The bus system includes a master device, a bus, and a plurality of slave devices electrically connected to the master device via the bus. Each slave device has an alert handshake pin. The alert handshake pins of the slave devices are electrically connected together via an alert-handshake control line. When a first slave device communicates with the master device through the bus, in a first phase of a plurality of phases in each assignment period, the first slave device sets the alert-handshake control line to a first voltage level via the alert handshake pin, wherein the first phase corresponds to the first slave device. In the phases other than the first phase in each assignment period, the alert-handshake control line is at a second voltage level. Each of the phases includes two clock cycles.
Automatic discovery of automated digital systems through link salience
Described are platforms, systems, and methods to combine counts of activity correlations over time with a link salience method to identify collections of digital devices in an automated environment to identify sub-systems comprised of portions of the overall environment. The platforms, systems, and methods detect activity in a plurality of data sources associated with an automation environment; determine correlation in the detected activity between two or more of the data sources; store records of determined correlation in the detected activity over time in a data storage system; apply a link salience algorithm to the stored records of determined correlation in the detected activity to determine a salience property; and identify one or more subsystems in the automation environment based on the salience property.
COMMUNICATION METHOD AND CORRESPONDING SYSTEM AND DEVICE
A device includes a master device, a set of slave devices and a bus. The master device is configured to transmit first messages carrying a set of operation data message portions indicative of operations for implementation by slave devices of the set of slave devices, and second messages addressed to slave devices in the set of slave devices. The second messages convey identifiers identifying respective ones of the slave devices to which the second messages are addressed requesting respective reactions towards the master device within respective expected reaction intervals. The slave devices are configured to receive the first messages transmitted from the master device, read respective operation data message portions in the set of operation data message portions, implement respective operations as a function of the respective operation data message portions read, and receive the second messages transmitted from the master device.
NETWORK MANAGEMENT DEVICE, MANAGEMENT METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A network management device that supports restoration from an abnormality is provided. A management device is a management device that manages a network including a master device and a slave device connected to the master device, and includes a network configuration diagram display unit that displays a network configuration diagram based on design information of a network according to a design created by a user, a state information acquisition unit that acquires state information relating to a state of the slave device, and a state display unit that displays the state on the network configuration diagram in association with the slave device based on the state information.
Radio
Provided is a radio formed to be capable of performing wireless communication with one driving apparatus, and configured to be connected, through one communication port via wired communication, to a slave control apparatus configured to be communicably connected to a master control apparatus with a predetermined communication method, the radio including an identification information collection unit collecting, from the one driving apparatus, identification information for identifying the one driving apparatus, when the radio is initially connected to the one driving apparatus via wireless communication, and a transfer control unit mediating data transfer between the master control apparatus and the one driving apparatus, such that the one driving apparatus is directly connected to the one communication port in a virtual manner, based on the identification information of the one driving apparatus collected by the identification information collection unit.
Slave device, control method of slave device, information processing program and recording medium
The present invention aims to reduce an operation burden related to the change of reception processing in a master device when a device connected to a slave device is changed. A device communication managing unit (10) transmits the data received by a device (20) communicating with a device communication port (110) in a first mode to a field network (50) by using a data format used for transmitting the data received by the device (20) communicating in a second mode.
CONTROL DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A control device which synchronizes and controls a master device and a slave device at a fixed period when the number of axes of the master device is less than the number of axes of the slave device can reduce the amount of calculations. A computing unit includes a synchronization computing unit which performs synchronization computation for maintaining the position of the master device and the position of the slave device in a predetermined corresponding relation for a command value for each axis or a measured current value of each axis of the master device at a fixed period and a coordinate transformation unit which performs coordinate transformation from a coordinate system of the master device into a coordinate system of the slave device for synchronization computation values obtained through the synchronization computation. In this manner, a command value for each axis of the slave device is obtained.
SERIAL PERIPHERAL INTERFACE ROUND ROBIN MODE SYSTEM AND APPARATUS
SPI Round Robin Mode for Single-Cycle MUX Channel Sequencing. SPI round robin mode is an SPI mode applicable for MUX devices control. It allows the MUX output to connect to the next input channel sequentially in just one clock cycle. Configurations can be made such as: clock edge to use (rising/falling), ascending/descending channel sequence, and enabling/disabling the channels to go through. The device supersedes an ADC with built in sequencing and is applicable to multiplexing, switching, instrumentation, process control and isolation applicationwhile retaining SPI device control and operation.
Module auto addressing in platform bus
A system and approach for addressing modules on a platform bus that may incorporate a master module and one or more slave modules. The platform bus may run through sub-base connectors that interlock modules together on a rail. Addressing of the modules may occur automatically and dynamically in that the master module may have a first address by default, and a first slave module adjoining the master module may be assigned a second address. A second slave module adjoining the first slave module, if there is one, may be assigned a third address. Each of the other slave modules, adjoining a preceding slave module assigned an address, may be assigned a next address after an address assigned to a preceding slave module. Addresses may be assigned in a numerical order to each module based on a physical position of the respective module on a rail.
