Medical monitoring system
A medical monitoring system for use in residential facilities, nursing homes, or home environments is disclosed. The system utilizes a variety of modules and wearable medical devices that convey vital patient information to a series of smart hubs which are connected to the cloud. In the event a change in medical status of a patient occurs, the health care workers receive an Alert notifying them of which specific patient needs attention. The system is monitored using a specialized dashboard.
System, method, and computer algorithm for characterization and classification of electrophysiological evoked potentials
An automated EP analysis apparatus for monitoring, detecting and identifying changes (adverse or recovering) to a physiological system generating the analyzed EPs, wherein the apparatus is adapted to characterize and classify EPs and create alerts of changes (adverse or recovering) to the physiological systems generating the EPs if the acquired EP waveforms change significantly in latency, amplitude or morphology.
Detection of mental state and reduction of artifacts using functional near infrared spectroscopy (FNIRS)
fNIRS may be used in real time or near-real time to detect the mental state of individuals. Phase measurement can be applied to drive an adaptive filter for the removal of motion artifacts in real time or near-real time. In this manner, the application of fNIRS may be extended to practical non-laboratory environments. For example, the mental state of an operator of a vehicle may be monitored, and alerts may be issued and/or an autopilot may be engaged when the mental state of the operator indicates that the operator is inattentive.
Safety monitoring platform
In some implementations, a system can transmit communications indicating an occurrence of a particular type of safety incident experienced by a user. Registration information that indicates that a plurality of safety devices of different types are to be registered with the user is initially obtained. Sensor data from the plurality of safety devices of different types are obtained. An occurrence of a particular type of safety incident experienced by the user is then selected from among a plurality of types of safety incidents. The selection may be based at least on the obtained sensor data and the obtained registration information. A communication is then provided to another user to indicate the occurrence of the particular type of safety incident experienced by the user in response to selecting the occurrence of the particular type of safety incident.
Method and system for remotely monitoring the psychological state of an application user using machine learning-based models
An application user is granted access to one or more applications that provide the user with information and assistance. Through the one or more applications, the user is provided with interactive content, and data related to aspects of the user's interaction with the provided content is collected. The collected interaction data is analyzed to remotely identify and monitor changes or anomalies in the psychological state of the user using machine learning-based models. Upon identification of changes or anomalies in the user's psychological state, one or more actions are taken to assist the user.
AUTONOMOUS BEHAVIORAL OVERRIDE UTILIZING AN EMERGENCY CORRIDOR
Systems and methods are disclosed for autonomous behavior override utilizing an emergency corridor. An example disclosed system includes an autonomous vehicle, infrastructure nodes, and an emergency router. The example autonomous vehicle sends an emergency request in response to detecting an occupant experiencing a medical emergency. The example infrastructure nodes are distributed across a municipal area. The example emergency router selects a route from a first location of the autonomous vehicle to an emergency response facility. The example emergency router also selects the infrastructure nodes that are along the route. Additionally, the example emergency router instructs the selected infrastructure nodes to broadcast messages to create an emergency corridor.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION OF MEDICAL DATA
A system includes a processor configured to wirelessly receive crash indicia from a vehicle. The processor is also configured to access an occupant profile including medical data relating to an occupant of the vehicle, identify a public safety access point (PSAP), and send the medical data to the identified PSAP, in response to the crash indicia.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR HEALTH MONITORING AND PROVIDING EMERGENCY SUPPORT
Systems and methods for providing a health monitoring and emergency response service are provided. Each element in a plurality of data elements is obtained from a health monitoring device connected to a corresponding subject in a plural of subjects. An alert is triggered through analysis of the data element or manually triggered by the subject or a subject's circle of support. A communication channel is opened between the subject and the members of the circle of support. The subject or one or more members of the circle of support of the subject verifies or rejects the alert. The alert is sent to a remote monitoring alarm center and emergency responders are dispatched.
Health State Trends for a Consistent Patient Situation
This document describes techniques and apparatuses enabling determination of health state trends for a consistent patient situation. Various noninvasive health monitors can be used to sense a patient's situation and health states, including disease progression, at those states. These noninvasive health monitors may also act passively and in a patient's normal course of life, which enhances many patient's desire to submit to monitoring, as well as increase consistency of use, as in many cases the patient does little or nothing to cause his or her health monitoring and health-trend determination. With health states determined for a consistent patient situation, more accurate and more robust health trends can be determined.
Computer-Assisted Patient Navigation and Information Systems and Methods
A computer-assisted patient navigational communication system for receiving electronic and oral communications from a patient, scanning data to determine the medical needs of the patient, and displaying relevant information to appropriate medical personnel who can immediately advise the patient of the most appropriate source of medical assistance relating to the patient’s identified symptoms.
