BED-LEAVING PREDICTION NOTIFICATION DEVICE AND NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM
20230025313 · 2023-01-26 ·

A bed-leaving prediction device (server device) (10) is connected through a digital communication network (60) to: a portable information processing terminal (40) of care staff; environmental sensors (32 to 34) for detecting environment values such as temperature in a room; a human sensor (31); and a bed sensor (35). A bed-leaving prediction processing section (115) calculates a bed-leaving prediction value indicative of a degree of possibility that a care recipient leaves a sleeping furniture after a second time interval has expired since a current time point based on a plurality of environment values detected in a time period between the current time point and a time point before expiration of a first time interval, outputs of the human sensor, and outputs of the bed sensor. A bed-leaving notification processing section (117) compares the bed-leaving prediction value with a threshold value, and transmits, to the portable information processing terminal, a bed-leaving notification indicating that the care recipient leaves the sleeping furniture after the second time interval expires when the bed-leaving prediction value exceeds the threshold value.

TEMPERATURE ESTIMATION DEVICE, AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL DEVICE, AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM

The derivation unit determines the stability of a parasympathetic nerve activity of the sleeper for each environment temperature, and derives a correspondence relationship between the environment temperature and the stability of the parasympathetic nerve activity of the sleeper. An estimation unit estimates an appropriate value of the environment temperature suitable for the sleeper based on the correspondence relationship derived by the derivation unit.

A child safety seat checking system for a child safety seat of a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, is comprised of at least one child safety seat, a first checking device for checking whether a child is located in the child safety seat, and a second checking device for checking whether a person supervising the child is present, wherein the second checking device is designed to operate in an at least partly portable manner in an operating state of the child safety seat checking system and/or is designed to operate regardless of an on/off state of the vehicle.

System and methods for consciousness evaluation in non-communicating subjects

Disclosed is a method for the generation of a consciousness indicator for a non-communicating subject, including the steps of generating an auditory stimulation, receiving an electrocardiographic signal of the subject obtained from a recording during the generation of the auditory stimulation, extracting at least one feature from the electrocardiographic signal and deducing a consciousness indicator from an analysis of the electrocardiographic feature.

Expended wear ambulatory electrocardiography monitor

An electrocardiography monitor is provided. A sealed housing includes one end wider than an opposite end of the sealed housing. Electronic circuitry is provided within the sealed housing. The electronic circuitry includes an electrographic front end circuit to sense electrocardiographic signals and a micro-controller interfaced to the electrocardiographic front end circuit to sample the electrocardiographic signals. A buzzer within the housing outputs feedback to a wearer of the sealed housing.

According to an embodiment, a bed system includes a plurality of bed devices and a first input/output device capable of communicating with the plurality of bed devices. The first input/output device implements a first operation. During the first operation, the first input/output device receives input of a first set value relating to a first item set in each of the plurality of bed devices. At least one of the first input/output device and the plurality of bed devices implements an operation corresponding to the first set value. Thus, a bed system having improved usability is provided.

Using personalized physiological parameters for sleep/wake detection
11701055 · 2023-07-18 · ·

Aspects of the present disclosure provide methods, apparatuses, and systems for accurately determining sleep and wake onset based on a user's personalized physiological parameters for sleep and wake. First, a user is determined to be asleep using population level data. Thereafter, sensor collected data is used to determine the user's distribution of values of a physiological parameter when the user is asleep. This distribution of values is then used, instead of population-level data, to determine the user is asleep in real-time. As a result, the content and interventions are provided to help users get back to sleep. Further, the described techniques allow more accuracy in determining sleep statistics which can guide recommended interventions and therapies.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR REMOTE SLEEP MONITORING
20230018038 · 2023-01-19 ·

Methods and systems for remote sleep monitoring are provided. Such methods and systems provide non-contact sleep monitoring via remote sensing or radar sensors. In this regard, when processing backscattered radar signals from a sleeping subject on a normal mattress, a breathing motion magnification effect is observed from mattress surface displacement due to human respiratory activity. This undesirable motion artifact causes existing approaches for accurate heart-rate estimation to fail. Embodiments of the present disclosure use a novel active motion suppression technique to deal with this problem by intelligently selecting a slow-time series from multiple ranges and examining a corresponding phase difference. This approach facilitates improved sleep monitoring, where one or more subjects can be remotely monitored during an evaluation period (which corresponds to an expected sleep cycle).

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING MOVEMENT OF A CONDUIT
20230218845 · 2023-07-13 ·

A system includes an electronic circuit, a memory, and a control system. The electronic circuit is coupled to a conduit. The conduit may be configured to deliver pressurized air. A portion of the electronic circuit has a first electrical property that is configured to change based at least in part on movement of the portion of the electronic circuit. The memory stores machine-readable instructions. The control system includes one or more processors configured to execute the machine-readable instructions. Data associated with the first electrical property of the electronic circuit is received. The received data is analyzed. Based at least in part on the analysis, it is determined that the first electrical property of the electronic circuit has changed. Responsive to the determination that the first electrical property of the electronic circuit has changed, it is determined that the conduit is moving or has moved.
