Process performance issues and alarm notification using data analytics
A method of alarm notification includes providing data for an industrial process including stored alarm event data and stored Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data, and an alarm event-KPI correlation and operator notification system. Patterns of relationships are discovered between the stored alarm event and KPI data to provide a reference pattern database that identifies KPI violation events in the KPI data as a function of the alarm event data or alarm events in the alarm event data as a function of the KPI data. Pattern matching uses a real-time alarm event and real-time KPI data to determine a pattern similarity by comparing a current sequence spanning a predetermined time of the real-time alarm event and KPI data to the patterns. When the pattern matching identifies a current alarm event or KPI violation event, an operator is notified and a predicted KPI value or feature or a predicted alarm event.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR AUTOMATICALLY GENERATING A PRODUCTION MACHINE OR MACHINE TOOL CONTROL PROGRAM WHICH IS SOLELY DESIGNED FOR DIAGNOSTIC PURPOSES
A method and a device operating according to the method automatically generate a control program designed for diagnostic purposes of a production machine or machine tool. The control program is generated using freely selectable parameters and/or machine-specific parameters by an algorithm which defines a movement profile. The movement profile incorporates at least one test run for at least one axis of the respective production machine or machine tool, wherein the at least one test run produces an axis excitation which is suitable for determining at least one mechatronic characteristic variable of the respective axis.
SPACE CONDITIONING BASED ON WEATHER INFORMATION
Methods, devices, and systems for space conditioning based on weather information are described herein. One device includes a memory, and a processor to execute executable instructions stored in the memory to receive forecasted weather information, determine, based on the forecasted weather information, future weather conditions, determine based on the future weather conditions and historical setpoint data, whether conditioning of a space is expected, and generate an alert in response to conditioning of the space being expected.
Method and system for use in connection with an industrial control system
An industrial control system (ICS) frontend system has a visualization component that concurrently visualizes a functional ICS view (FICSV) and further functional view (FFV). The FICSV represents ICS data associated with the ICS. The FFV is either a further FICSV representing ICS data or is a functional GIS view representing GIS data associated with a geographic information system. The functional views can respond to an associating event. The system further has a data input component configured to receive user input data, the input data indicating a directed associating operation (DAO) between the FICSV and FFV. A system processor component launches the associating event in response to received input data if the DAO is allowed. If the DAO is from an FFV object to the FICSV, the FICSV function is performed using FFV object properties; if from an FICSV ICS object to the FFV, the FFV function uses ICS object properties.

High notification rate detection
Systems and related approaches for monitoring the notification rate of live alarms being presented to an operator in the presentation tool. The number of notifications being received is counted and managed as a rate due to the update frequency of the tool. In some embodiments, when the number of notifications received exceeds a threshold, an indicator is presented to the operator alerting them to the abnormality. The operator may then examine the system as necessary to locate the source of the abnormality.
ANALYSIS OF MULTI-RUN CYCLIC PROCESSING PROCEDURES
A method includes receiving time trace sensor data associated with a substrate processing procedure. The substrate processing procedure includes two or more sets of processing conditions. At least a first set of processing conditions and a second set of processing conditions each include one or more operations performed repeatedly. The method further includes separating a first and second portion of the time trace sensor data corresponding to the first and second sets of processing conditions into a first and second plurality of cycle data. The method further includes processing the first plurality of cycle data and the second plurality of cycle data to generate summary data. The method further includes providing an alert to a user. The alert is based on the summary data.
Information processing device, alarm prediction method, and computer-readable recording medium
An information processing device uses models generated under different conditions, and predicts alarms occurring in the case in which each of a plurality of operation patterns, which is virtually generated in relation to the operation of an actual plant by a worker, is implemented with respect to the actual plant. Then, the information processing device sets the degree of reliability of the prediction result regarding each of the plurality of operation patterns. Subsequently, based on the degree of reliability of the prediction result, the information processing device performs display control with respect to the alarms.
HVAC system and an HVAC controller configured to generate master service alarms
A method of generating an alarm based on temperature conditions within an enclosed space. The method includes receiving, by a processor of a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system, operating-condition information of the HVAC system, determining, by the processor from the received operating-condition information, whether temperature within the enclosed space is approaching a setpoint temperature. Responsive to a determination that the temperature within the enclosed space has failed to approach the setpoint temperature, determining by the processor, whether anomaly conditions exist and responsive to a determination that the anomaly conditions do not exist, generating the alarm.
Apparatus and method for controlling process
An apparatus and a method for controlling a process are provided. An apparatus for controlling a process includes a processor, and a memory for storing a plurality of instructions executed by the processor, in which the plurality of instructions include an instruction for determining deviation tendency of a seating point of a substrate with respect to a seating center point of a substrate support based on a seating point data created by accumulating the seating points of the substrate seated on the substrate support, an instruction for determining an alarm level according to the determined deviation tendency, and an instruction for performing post-processing according to the determined alarm level, in which the seating point data includes a change of the seating point over time.
