A method for monitoring pressure of blood in an artery may include contacting a non-invasive sensor of a pressure of blood monitoring device at an area above an artery of a finger, collecting with the sensor one or more pressure data readings, other than readings corresponding to an air pressure reading, from the area after the contacting and after a pressure is exerted at the area on the sensor; and analyzing with a computing device the one or more pressure data readings to generate at least one of a blood pressure reading and a heart pulse reading.
GUARD RINGS FOR ON-BODY ANALYTE SENSORS
On-body analyte sensors may be designed for extended wear to provide ongoing measurement of physiological analyte levels. However, on-body analyte sensors may be susceptible to damage or dislodgment during wear due to routine interactions that occur with one's surroundings. Guard rings may be adapted to protect on-body analyte sensors from such interactions. Guard rings may comprise an annular body comprising an inner perimeter face, an outer perimeter face, a top edge, and a bottom face adapted for contacting a tissue surface. The inner perimeter face is shaped to circumferentially surround a sensor housing of an on-body analyte sensor. At least a portion of the outer perimeter face defines a chamfered surface extending between the top face and the bottom face. Adhesive pads or strips may further be engaged with the guard rings and aid in securing the guard rings to a surface, such as skin.

A measurement device has a measurement belt to which a plurality of electrode pads arranged in a row and a plurality of strain gauges arranged in parallel to the plurality of electrode pads are integrally adhered and configured to be used after being wrapped around a portion serving as a measurement target of a living body; and a processor configured to: acquire an image of the portion serving as the measurement target while applying a current to the plurality of electrode pads and acquiring a voltage signal generated between the electrode pads; and estimate a contour shape of the portion serving as the measurement target and a size of the contour shape on the basis of curvature data acquired via the plurality of strain gauges.

A biological sensor module includes a light emitter that emits irradiation light with which a living body is irradiated, a light receiver that receives reflected light that is the irradiation light reflected off the living body, and a passage section through which the irradiation light and the reflected light pass. The passage section includes an outer surface section that comes into contact with the living body and an inner surface section that is opposite the outer surface section. The outer surface section has a first convex curved surface that presses the living body, and the inner surface section has a second convex curved surface that collects the reflected light incident on the passage section into a spot on the light receiver.

SYSTEM FOR TRANSMISSION OF SENSOR DATA USING DUAL COMMUNICATION PROTOCOL
Medical patient monitoring sensor devices including a disposable sensor assembly and a reusable pairing device are disclosed. The disposable sensor assembly can collect patient physiological data and provide power for the reusable pairing device. The reusable pairing device can establish wireless communication with a monitoring device. Once the reusable pairing device receives patient physiological data from the disposable sensor assembly, the reusable pairing device can wirelessly transmit the data to the computing device via the wireless communication.
HIGHLY INTEGRATED ANALYTE DETECTION DEVICE
The invention discloses a highly integrated analyte detection system, including: a bottom case; a sensor structure, the sensor structure includes a sensor and a sensor base, the sensor includes a signal output end and a detection end, and at least two first electrical connection areas insulated from each other are provided on the surface of the signal output end; and a transmitter, the transmitter and the bottom case are fastened with each other, and the transmitter is provided with second electrical connection areas, which are insulated from each other, corresponding to the first electrical connection areas, each second electrical connection area is electrically connected to the corresponding first electrical connection area. Such a design reduces the height of the sensor structure, making the overall structure of the detection system more compact, as a result, reducing the volume and enhancing the user experience.

The invention discloses a micro-analyte detection device, which comprises a bottom case, the bottom board of the bottom case is provided with a mounting hole; a sensor structure, the sensor structure includes a sensor and a sensor base, and the sensor includes a signal output end and a detection end, and a transmitter, the transmitter includes a transmitter housing and an electronic device, the electronic device is provided with an electrical connection area, when the transmitter is installed in the working position, the electrical connection area is electrically connected with the signal output end. This device effectively reduces the overall thickness of the analyte detection device and enhances the user experience.
