Automatic alert control for acute health event
An example device of a patient includes an antenna configured to wirelessly receive communication from a medical device; and processing circuitry coupled to the antenna and configured to: determine that the received communication indicates that a patient is experiencing an acute health event; in response to the determination, determine one or more physical states of the patient based on sensed data from one or more sensors; confirm that the patient is not experiencing the acute health event based on the determined one or more physical states; and output information based on the confirmation that the patient is not experiencing the acute health event.
Measurement of vital signs based on images recorded by an egocentric camera
A method for determining one or more vital signs of a person includes recording video images of a scene with an egocentric camera coupled to the person's body, detecting and magnifying image frame-to-image frame movements in the video images of the scene, representing the magnified image frame-to-image frame movements in the video images of the scene by a one-dimensional (1D) amplitude-versus-time series, and transforming the 1D amplitude-versus-time series representation into a frequency spectrum. The method further includes identifying one or more local frequency maxima in the frequency spectrum as corresponding to one or more vital signs of the person.
Data Processing System with Machine Learning Engine to Provide Output Generation Functions
Methods, computer-readable media, systems, and/or apparatuses for providing offer and insight generation functions are provided. For instance, user input may be received requesting generation of an offer. In response to receiving the request, an application may be transmitted to a device, such as a mobile device of a user. In some examples, the application may be executed by the device and may facilitate establishing a communication session with a third party system, identifying and extracting data from the third party system, and transmitting the extracted data to an entity for evaluation. In some examples, evaluation by the entity may include generating one or more insights, outputs and the like. In some arrangements, the evaluation may be performed using machine learning and, in some examples, may be performed in real-time or near real-time.
ACTIVITY AND WORKOUT UPDATES
The present disclosure generally relates to navigating, viewing, and sharing activity and workout data and interacting with workout and/or activity applications. In some examples, scrolling of activity data is based on the content being displayed. In some examples, friends' activity data may be viewed. In some examples, a notification and workout data for a friend's completed workout is received and displayed. In some example, the activity data received from friends is viewed and managed. In some examples, workout data for a multi-segment workout is displayed in a three-dimensional stack on a map. In some examples, a workout application operates in a limited mode until a touch input is received with a characteristic intensity that is greater than a threshold intensity.
DENTAL FEATURE IDENTIFICATION FOR ASSESSING ORAL HEALTH
A computer program and computer-based system for remotely assessing oral health of a person by obtaining at least one digital image (1) of the person's oral cavity and additional non-image data (2) comprising anamnestic information about the person (30). The digital images (1) are segmented using statistical image segmentation algorithms (101,102) to extract visible segments (3), which are further processed to predict any invisible segments (6). The resulting segments are processed by a statistical object detection algorithm (104) using the non-image data (2) as further input to identify dental features (7), which are filtered to select only risk-related dental features (8) using a risk database (9) and mapped to respective tooth regions (11) or oral cavity regions (12) in an Oral Risk Atlas (10).
USER INTERFACE FOR DIABETES MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS INCLUDING FLASH GLUCOSE MONITOR
One or more embodiments of the disclosure relate, generally, to a diabetes management system. Such a diabetes management system may include a flash glucose monitor and a user interface. The user interface may be configured to display one or more of graphical representations of glucose values and value representative of glucose measurements, and to change values displayed responsive to user interaction with the user interface.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR POWER MANAGEMENT IN ANALYTE SENSOR SYSTEM
An analyte sensor system may include a first communication circuit configured to transmit a wireless signal in a first communication mode and a second communication mode, and a processor, wherein the processor determines whether a first condition is satisfied, the first condition relating to the sensor signal or to communication by the first communication circuit, and shifts the system to a second communication mode responsive to the first condition being satisfied.
KNEE BRACE PROVIDING DYNAMIC DATA
A flexible knee brace has integrated accelerometers. The knee brace is a sleeve having panels that provide support to the knee. Accelerometers may be affixed with one or a pair of the braces at different locations on the braces to obtain and evaluate data regarding movement of the knee.
STABILITY EVALUATION SYSTEM, PROGRAM, AND METHOD
A stabilizing ability, so-called stability, according to a change in body motion of a wearer is to be appropriately evaluated to achieve effective training, coaching, and fitting of athletic equipment.
Provided are a plurality of body motion sensors 40 that is attached to a wearer 1 or an arbitrary part of a barbell 1a to be used by the wearer 1 and is capable of detecting three-dimensional displacement or rotation of each part, a memory that records a detection result by the plurality of body motion sensors 40 as body motion data and stores index data holding a correlation between an amount of deviation from a stable reference value for evaluating reproducibility of body motion and an index for evaluating a stabilizing ability, an index calculation unit 117g that refers to the index data based on a reference value or a threshold acquired from the recorded body motion data and calculates the index for evaluating the stabilizing ability, and an output device that displays or outputs the index calculated by the index calculation unit 117g.
THERAPEUTIC SMILE DETECTION SYSTEMS
Systems for detecting when a person exhibits a smile with therapeutic benefits including a facial expression detection device and a system processor. The facial expression detection device is configured to acquire facial expression data. The system processor is in data communication with the facial expression detection device and is configured to execute stored computer executable system instructions. The computer executable system instructions include the steps of receiving facial expression parameter data establishing target facial expression criteria, receiving current facial expression data from the facial expression detection device, comparing the current facial expression data to the target facial expression criteria of the facial expression parameter data, and identifying whether the current facial expression data satisfies the target facial expression criteria. The target facial expression criteria define a smile with therapeutic benefits.
