20230104079 · 2023-04-06 ·

A tissue repair construct having first and second implants coupled via a flexible element is provided. The flexible element forms an adjustable loop closed with a sliding knot, and has first and second free ends extending from the knot formed by wrapping the second end around the first end. The second implant can have a changeable configuration. The construct can be placed within a surgical site in a patient's body such that the first implant is passed into a bone adjacent to soft tissue and the second implant is disposed on an opposed side of the soft tissue. The first free end of the flexible element is configured to be tensioned to decrease a size of the loop and thereby change the configuration of the second implant and to thereby cause at least the second implant to move towards the first implant.

An implantable device may be provided with first and second bone anchors, at least one suture and a force-generating component. In some embodiments, the first bone anchor is configured to anchor in or on a first bone segment and the second bone anchor is configured to anchor in or on a second bone segment. The at least one suture may interconnect the first bone anchor and the second bone anchor. The force-generating component may be connected to the at least one suture and configured to impart a force thereto. The first bone anchor, the second bone anchor, the at least one suture and the force-generating component may be configured to cooperate together to draw the first bone segment and the second bone segment toward one another with a force in a predetermined range. Methods of device construction and use are also provided.

Soft tissue repair device and associated methods

A soft tissue repair device. The device includes an inserter having a distal portion, a first anchor carried externally onto the distal portion, a second anchor carried externally onto the distal portion, and a flexible strand coupling the first and second anchors and forming an adjustable knotless loop.

Devices, systems, and methods for clamping a leaflet of a heart valve

The present disclosure relates generally to the field of medical devices for clamping a leaflet of a heart valve. In particular, the present disclosure relates to medical devices, systems, and methods for delivering artificial chordae tendineae in a patient. In an embodiment, a system may include a clamp having a plurality of arms at a first end. The plurality of arms may have a closed configuration in which the arms are oriented toward each other, and an open configuration in which the arms are oriented away from each other. A spring portion may be coupled to the plurality of arms at a second end that is configured to bias the arms to the closed configuration. The arms of the clamp may be configured to fixedly engage with a leaflet of the heart valve. The second end of the clamp may be configured to couple to an artificial chordae tendineae.

Anchor delivery systems

Anchor delivery systems include markings on the surfaces of the delivery device which are visually exposed to the user through openings or fenestrations in the anchor, providing visual feedback to the user on the progress of the anchor's insertion. A suture-locking plug is deformable within the anchor tip, thereby enhancing suture entrapment within the tip of the anchor. A compliant component of the handle places the handle components in tension, thereby absorbing built-in axial looseness in the handle. The handle further includes a spin cavity which allows for free spin of the inserter shaft to finalize insertion of the anchor into bone when the anchor has not been fully seated flush with or below the cortical bone surface.

BREAST IMPLANT HAVING A FIXING FASTENER

The present invention relates to a breast implant provided with at least one suture attachment (1), such that said fastener comprises a base (2) having a surface interfacing with the implant, said base extending in height into a protuberance (3) defining a volume, in which a suture through-opening (4) is formed.

Systems and methods for tissue suspension and compression

Suture passer systems for tissue suspension and tissue compression are described. The system can include a shaft and a needle, wherein the needle is freely rotatable with respect to the shaft. The suture may include an overmolded segment. Methods of placing one or more implants, sutures, fastener, bone anchors and other devices are also described. The methods include moving tissue, including the superior pharyngeal constrictor muscle, palatopharyngeal arch, and palatoglossal arch. The methods include hyoid bone suspension.

HOLLOW TWO-SECTION IMPLANTATION KNOTLESS SUTURE ANCHOR
20230149008 · 2023-05-18 ·

The present invention pertains to a hollow two-section implantation knotless suture anchor which comprises a main body, a tightening element and a taper. The main body comprises a front part, a rear part, a middle part, a first penetration part, a first accommodation space, a first thread, a tapered structure, and a perforation. The tightening element comprises a second penetration part and a second accommodation space. The taper comprises a taper body and a taper head. Moreover, the suture can pass through the perforation on the outside of the main body through the perforation. Afterthat it can pass through the first accommodation space and then the second accommodation space on the outside of the tightening element from the side of the tightening element opposite to the main body. Finally, it can extend on the outside of the main body. Hence, by pulling the ends of the suture, the tightness of the suture tightened by the tightening element and the front part is adjustable. Also, when the taper body of the first penetration and the second penetration is positioned, the taper head is next to the tightening element. Thus, by rotating the taper, both the main body and the tightening element are rotatable.

KNOTLESS TENSIONABLE FIXATION SYSTEMS AND SURGICAL METHODS FOR REPAIRING TISSUE DEFECTS
