A system and method is provided for a continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system and the processing of data collected thereby. An internet gateway chip (140, 240, 340, 440) is included in elements of a CGM system to facilitate direct data communication with cloud network storage (150, 250, 350, 450) thereby communicate and store data of a CGM sensor (110, 210, 310, 410) of the CGM system. The internet gateway chip can be included in a receiver (130, 230, 330), such as an existing wireless receiver and display device of the CGM; in a smart phone or similar device, where the smart phone is also the wireless receiver and display device of the CGM; or in the sensor, such as an existing sensor and/or transmitter (410, 420) of the CGM to facilitate direct data communication between the CGM system and cloud network storage.

Electrodes for biopotential measurement, biopotential measuring apparatus, and biopotential measuring method

A biopotential can be measured with high accuracy without the electrodes coming into direct contact with the skin and without being affected by any motion artifact. The present invention comprises a first lead which detects a biopotential containing noise components, a second lead which is electrically isolated from the first lead and detects noise components, and a differential amplifier circuit which is input with a first signal output from the first lead and a second signal output from the second lead, and which amplifies and outputs a difference between the first signal and the second signal, wherein a value of an input impedance on the second signal side of the differential amplifier circuit is set so that the noise components detected from the second lead will have a frequency that is higher than a frequency spectrum of the biopotential.

Computer-implemented method and a portable device for analyzing glucose monitoring data indicative of a glucose level in a bodily fluid, and a computer program product
11607180 · 2023-03-21 · ·

A computer-implemented method for analyzing glucose monitoring data comprising: receiving first glucose monitoring data indicative of a glucose level at a measurement time, the first glucose monitoring signals detected in one or more glucose measurement time periods over a first monitoring time period of a continuous glucose monitoring, determining at least one first range event selected from the following group: a normal glucose level event, a hyperglycaemia event, or a hypoglycaemia event; determining how often the first range event is determined for the first monitoring time period; providing a first minimum total, measurement time period, the first minimum total measurement time period being shorter in time than the first monitoring time period; generating first display data representing, for the at least one first range event, the number of first range events in a graphical representation, if the one or more glucose measurement time periods sum up to at least a first minimum total measurement time period; and outputting the first display data through the display device. Further, a portable device and a non-transitory computer readable medium are provided.

User device based parkinson disease detection

A method and user device for providing a unified Parkinson's disease rating scale (UPDRS) value by a user device includes generating, by a sensor of the user device, sensor data based on a user of the user device manipulating the user device. The UPDRS value is determined based on the sensor data and a deep neural network (DNN) model. The UPDRS value is provided to permit an evaluation of the user based on the UPDRS value.
