Display control apparatus, image display method, and non-transitory computer-readable medium
The present invention provides an image display method with which a structure of an imaging object can be easily understood on the basis of volume data. An image display method according to an aspect of the present invention includes obtaining photoacoustic image data, generating a first photoacoustic image corresponding to a first spatial region on the basis of photoacoustic image data and a second photoacoustic image corresponding to a second spatial region having a different thickness in a viewing direction of rendering from a thickness of the first spatial region and having a spatial region overlapped with the first spatial region on the basis of the photoacoustic image data, and generating and displaying a parallel image in which the first photoacoustic image and the second photoacoustic image are arranged side by side.
Endoscope system, processor device, and method of operating endoscope system for discriminating a region of an observation target
An endoscope system includes a light source unit, an image sensor, an image acquisition unit, a first image generation unit, a second image generation unit, and a region discrimination unit. The light source unit emits a plurality of types of illumination light beams with different wavelengths. The image acquisition unit acquires images corresponding to the respective illumination light beams. The first image generation unit generates a first image (white light image) serving as a base of a display image. The second image generation unit generates a second image (bright/dark region discrimination image or the like), using at least one image having a different corresponding wavelength from that of the image used for the generation of the first image. The region discrimination unit discriminates the regions in the observation target, using the second image.
Apparatus and method for measuring alcohol concentration, and system for controlling starting of vehicle
In a method and apparatus for measuring an alcohol concentration, a blood alcohol concentration of a driver is rapidly and precisely measured by selecting a plurality of wavelengths based on the absorbance for blood components exerting an influence on the measurement result of the blood alcohol concentration and by measuring the blood alcohol concentration of the driver based on the absorbance detected with respect to a physical body of a user by using the plurality of selected wavelengths. Starting of the vehicle is controlled based on the blood alcohol concentration of the driver, which is measured by measuring the alcohol concentration.
MEDICAL IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM, AND MEDICAL IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE OPERATION METHOD
A medical image processing device acquires a medical image, detects a position of a specific blood vessel having a predetermined thickness or more on the basis of the medical image, and performs control for outputting specific blood vessel position information regarding the position of the specific blood vessel to provide a notification. The detection of the position of a specific blood vessel is performed by using a learning image that is the medical image associated with information regarding a position of at least a part of the specific blood vessel.
Optical surgical system having light sensor on its jaw and method for determining vessel size with angular distortion compensation
A system and method for compensation of angular distortions in a system utilizing light emitters and light sensors disposed on non-parallel jaws may include determining a first point at a first side of a region of interest and a second point at a second side of the region of interest, determining a linear curve including the first and second points, and utilizing the linear curve to remove the angular distortion from the region of interest between the first and second points, A system and method for compensation of angular distortions may alternatively include modeling a non-pulsatile illumination pattern according to the intensities of individual emitters, comparing the pattern according to the model against a non-pulsatile illumination pattern detected using the light sensors, and varying the intensities of the individual emitters based on the comparison until angular distortion has been removed.

A detection device includes a substrate, a plurality of photodiodes provided on the substrate, a plurality of transistors provided correspondingly to the respective photodiodes, a plurality of gate lines that extend in a first direction, a plurality of signal lines that extend in a second direction intersecting the first direction, a plurality of lower electrodes that are provided between the transistors and the photodiodes in a direction orthogonal to the substrate, and are provided correspondingly to the respective photodiodes, an upper electrode provided so as to extend across the photodiodes, and a reflective layer provided between the substrate and each of the photodiodes in the direction orthogonal to the substrate. Each of the lower electrodes has a smaller area than an area defined by the gate lines and the signal lines, and the reflective layer is provided between the lower electrodes adjacent to each other in a plan view.
Biometric patient identity verification system
A system for determining identification of a patient communicating over a computer network with a medical provider with certainty is provided using biometric data captured by said medical provider with subsequent biometric data generated by biometric sensors proximal to a patient. Using previously captured biometric information concerning physical characteristics unique to the patient and comparing such to subsequently generated biometric data from the patient, a medical provider can determine the identity of a patient attempting communication over a computer network with the medical provider.
