TERMINAL AND BIOSENSOR SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME

A terminal can include a display configured to display an image; a camera configured to capture an image; a wireless transceiver configured to perform wireless communication with a server or a biosensor diagnostic device; and a controller configured to capture a code image of a biosensor cartridge via the camera, in response to receiving the code image captured by the camera, display diagnosis guide information, transmit, via the wireless transceiver, code information based on the code image to the server. Also, the controller is configured to in response to receiving diagnosis result information from the server corresponding to a positive diagnosis result, collect movement location information and movement time information and transmit the movement location information and the movement time information to the server.

Vein Imaging Device with Differential Image Resolution at the Center and the Extremities of the Vein Image

It is known in the art to use an apparatus to enhance the visual appearance of the veins and arteries in a patient to facilitate insertion of needles into those veins and arteries. This application discloses a number of inventions that add additional data collection and presentation capabilities to a handheld vein enhancement apparatus and a set of processes for the collection of blood and the delivery of IV medicines that use the handheld device to mediate the process.

Management of multiple devices within an analyte monitoring environment

Systems, devices, and methods are provided for the management of multiple sensor control devices and/or multiple reader devices in an in vivo analyte monitoring environment, and also for resolving conflicts when merging data collected by different reader devices.

Systems and methods for assisted transportation for medical care

Exemplary implementations may: obtain passenger information related to a passenger that is relevant to an upcoming medical appointment; store such passenger information; and transmit such passenger information wirelessly to a caregiver with which the upcoming medical appointment is scheduled. Exemplary implementation also may: generate output signals conveying passenger information; provide one or more automated robotic assistants; determine the passenger information; determine necessity of deployment of the one or more automated robotic assistants; and deploy, based on the necessity of deployment, the one or more automated robotic assistants.

Radio frequency identification (RFID) moisture tag(s) and sensors with extended sensing via capillaries

A radio frequency identification (RFID) tag includes a power harvesting circuit that operates generate power for the RFID tag from a continuous wave of a radio frequency (RF) signal. The RFID tag further includes a tuning circuit that is tuned based on a capacitance setting, where the capacitance setting is indicative of a power level of the power. The RFID tag further includes a processing module operably coupled to the tuning circuit, where the processing module operates to generate the capacitance setting to obtain a desired power level for the power.
