DISPLAYS FOR A MEDICAL DEVICE
Embodiments described herein relate to an analyte monitoring device having a user interface with a display and a plurality of actuators. The display is configured to render a plurality of display screens, including a home screen and an alert screen. The home screen is divided into a plurality of simultaneously displayed panels, with a first panel displays a rate of change of continuously monitored analyte levels in interstitial fluid, a second panel simultaneously displays a current analyte level and an analyte trend indicator, and a third panel displays status information of a plurality of components of the device. When an alarm condition is detected, the display renders the alert screen in place of the home screen, the alert screen displaying information corresponding to the detected alarm condition. Furthermore, the actuators are configured to affect further output of the analyte monitoring device corresponding to the detected condition.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MEASURING BLOOD AND SKIN COMPONENTS
The present disclosure is directed to a method and device to determine blood and/or skin constituents of a mammal. The device includes a plurality of light emitting diodes, one or more sensors and a processor.
MUSCLE AND FASCIA PAIN IDENTIFICATION BY ELECTRICAL STIMULUS
A nerve stimulation system including a stimulation probe including a handle and a stimulation head at an end of the handle; a reference electrode; and a control system in communication with the stimulation probe and the reference electrode, the control system configured to generate an electrical stimulation signal that, when delivered to a skin surface of a patient using the stimulation probe, induces an activation potential in a plurality of nociceptors while remaining below a threshold that induces a muscle contractile response.
BIOMAGNETISM MEASUREMENT APPARATUS, BIOMAGNETISM MEASUREMENT SYSTEM, BIOMAGNETISM MEASUREMENT METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A biomagnetism measurement apparatus includes a memory and a processor configured to set a curved surface as a region-of-interest based on a morphological image including a portion to be evaluated of a subject, the morphological image being acquired by an image acquisition apparatus, and the curved surface being a surface on which an anterior-posterior position of the subject changes in a cranial-caudal direction and in a left-right direction along a position of a nerve to be evaluated. The processor is further configured to estimate current distribution in the region-of-interest based on magnetic data, the magnetic data being acquired by measuring a magnetic field with a magnetic measurement instrument, and the magnetic field being generated by an electrical activity of a nerve in the portion to be evaluated.
Connected monitoring system
A multi-zone monitoring system is disclosed. The system includes a plurality of sensor modules configured to monitor conditions in a plurality of detection zones. The sensor modules include a combination of detection devices configured to detect different conditions based on a designated zone of each sensor module. The system further includes a reporting device in communication with each of the sensor modules. The reporting device is configured to report the status of each of the detection zones based on indications communicated via the detection devices in the corresponding detection zone.
Adjusting disease data collection to provide high-quality health data to meet needs of different communities
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-storage media, for adjustable data collection for individual and community disease management. In some implementations, user input data is provided by one or more individuals in a community to one or more user devices. Trigger data is accessed indicating one or more data collection triggers associated with monitoring of a disease. A particular data collection trigger indicated by the trigger data is detected by determining that the one or more criteria for the particular data collection trigger are satisfied. In response to detecting the data collection trigger: content is selected to prompt user input; a set of individuals associated with the community is selected to receive the selected content; and the user devices present the selected content that is configured to prompt for user input regarding of the type of data associated with the detected data collection trigger.
Systems and methods for video-based monitoring of vital signs
The present invention relates to the field of medical monitoring, and in particular non-contact, video-based monitoring of pulse rate, respiration rate, motion, and oxygen saturation. Systems and methods are described for capturing images of a patient, producing intensity signals from the images, filtering those signals to focus on a physiologic component, and measuring a vital sign from the filtered signals. Examples include flood fill methods and skin tone filtering methods.
SENSING ZONE FOR SPATIALLY RELEVANT ELECTRICAL INFORMATION
Systems and methods are disclosed to determine one or more sensing zones on a body surface for electrocardiographic mapping of a region of interest associated with the heart. The sensing zone can be utilized to facilitate acquisition, processing and mapping of electrical activity for the corresponding region of interest. In other examples, an application-specific arrangement of electrodes can also be provided based on the sensing zone that is determined for the region of interest.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR ESTABLISHING PARAMETERS FOR THREE-DIMENSIONAL IMAGING
The invention relates to systems and methods for the operation of three-dimensional imaging systems. Systems and methods of the invention are operable to display an image of tissue, receive a selection of points from within the image, establish a boundary corresponding to the selected points, and capture a three-dimensional image of the tissue within the designated boundary
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ASSISTING AND AUGMENTING SURGICAL PROCEDURES
Systems and methods for providing assistance to a surgeon during an implant surgery are disclosed. A method includes defining areas of interest in diagnostic data of a patient and defining a screw bone type based on the surgeon's input. Post defining the areas of interest, salient points are determined for the areas of interest. Successively, an XZ angle, an XY angle, and a position entry point for a screw are determined based on the salient points of the areas of interest. Successively, a maximum screw diameter and a length of the screw are determined based on the salient points. Thereafter, the screw is identified and suggested to the surgeon for usage during the implant surgery.
