20230240777 · 2023-08-03 ·

A system comprises a neuromonitoring system configured to generate nerve data regarding a state of a nerve of a patient during a surgical procedure on the patient. The system includes a robotic system configured to receive or generate, for the surgical procedure, location data that identifies a location of the nerve of the patient. The robotic system may cause the neuromonitoring system to be in either an active state or an inactive state based on the location data, where the active state is a state in which the neuromonitoring system provides the nerve data to the robotic system, while the inactive state is a state in which the neuromonitoring system does not provide the nerve data to the robotic system. The robotic system may further generate at least one control signal that implements one or more safeguards for the surgical procedure.

RADIOGRAPHIC SYSTEM

The radiographic system includes a camera that images a subject, a processor, and a display, in which the processor recognizes whether or not arrangement of the subject in a camera image captured using the camera matches arrangement of the subject in the imaging menu, and displays a first display mode for indicating presence of a result of the recognition, and displays a second display mode for displaying a content of the recognition result in a case of receiving an explicit display request for the recognition result, on the display.

REAL-TIME ESTIMATION OF ELECTRODE ARRAY POSE DURING INTRA-COCHLEAR INSERTION
20220023618 · 2022-01-27 ·

A method includes receiving first information regarding a pose of a structure in a first time period. The structure is configured to be inserted into a body portion of a recipient. The first information includes at least one of: a first estimate of the pose of the structure in the first time period, and a first measurement set including one or more first measurement values. At least some of the one or more first measurement values are generated using a plurality of sensors distributed along the structure. The one or more first measurement values are indicative of the pose of the structure in the first time period. The method further includes generating a second estimate of the pose of the structure using at least the first information and a probabilistic model of the structure and/or the body portion.

Disclosed embodiments include apparatuses, systems, and methods for providing a sheath tip with an angled distal face to conform the sheath to a surface of tissue toward which the sheath is being extended to potentially help reduce or avoid tissue damage upon extending a sheath to convey an elongated instrument for sampling or treatment. In an illustrative embodiment, an apparatus includes a sheath tip positionable at an end of a sheath configured to convey an elongated medical instrument to a location adjacent a detection range of a detecting device. The sheath tip includes a distal member that extends a finite distance beyond the end of the sheath. The distal member is detectable by the detecting device when the end of the sheath is within the finite distance of the detection range of the detecting device.

Implantable sensors for vascular monitoring

An implantable sensor for implantation in a vessel, comprising a plurality of electrodes for placement on, in or adjacent a vessel wall, means for providing a drive signal to the electrodes, means for measuring at least one of impedance and capacitance between at least two of the plurality of electrodes, and means for wirelessly communicating data from the sensor and a blood vessel monitoring system comprising same.

Wearing prompt method for wearable device and apparatus

A wearing prompt method for a wearable device and an apparatus, and related to the field of communications technologies, to reduce a probability that the wearable device cannot accurately measure physiological parameters of a user, thereby improving accuracy of measuring the physiological parameters of the user. The method includes: obtaining, by the wearable device, a target PPG (photo plethysmo graph) signal; and prompting, by the wearable device when the target PPG signal is inconsistent with a stored reference wearing parameter, a user to adjust a wearing position of the wearable device and to adjust tightness of wearing the wearable device.
