CONTACTLESS HEALTHCARE SCREENING

One or more devices may be configured to provide or otherwise facilitate contactless healthcare screening. A mobile app may be installed on a device of a patient, and the mobile app may cause the device to guide the patient through a healthcare screening, for example, including administration of a healthcare screening questionnaire, without risk of making physical contact with the healthcare worker. The same mobile app or another mobile app may be installed on a device of a healthcare worker, and the mobile app may cause the device to guide the healthcare worker in administering the healthcare screening to the patient, also without risk of making physical contact with the patient.

ASSESSING FALL RISK OF MOBILE DEVICE USER

Embodiments are disclosed for assessing fall risk of a mobile device user. In some embodiments, a method comprises: obtaining one or more mobility metrics indicative of a user’s mobility, the mobility metrics obtained at least in part from sensor data output by at least one sensor of the mobile device; evaluating the one or more mobility metrics over one or more specified time periods to derive one or more longitudinal features; estimating a plurality of walking steadiness indicators based on a plurality of component models and the one or more longitudinal features; inferring the user’s risk of falling based at least in part on the plurality of walking steadiness indicators; and initiating an action or application on the mobile device based at least in part on the user’s risk of falling.

A weapon assembly includes a weapon; a weapon holster configured to receive and support at least a portion of the weapon; and a controller that includes a biometric sensor and a weapon activation sensor. The controller perform operations including transmitting a signal generated by the weapon activation sensor that is indicative of at least one of a release of the portion of the weapon from the weapon holster or a discharge of the weapon; and transmitting a signal generated by the biometric sensor indicative of a biometric state of a user of the weapon subsequent to the release of the portion of the weapon from the weapon holster or the discharge of the weapon. The signal generated by the biometric sensor is processable by a control system to generate a biometric feedback to determine a predictive diagnosis for the user.

User interface for diabetes management systems including flash glucose monitor

One or more embodiments of the disclosure relate, generally, to a diabetes management system. Such a diabetes management system may include a flash glucose monitor and a user interface. The user interface may be configured to display one or more of graphical representations of glucose values and value representative of glucose measurements, and to change values displayed responsive to user interaction with the user interface.

DISPLAY DEVICE

A display device measures a user's blood pressure by detecting a photoplethysmography signal. A display device includes a display panel that includes a through hole and a pixel area that surrounds the through hole and includes pixels that display an image, a pressure sensor disposed on a surface of the display panel and configured to sense an externally applied pressure, a light-emitting member disposed at a position that overlaps the through hole of the display panel and outputs light toward a front side of the display panel through the through hole, and a light-receiving sensor that faces the front side of the display panel and is configured to sense light reflected from the front side of the display panel toward the display panel.

Approach for measuring capillary refill time

The capillary refill time (CRT) of a patient is an important feature in the determination of cardiovascular system health. Quick re-perfusion of the microcirculation (namely, the capillaries) is a good indication that the cardiovascular system is able to efficiently distribute blood throughout the body. Current systems use unreliable or subjective methods to test the CRT. Additionally, the calculation of CRT is not generally used in the adult medical space as it is more commonly used in pediatrics. The present application describes a system and method for calculating a patient's CRT using a mobile device with an integrated camera and light source, or an optical head-mounted display using a light source in combination with ambient light to calculate the CRT. Once a patient's CRT is calculated, an integrated application classifies the data and sends it to the treating clinician for review.
