SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR QUANTITATIVE DIAGNOSIS OF ANEMIA
20210361195 · 2021-11-25 ·

A smartphone-based hemoglobin (Hgb) assessment application quantitatively analyzes pallor in patient-sourced photos using image analysis algorithms to enable a noninvasive, accurate quantitative smartphone app for detecting anemia. A user takes a photo of his/her fingernail beds using the app and receives an accurate displayed Hgb level. Since fingernails do not contain melanocytes, the primary source of color of these anatomical features is blood Hgb. At the same time, quality control software minimizes the impact of common fingernail irregularities (e.g. leukonychia and camera flash reflection) on Hgb level measurement. Metadata recorded upon capturing the image is leveraged for determining a users' Hgb level thereby eliminating the need for external equipment. A personalized calibration of image data with measured Hgb levels improves the accuracy of the application.

Sensing zone for spatially relevant electrical information

Systems and methods are disclosed to determine one or more sensing zones on a body surface for electrocardiographic mapping of a region of interest associated with the heart. The sensing zone can be utilized to facilitate acquisition, processing and mapping of electrical activity for the corresponding region of interest. In other examples, an application-specific arrangement of electrodes can also be provided based on the sensing zone that is determined for the region of interest.

Instantaneous direct communication network system and method

The present disclosure relates generally to instantaneous communication network systems and methods and, in particular, in one or more embodiments, the present disclosure relates to a first multi-mode and multi-frequency communication device capable of connecting directly with a proximate second first multi-mode and multi-frequency communication device. A display screen on the communication device is capable of displaying icons and avatars over a map to show other communication devices which are proximate.

DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS AND ASSOCIATED DISPLAY SCREENS FOR ASSESSMENT OF VESSELS
20210353161 · 2021-11-18 ·

Devices, systems, and methods for visually depicting a vessel and evaluating treatment options are disclosed. The methods can include obtaining pressure measurements from first and second instruments positioned within a vessel of a patient while the second instrument is moved longitudinally through the vessel from a first position to a second position and the first instrument remains stationary within the vessel; and outputting a visual representation of the pressure measurements obtained by the first and second instruments on a display, the output visual representation including a graphical display of a pressure ratio of the obtained pressure measurements and at least a portion of a pressure waveform of the obtained pressure measurements identifying a diagnostic period utilized in calculating the pressure ratio.

Health Sticker: A Modular Adhesive Platform Monitoring Vital Signals

Systems and methods for medical monitoring devices are provided. Various embodiments include a monitoring device platform. The platform may adhere to a smartphone and house one or more medical monitoring devices to accommodate for one or more health conditions. The medical monitoring devices may be interchangeable and the types of medical monitoring devices on the platform is customizable. The platform may include Bluetooth® functionality and is compatible with smart phones or other smart devices. Medical information collected by the platform is transmitted to the smart phone for viewing by the user. The medical information may be processed by a machine learning engine and can be used to highlight relevant information within an action plan created by a medical professional. Individual medical devices can slide and lock into the platform and may be used while the phone is in use.

Navigation and local thermometry

A system including a thermal sensor with an instrument placed in a volume. The thermal sensor may be useful in determining a temperature at a surface of the instrument and a distance away from the instrument. A therapy may be performed based on a sensed temperature with the thermal sensors.

Systems and methods for assisting and augmenting surgical procedures
11166764 · 2021-11-09 · ·

Systems and methods for providing assistance to a surgeon during an implant surgery are disclosed. A method includes defining areas of interest in diagnostic data of a patient and defining a screw bone type based on the surgeon's input. Post defining the areas of interest, salient points are determined for the areas of interest. Successively, an XZ angle, an XY angle, and a position entry point for a screw are determined based on the salient points of the areas of interest. Successively, a maximum screw diameter and a length of the screw are determined based on the salient points. Thereafter, the screw is identified and suggested to the surgeon for usage during the implant surgery.

Wearable terminal and method for operating same

Disclosed is a wearable terminal. The terminal may comprise: a detection circuit; a first electrode and a second electrode which are connected to the detection circuit to form open loop circuits, respectively, and are spaced apart from each other; and a control unit for controlling the wearable terminal to perform a pre-configured function when the first electrode and the second electrode simultaneously come into contact with a part of a user's body, and the detection circuit, the first electrode, and the second electrode then form a signal pathway through the part of the user's body.

System and method for secure cloud-based physiological data processing and delivery

Electronic medical records (EMRs) with the results of the monitoring can be stored in a cloud-computing environment. All communications with the cloud-computing environment are performed via a secure connection. Each of the EMRs can be associated with an identifier that is provided with the results of the monitoring data. The EMRs can be created, viewed, and modified using a mobile application. The mobile application can use a scanner in the mobile device on which the application executes to obtain an identifier and uses the identifier to direct actions of the user towards the appropriate EMR. The mobile application can further provide additional user access verification. Alerts can further be provided through the mobile application. The mobile application deletes from the mobile device all information that has been transmitted or received from the cloud-computing environment once the information is no longer used.
