TECHNIQUES FOR MENOPAUSE AND HOT FLASH DETECTION AND TREATMENT
Methods, systems, and devices for menopause detection and treatment are described. A system may be configured to receive physiological data associated with a user from a wearable device, and identify one or more physiological indications of a hot flash experienced by the user based on the physiological data satisfying one or more thresholds. Additionally, the system may be configured to determine a metabolic efficiency metric associated with the user based on the received physiological data, and determine a menopause metric for the user based on the metabolic efficiency metric, where the menopause metric is associated with a relative probability that the user will experience menopausal symptoms. The system may then cause a graphical user interface (GUI) of a user device to display information associated with the identified hot flash and/or one or more messages associated with the menopause metric.
Apparatus for assessing user frailty
An apparatus for assessing user frailty is disclosed. In embodiments, the apparatus includes a housing that defines (or is defined by) a body and a handle coupled to the body. The apparatus includes a force sensor at least partially disposed within the handle. The apparatus further includes an inertial sensor at least partially disposed within the housing. The apparatus may further include a user interface device disposed within a cavity of the body. The user interface device may be coupled to the force sensor and the inertial sensor via one or more signal paths. In embodiments, the user interface device includes a controller with a touchscreen coupled to the controller.
Apparatus and method for determining cosmetic skin attributes
A method of determining a cosmetic skin attribute of a person is provided. The method includes obtaining a color channel image of a person's skin, analyzing the color channel image with a computer using entropy statistics to obtain an entropy value, and then determining a cosmetic skin attribute for the person based on the entropy value.
SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR PERSONALIZED SKIN HEALTH AND/OR APPEARANCE REGIMEN SUPPORTED WITH MIRROR-BASED DIGITAL INTERFACE APPARATUS
The present invention provides a system for personalized skin health and/or appearance regimen supported with a device that comprises a mirror-based digital interface apparatus, directly from the device to one's account. In some embodiments, the device utilizes built-in virtual trainers/beauticians to give realtime personalized suggestions, product recommendations, based on the user's preference. The trainer/beautician can provide information through text on the screen or use audio. In some embodiments, it can display personalities, influencers, skin health experts who suggest skin workout regiment and them using the mirror-based digital interface. In some embodiments, realtime questions can be asked and answered with a data library integrated within the device and online database.
IMAGING DEVICE AND IMAGING METHOD
An imaging device and a method of imaging accurately decides a cause when pixel values of each pixel in a predetermined region of a fluorescence image varies with time. The imaging device, has an excitation light source, an imaging element that acquires a fluorescence image, an image storing element that stores the fluorescence image with time, a pixel value measurement element an average value calculation element and a first curve generation element that generates showing a time-course change of the average pixel value of the entire fluorescence image, a second curve generation element that generates showing a time-course change of the average pixel value of the region of interest.
IMAGING APPARATUS AND IMAGING METHOD
The imaging apparatus includes: a first light source; a second light source; a reference scale disposed in close proximity to a subject; a first imaging unit for capturing a visible image; a second imaging unit for capturing a fluorescence image; an image display unit for displaying a visible image and a fluorescence image; an operation unit which is a user interface for inputting a desired measurement line on the fluorescence image; and a distance calculation unit for calculating a length of the measurement line based on a length of the reference scale, and the image display unit displays a length of the measurement line calculated by the distance calculation unit.
Display control apparatus, display method, and non-transitory storage medium
A display control apparatus that performs rendering on volume data generated based on a signal obtained by receiving a photoacoustic wave generated by an object irradiated with light includes a first unit configured to obtain positional information of a surface of the object, a second unit configured to set a region inside the object between a surface located at a first distance from the surface of the object and a surface located at a second distance from the surface of the object as a display region on the basis of the positional information of the surface of the object, and a third unit configured to perform the rendering on the volume data in a manner that the display region and a region except for the display region can be discriminated from each other.
Radiation therapy system and method
The present disclosure relates to a therapeutic apparatus including an MRI apparatus configured to acquire MRI data with respect to a region of interest. The MRI apparatus may include a plurality of main magnetic field coils coaxially arranged along an axis. The MRI apparatus may also include a plurality of shielding coils arranged coaxially along the axis. A current within at least one of the shielding coils may be in the same direction with a current within the main magnetic field coils.
3D electrical activity representation
In one embodiment, a medical system includes a catheter including electrodes, and configured to be inserted into a chamber of a heart and maneuvered among sampling sites to sample electrical activity, a display, and processing circuitry to receive signals provided by the catheter, and compute, for each sampling site, a sampling position of the catheter and respective electrode positions of the catheter electrodes, render to the display a 3D representation of the chamber including respective sampling-site markers indicating the computed sampling position of the catheter at respective ones of the sampling sites, receive a user input selecting one sampling-site marker, and update the 3D representation to include electrode markers indicating the respective electrode positions of the respective catheter electrodes while the catheter was sampling the electrical activity of the tissue at the sampling site corresponding to the selected sampling-site marker.
