METHOD FOR INTEGRATING A FURTHER BUS SUBSCRIBER INTO A BUS SYSTEM, AND BUS SYSTEM FOR INTEGRATING A FURTHER BUS SUBSCRIBER THEREIN
20210103538 · 2021-04-08 · ·

A method for integrating a further bus subscriber into a bus system, and a bus system, having a master module and subscribers disposed in series, includes the temporally consecutive method steps: in a first method step, the further bus subscriber transmits a data packet to the master module in order to log in to the master module, in a second method step, a bus subscriber disposed between the further bus subscriber and the master module stops the data packet and checks whether the bus system has already received a release, in a third method step, the first bus subscriber forwards the data packet to the master module if the bus system has not yet received a release, or in a third, in particular an alternative, method step, if the bus system has already received a release, the bus subscriber stores the data packet and waits until the release of the bus system is revoked and after the release has been revoked, forwards the stored data packet to the master module.

COMMUNICATION METHOD BETWEEN MASTER CONTROLLER AND SLAVE CONTROLLER, SLAVE CONTROLLER FOR THE SAME, AND BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM USING THE SAME

Disclosed are a communication method between a master controller and slave controllers, a slave controller for the communication method, and a battery management system using the communication method and the slave controller, in which the master controller receives safety information about battery cells through a plurality of channels even when each of a plurality of slave controllers includes only one micro controller unit, thereby minimizing the increase in the cost and enhancing the safety of the battery management system. The communication method includes performing bidirectional communication between a master controller and first to N.sup.th (where N is an integer equal to or more than two) slave controllers through a first communication channel, and receiving, by the master controller, an indication signal through a second communication signal via the first to N.sup.th slave controllers.

Air conditioner and method for controlling an air conditioner

An air conditioner and a method for controlling an air conditioner are provided. The air conditioner may include a plurality of units including an outdoor unit and an indoor unit, the plurality of units being distributed at a plurality of layers or levels or floors in a building; and a controller configured to monitor and control the plurality of units. The controller and the plurality of units may include a communication unit configured to transmit/receive data in a wireless communication scheme, respectively. One of the plurality of units may be configured as a master node, and remaining units except for the unit configured as the master node may be configured as slave nodes, respectively, so that the slave node stores information on an upper parent node and a lower child node in a routing table to transmit data.

APPLIANCES AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

An appliance is provided. The appliance includes a transceiver, and a processor configured to, based on an external appliance being identified to be adjacent to the appliance, receive arrangement state information of the external appliance through the transceiver, identify whether the appliance is a slave device controlled by the external appliance or a master device to control the external appliance based on the arrangement state information of the external appliance and arrangement state information of the appliance, based on the appliance being identified as the slave device, transmit a control authority to the external appliance through the transceiver, and based on the appliance being identified as the master device, request the control authority from the external appliance identified as the slave device through the transceiver.

MULTI-MODULE FIBER LASER CAPABLE OF MONITORING ABNORMALITIES OF OPTICAL MODULES IN REAL TIME
20210119406 · 2021-04-22 ·

A multi-module fiber laser capable of monitoring abnormalities of optical modules in real time. In the multi-module fiber laser, the CAN bus is employed to directly obtain whether each of the slave control modules or the master control module is in normal working condition, so that the CAN bus is at the status level corresponding to whether all modules are in normal working state, namely, the CAN bus that is configured to transmit the light control signal issued by the master control module. The status level of the slave control module or the combiner module is also transmitted via the CAN bus, so that all the slave control modules can quickly put themselves in the corresponding working state according to the status level of the CAN bus.

Function connection unit comprising a service module

The present disclosure relates to a function connection unit for connecting functional modules. The functional connection unit includes a plurality of functional module terminals configured to connect to the functional modules and to communicate according to a first communication protocol, and a service module that includes a service terminal configured to connect to at least one functional module terminal of the plurality of functional module terminals to communicate according to the first communication protocol. The service module also includes a communication terminal to communicate according to a second communication protocol. The service module is configured to supply parameter data available at the communication terminal according to the second communication protocol to the service terminal according to the first communication protocol. The function connection unit is configured to parameterize at least one functional module based at least in part on the parameter data.

WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, SLAVE WIRELESS DEVICE AND MASTER WIRELESS DEVICE
20210059007 · 2021-02-25 · ·

A wireless communication system allows the movement of a carriage or an automated conveyance vehicle to which a plurality of slave wireless device and a plurality of appliances are provided. A master control unit of a master wireless device uses a master communication unit to transmit a cut-off request signal to a slave wireless device deviating from a communication-target region. If a slave communication unit receives the cut-off request signal, a slave control unit of the slave wireless device cuts off a wireless connection.

Method for setting slave identification information for actuator movement sensing element
10935947 · 2021-03-02 · ·

The present invention relates to a method for setting slave identification information for an actuator movement sensing element and, more particularly, to a method for sensing a distance, by which an actuator having a lens assembly coupled thereto has moved in one direction among an x-axis, a y-axis, and a z-axis, and transmitting the sensed distance to a master controller according to a two-wire interface scheme. The method comprises the steps of: when a slave identification information change command is received from a master controller, checking whether actuator movement distance sensing data is input from a hall sensor allocated to itself; and as a result of the checking, when actuator movement distance sensing data equal to or greater than a set value is input, setting slave identification information assigned at the time of production to be changed into slave identification information transmitted by the master controller.
